Offered for your consideration is this near immaculate 2008 Mercury Mountaineer. I will let the photographs and the photo of the origional window sticker speak for its self. It is fully loaded, always garage kept. Never wrecked. It does have a few minor scratches that almost every vehicle gets from being in parking lots....nothing major. Photographs show extent of scratches. I have attached a copy of the Kelly Blue Book value for this vehicle for your comparison. This vehicle has the extended warranty until October of 2014 or 100,000 miles. The warranty is fully transferrable . Transfer fee is $75.00. Warranty transfer will be paid by seller to anyone using the "Buy it now" feature. Other buyers will be responsible for the transfer fee if they choose to have it.

Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch
Tue, 16 Jul 2013A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.
Jill Wagner retired as Mercury spokeswoman
Wed, 17 Nov 2010Jill Wagner has officially given up her crown as the queen of Mercury. With the Ford middle child on its way to the scrap heap, Wagner no longer has any automotive hardware to promote. Given her varied talents, we wouldn't be surprised to see her pick up where she left off with another automaker.
And here you thought you'd never be upset about Mercury's passing.
