You are bidding on one of the nicest examples of the SL 560 you will find anywhere. This is a 3 owner car with only 41,800 miles. This car is in outstanding condition inside and out. The car has a clean CarFax history and has never had any paint work all original paint from 1988 in near perfect condition. The interior trim shows like new. The engine compartment, trunk, door jambs and underbody are very clean. This car has no rust anywhere and as never seen a winter and rarely seen rain. The car has been stored most of it's life inside a heated storage building. The owner even kept detailed records as to when the car was started when in storage.
The only signs of wear are as follows: tires show wear, 1 wheel has small 3" curb rash, couple small stone chips on the fenders, and some small scratches around the drivers door handle area. I have included a pic of the scratches on the drivers door.
The car comes with the original factory hard top with cover and storage rack. I have all original books manuals tags and 3 sets of keys.
Many service records go with the car. The vehicle has had a new battery, wheel alignment and tune up inc new spark plugs all since 2012.

Mercedes to market Tesla-powered 2014 B-Class EV in U.S.
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Looks like another Tesla Motors investor will be looking to cash in on their connection. Autoweek reports Mercedes-Benz will offer their B-Class in the U.S. with Tesla propulsion.
The magazine says their source at the German automaker confirms plans for a B-Class electric-only vehicle. While Tesla already provides battery packs for the battery-powered Smart ForTwo, the B-Class EV will reportedly have Tesla batteries, motor and other components. U.S. residents should be able to procure one sometime in 2014.
The same Mercedes source says plans for a hybrid B-Class have been postponed for now. Adding a range-extending, gasoline-powered engine to an electric vehicle would put the car into a different class for which rebates and incentives aren't as favorable in the States.

Boston bombers were tracked using Mercedes mbrace [w/video]
Sun, 28 Apr 2013We now know Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the two brothers said to be behind the Boston Marathon bombings, planned to head for New York City to detonate more improvised explosive devices. As it turns out, that plan was foiled by the quick thinking of one Mercedes-Benz owner, diligent police work and the Mercedes-Benz mbrace system. When the brothers carjacked a 26-year-old Chinese entrepreneur identified only as "Danny," they didn't realize his Mercedes-Benz M-Class was equipped with the mbrace system, which can call for help in the event of an accident or track the vehicle in the event of a theft.
According to reports, the Tsarnaev brothers held Danny hostage for nearly 90 minutes while they drove around Boston forming a plan until they had to stop for fuel. When one of the brothers went inside to pay, the other put his gun down for a moment. Danny took the opportunity to unlatch his seat belt, open the door and run to another nearby gas station, where he told the owner to call the police.
When police arrived, they used the mbrace system to track the SUV after receiving Danny's permission, and it wasn't long before a shootout between police and the brothers ensued.
