For more pictures email at: brigettebppancoast@ukfamilies.com . This car is near perfect with an unblemished history. Easily one of the very nicest SL55's in the country.
This SL55 was built at the separate Mercedes-Benz AMG facility where every aspect of the car was hand assembled and
upgraded over the standard SL500 production car. Including the Alcantara suede headliner, hand stitched leather
dash, door panels, center console and instrument panel.
The motor itself was assembled by one master engine builder who signed a plate which was affixed to the top of the
supercharger. Virtually every major component on this car is vastly superior to the standard product SL500
including the massive 4 piston brake calipers, high performance suspension, AMG driveline upgrades and more.
The motor is a 5.5 liter Supercharged V8 which produces 493 bhp and 516 ft/lbs of torque. It is a beast wrapped in
velvet! Massive Supercar performance with amazing refinements and luxury that you would expect from the
Mercedes-Benz AMG specialty car build site.
Which would you rather own, a replica clone or some re-creation that was cobbled together from inferior parts or a
genuine AMG which is the result of hundreds of millions of dollars in development? The Mercedes-Benz AMG SL55's
were very limited in production as compared with the standard SL500 and will be sought after in the coming years as
a collectible, especially one as well equipped as this, with these few miles and in near perfect condition as this
car.
This car comes with a Platinum Warranty Included with Zero Deductible.. just sign your name. (This is no ordinary
warranty.) This warranty covers everything except wearables (tires, brakes). It will be transferred to the next
owner.
The warranty is good at any Mercedes-Benz dealership in the U.S. or any reputable independent repair shop. It is
in place until either the expiration date of 11/14/2016 or 81,728 miles.. which ever comes first.
I am the second owner of the car, this car has ALWAYS been garaged and babied in Sarasota, Florida it's entire
life. Always serviced and kept in perfect order.. no exception.
All services have been kept up to date and even the smallest issue was repaired/replaced immediately.
Only two very finicky owners. No paint work of any kind. No accidents or any damage ever. Never smoked in.
It has always been kept detailed in show condition at all times it's entire life.
This car is absolutely a gem.. Brand new tires just put on less than 50 miles ago . The wheels are 20" Lorinser
LM5 2 piece chromes. None of the wheels have any scrapes or marks at all.
No suspension alteration.. everything else on the car is factory. Options include: Keyless Go, Parktronic,
Disctronic, Panorama glass roof (with interior shade), Active Ventilated seats, Bi-Xenon Headlamps, Tire-Pressure
Monitoring System. Original sticker of $125,745.
I have not seen many SL55's come with the Panorama glass roof and it makes a very striking difference with the
contrast from the silver exterior. It makes the car stand out from all the rest and is commented on all the time,
as well as the wheels. The wheels were $2,500 each when bought new and they are in near perfect condition.
When you consider the warranty still in place, the high end wheels, panorama roof and all the other very desirable
option's this car has it is in a class all to it's own over other SL55's available for sale. The warranty alone
should be worth thousands for the peace of mind and understanding that NOTHING has ever been let go because of
cost. Even the tiniest issue has been instantly handled since day one with this car.
This is truly an exceptional car in every way. It is as close to PERFECT as you can get!

The most or nothing: Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet pushes the luxury limits

Wed, Nov 16 2016

After the introduction of the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster at the Paris Motor Show this fall, we informed you that Mercedes-Benz has a convertible conundrum, a surplus of drop-tops that seemingly threatens to self-cannibalize within the brand's ever-proliferating lineup. Benz's head of design, Gorden Wagener, who spends much of his time in Southern California, argues it's not a problem: Each convertible, in its ideal construction, would intrinsically vanquish any issues. "The bad is the enemy of the good," he said, not exactly quoting Nietzsche. Now, the three-pointed star brand has upped the top-down ante, with the unveiling this week at the Los Angeles auto show of the Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet, a vehicle so opulent, it sits in price and position atop the uber-luxury brand's current top-of-the-line offering, the $247,900 Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet. View 24 Photos "Mercedes-AMG is our performance brand so it's all about performance stuff," says Wagener in a one-on-one interview on the roof of a Beverly Hills mansion just before the new car is unveiled. "Of course, Maybach has power, too, but it's the ultimate in luxury. So it's more on that side. And for me in the interior, it's the haute couture of the automobile, so we tried to up that a little more with details. And on the exterior, it's a more superb appearance up front, more chrome, more rich, and of course we tried to up that branding even more. The S-Class is the best car in the world, we consider, I always thought we could raise the Mercedes brand. And it's the same with the S convertible." Why does Mercedes-Benz need a flagship atop its flagship? Because, when climbing the mountain of automotive luxury there is always the customer who, when he or she reaches the pinnacle, wants more. A car brand, especially one with deep pockets and luxurious heritage like Mercedes, can always further gild the automotive lilies, creating a step up for those for whom the brand's motto, The Best or Nothing, is a literal life credo. "It's always our job to make it better," Wagener says. "Each little detail, the wood, the wood under cover of the cabriolet, the leathers. All the super luxury details that make a luxury car into a super luxury car. The key is to make a modern luxury design and not a traditional luxury design. There is definitely a market for traditional luxury, but we always wanted to have Mercedes, Maybach in particular, as a modern luxury car.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is the ultimate safari machine

Mon, Feb 13 2017

Update: A Mercedes representative has informed us that the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet will not be available in the United States. The text has been updated to reflect this. Vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 and G500 4x42 are all well and good, but they have one key issue: They simply aren't extravagant enough. Now we know that sounds insane because one of those vehicles has six driven wheels and the other is available in tennis-ball green. But they must not be decadent enough because Mercedes went a step further with the new Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet. While the most obvious change here is the soft-top, which will make this perfect for the wealthy to view wildlife on private safaris, we should start under the hood. The previous two monster G-Wagens made do with lowly V8s. This one features a twin-turbocharged V12 making 630 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Like its predecessors, this G650 uses a four-wheel-drive system with front, center, and rear differential locks, and sends power to solid portal axles front and rear. These axles move the differential and drive axles above the wheel centers for additional ground clearance. Inside, the rear passengers will be in the lap of luxury, even while the driver is navigating particularly harsh terrain. The soft top can be electrically raised or lowered, as can a glass partition to the driver's compartment. The two individual rear seats can be fully reclined, and leg rests deploy from below, taking full advantage of the truck's long wheelbase. This would likely make for an amazing vehicle for stargazing. The passengers also have access to folding tables, 10-inch LCD displays, and heated, cooled, and illuminated cup holders. Only 99 of these G650s will be built. Mercedes will show the SUV at this year's Geneva show, and it will hit the market this fall. Mercedes hasn't announced pricing, but expect it to be exorbitant. Not that matters for American buyers, since a Mercedes representative told us it won't be offered in the States. For buyers in countries where the G650 will be available, they will have the option of four interior color schemes, three soft-top colors, and four paint hues. Related Video:
