Mercury Milan Premier Edition. This vehicle is in fantastic condition
and is a 2nd OWNER
vehicle with no accident history and tons of service records on the
autocheck report. This vehicle has 58,000
original miles. This vehicle
was involved in fresh
water flood and is being sold with a New York Salvage Certificate. We
are not sure
why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any
water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with
all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and
button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no
reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage
title because this vehicle is PERFECT!
This Milan is very
clean and has a silver exterior with black leather interior accented
with grey suede seat inserts. The leather seats are in like new
condition and are also powered as well. This Milan just turned 58k
miles (which is extremely low for this engine) and it runs and drives
fantastically. All these miles are highway miles and it shows. The
drive is so smooth, its like
floating on a
cloud. Every
feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The
air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat in this car is as
hot as you could want it to be. This vehicle is ready for its
new owner and needs nothing at all done to it. This vehicle also has a
4 cylinder engine that is great on gas!
This Milan is loaded up with every possible
option. It has leather interior with power seat, steering wheel
controls, rear spoiler, 17 inch alloy wheels, lumbar seats
that blow up with air,
power glass moonroof, In-dash CD player with premium sound system, XM
ready, wireless bluetooth enabled cell phone, Microsoft Sync, keyless
entry keypad, on board
computer,
remote keyless entry with alarm, traction
control, tiptronic transmission, and all the
power features you could possibly think of. This Milan comes with the original key
fob. We also have all the floor mats and the spare tire and jack. The
tool kit is 100% complete as well. This vehicle was
very well cared for and it
shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is
reliable and runs like a dream. The car has good tires
all around with plenty on tread remaining. We have driven it 1000 miles
and it seems to be running and
driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000
miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and
transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and
good windshield wiper blades. The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and
glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The paint
shines like glass and you can see your reflection in it. The body is in
perfect condition and there is no blemishes to point out on
this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well, especially for its
age. The interior of
the
vehicle is also super clean. The seats
have no cracks or rips and the leather is very firm and supple. The
dash and door panels are also very nice and clean. All the
trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The
interior is perfect condition in my
opinion. This is probably one of the best Milan's that you will find
on eBay. They dont get much better than this. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the
buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering
a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and

Ford finally issues recall for 230K minivans over rust problems
Sun, 10 Mar 2013The rust issue in the rear wheel wells of 2004-2007 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans has finally led to a recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began an investigation into the matter in 2011, said investigation being upgraded to an engineering analysis a year later while NHTSA tried to figure out how many model years should be included in the assessment.
Ford has decided to recall all of the 230,000 minivans potentially affected, namely those sold in salt-belt states and countries like Canada. The excess rust in the rear wheel wells was also able to prevent the third-row seats from locking to the floor of the minivan. To repair the problem, owners can take their minivans to dealers, and the dealers will place new panels in the wheel wells, replace the third-row seat mounting brackets and relocate the latches to an area away from any corrosion.
Ford says it will begin notifying owners during the last week of March.
Ford recalling 450,000 Fusion, Mercury Milan sedans
Tue, Nov 24 2015Ford has announced a pair of recalls, and both are critical safety issues. The exponentially larger of the two recall campaigns affects over 450,000 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans manufactured at the Hermosillo plant between July 21, 2008, and March 4, 2011. The canister purge valve in the fuel tank could malfunction and could cause the top of the tank to crack and leak fuel. That could cause a fire, although Ford "is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fires" resulting from the issue. Affected vehicles will have their ECU software updated and their fuel tanks inspected for potential replacement. The company estimates there are 411,205 affected units in the United States (and its federalized territories), plus another 33,605 in Canada, and 7,055 in Mexico. The second recall affects 13 F-650 trucks. The column shifter's park position mechanism may fracture and let the truck roll away unexpectedly. Those 2016 models built in Ohio between July 29 and September 3, 2015 are all located in the US. Fixing the problem will require replacing the steering column and reconfiguring the instrument panel. FORD ISSUES TWO SAFETY RECALLS IN NORTH AMERICA DEARBORN, Mich., Nov. 23, 2015 – Ford Motor Company is issuing two safety recalls in North America. Ford is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fires related to these conditions. Details are as follows: Ford issues safety recall for certain 2010-2011 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan vehicles in North America for potential fuel tank issue Ford Motor Company is issuing a safety recall for approximately 450,000 2010-2011 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan vehicles for a potential issue with the fuel tank. Ford recalling 126,000 Fusions and Milans over wheel separation concern
Fri, 09 Dec 2011Ford has announced a recall of certain Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan vehicles after an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A total of 128,616 2010 and 2011 models equipped with steel wheels may have been manufactured with wheel studs that could crack and split over time. If that happens, the vehicle may experience a wheel separation.
According to The Detroit News, the company is aware of a total of 30 wheel separation incidents, one of which occurred on the front of the vehicle. Even so, no injuries have been reported as a result of the defect.
The problem apparently stems from the fact that the mounting pads on the vehicles' steel wheels may have been faulty from the factory. In addition, the wheel mounting face on rear disc brakes may not have been installed properly. Ford will inspect the rear disc face and replace them as necessary.
