This is a one of a kind custom-built Mercedes Sprinter with seating capacity ofup to 17 passengers + driver and a separate luggage compartment. this is aunique seating configuration designed from the ground up to allow maximumseating capacity, in total luxury, while still having ample luggage space in theback. The seats and interior luggage racks were imported from Italy and offerplenty of leg room and extra storage space. the luggage racks come equipped withindividual reading lights. this vehicle was built on the heavy duty passengerversion of the 3500 chassis, which offers maximum weight allowance of its classwhile still providing a comfortable ride, which the passenger version offers vs.the cargo version. This vehicle was first put in service in Feb 2012 brand newbut was registered as 2011 since it was a 2011 left over. this vehicle wascustom-designed by and purchased directly from Prestige Mercedes in Manhattan.it has been in Florida ever since and has never seen snow or rough terrain. Allmaintenance was done at the dealership and all records are available. Mercedes S-Class Magic Body Control ad is clucking awesome
Tue, 24 Sep 2013This is a new ad from Mercedes-Benz. At no point does it show an automobile. Instead, it stars animals, but not the sort you might normally see in car commercial. This ad is all about chickens. It is bizarre, to say the least, with Diana Ross and the Supremes belting it out in the background, but it all kind of comes together when you realize just what Mercedes is hawking (yeah, pun intended).
It's for the manufacturer's Magic Body Control, found on the new S-Class. The system basically analyzes the road and prepares the suspension accordingly, leading to a ride that is, in the words of our own Chris Paukert "nothing short of spooky." Piloting an 8,500-pound motorized house down the highway is far from my idea of fun, yet inexplicably, I'm enjoying myself. My grin has nothing to do with my camper's handling, as this heavily accoutered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter drives like a 25-foot long breadbox. My smile has nothing to do with on-road stability, as the ten-foot-tall, slab-sided vehicle reacts to wind gusts like the vertical stabilizer on a Boeing jet. My delight has nothing to do with its throttle or braking response, either, as both are as numb as your forehead after the eighth beer.
This monstrosity makes me happy for one reason - my passengers are undeniably having a good time.
