                                     ************                       NO  RESERVE                *************

HELLO AGAIN, MY NAME IS RON AND AS ALWAYS I HAVE A VERY NICE VEHICLE FOR SALE, WITH THAT BEING SAID I ENCOURAGE YOU BEFORE BIDDING TO CHECK OUT MY EBAY RATING

AS TO THE LENGTH, AND HONESTY I DESCRIBE MY VEHICLES. I AM NOT A CAR DEALER, BUT I DO LOVE TO BUY CARS, DRIVE THEM FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND THEN SELL THEM AS A HOBBY

! ANY VEHICLE I SELL YOU CAN BE ASSURED I WOULD SELL TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY !

Unfortunately this car was purchased from a good friend who's father had passed,  this was his car which he had purchased

1 year old from the owner of the lincoln mercury dealership who used to buy HIS father a new car every year... Whoosh what a story LOL
I have used this car as a daily driver for about 3 months and I have to say what a complete enjoyment....
Smooth smooth smooth,   Really you can't beat a Lincoln Mercury ride.
It has the 4.6L.engine.   And I can't say enough about the performance of this car.
Sat radio that I put in, CD changer, Leather, VERY VERY RARE CENTER CONSOLE, very cold air conditioning, just a real nice  original car
4 BRAND NEW TIRES  rims are spotless
Cons
Minor bruises that you would find on a car this age.
1 rear window operates slow.
Passenger electric seat temperamental BUT WORKS non-the-less
Other than that 100% full enjoyment

Sat radio is good for 1 month of free service

This is a no reserve auction W/ a buy it now option, reserve will be lifted on the last day regardless of price!!!

For those of you who are confused, EBAYS policy on all no resrve auctions WITH a buy it now price is as follows, the buy it now icon will automatically disappear when an initial bid is placed removing the option for someone to buy it now, so to side step this glitch, The resrve will be left in place until the last day to insure any ebayer who chooses to buy it now to do so. Thank you for your understanding

For those who have 10 or less positive feedback please communicate before bidding on this item

Translogic drives wood-burning Mercury Beaver XR-7

Sun, 31 Jul 2011

You read the title right, we're talking about the Mercury Beaver XR-7. No, Mercury never officially built a car called the beaver. This is the brainchild of upstate New Yorker Chip Beam, who owns and operates Beaver Energy, LLC. It runs on gases created by wood pellets fermented in a 2,400-degree furnace and fed to a supercharged Ford 4.6-liter V8.
By all accounts, it gets down the road just fine, and has pretty close to full power. The best part is, you can grow the fuel yourself and avoid patronizing big oil, if that's your thing. The only drawback that we can see to the Mercury Beaver XR-7 is the PVC pipe jungle occupying the space that would be the trunk under normal circumstances.
Still, if you're willing to smell like a mountain man and look like a bad Back to the Future knockoff, this ride is right up your alley. Click past the jump to see Translogic's take on this modified Merc.

The AM37 is literally the Aston Martin of boats

Wed, Sep 28 2016

While sports car companies such as Porsche and Lamborghini are looking to SUVs to expand their offerings, Aston Martin has taken a page from Mercedes and designed a boat. Specifically, it's a 37-foot powerboat appropriately named the AM37. The boat was developed with help from Mulder Design and Quintessence Yachts, and is available in two different versions, both of which should the aquatic equivalent of Aston Martin performance. The standard AM37 is available with two different pairs of engines from Mercury, either 370-horsepower diesel engines or 450-horsepower gas engines. If that's not enough, Aston also offers the AM37S, which comes with a pair of 520-horsepower gasoline Mercury engines. Like road-going Astons, this boat is absolutely gorgeous. The lines are simple, crisp and clean. It features a beautiful wood deck, and an impressive double-curved, single-piece glass windshield. And if you get tired of the sun, the AM37 features a powered, carbon fiber bimini top. The interior completes the package with a carbon fiber dashboard, lots of leather and polished steering wheel, throttle and joystick. It's also incredibly well-equipped with seating for eight, air conditioning, mood lighting, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, a bed that folds out from the table, and even a bathroom. Aston Martin didn't release pricing or availability for the AM37. However, we suspect that if you really want this boat and have the means, pricing doesn't matter, and you're probably willing to wait. Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.
