EXTREMELY NICE ORIGINAL 1985 MERCEDES 380SL CONVERTIBLE.2 OWNER CALIFORNIA CAR.IT WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW AT THE HOUSE OF IMPORTS IN BUENA PARK.I DO HAVE ALL THE BOOKS,MANUALS,AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS.2 ORIGINAL FACTORY KEYS.THE CAR JUST PASSED SMOG WITH GREAT READINGS.THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS JUST REPLACED AS IT WAS NECESSARY TO PASS SMOG.THE CAR RUNS PERFECTLY.IT IS SO SMOOTH AND QUIET,YOU CAN HARDLY HEAR IT RUN.THE CAR DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD PERFECTLY.NO PLAY IN THE STEERING.TRANSMISSION SHIFTS IN ALL GEARS PROPERLY.BRAKES AND SUSPENSION ARE INCREDIBLY SURE FOOTED.IT WOULD MAKE ANY KIND DRIVE WITH NO PROBLEMS.CLIMATE CONTROL FOR A/C AND HEATING OPERATE VERY WELL.IT DOES HAVE ANT-LOCK BRAKES.THIS IS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE 380SL MODEL,SO IT CAME STANDARD WITH THE HEAVY DUTY DUAL TIMING CHAIN. THE PAINT IS METALLIC BLACK,CODE #199,WHICH MANY CALL PEARL BLACK.IT IS VERY RARE FOR THE 1985 MODEL. IT BECAME A STANDARD COLOR IN THE 560SL MODELS.GORGEOUS PAINT.YOU WON'T FIND MUCH OF ANY DEFECTS ON THE CAR.NO RUST.NO ACCIDENTS.ALWAYS KEPT INSIDE.I HAVE THE MATCHING HARDTOP.IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE.PERFECT HEADLINER. PALOMINO INTERIOR IS SUPER CLEAN AND IN AMAZING CONDITION,ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN DONE TO IT.IT STILL LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT DID WHEN IT WAS 2-3 YEARS OLD.NICE ORIGINAL DASH.SEATS HAVE NO WEAR.STAIN-FREE CARPETS.IT ALSO HAS A NICE BLACK CANVAS CONVERTIBLE TOP.NICE REAR WINDOWS YOU CAN STILL SEE THROUGH PERFECTLY.NO WEAR MARKS ON THE CANVAS. BUMPERS,INCLUDING THE STAINLESS AND RUBBERS, HAVE ALMOST NO WEAR.THE REST OF THE TRIM ON THE CAR ARE IN MATCHING CONDITION.ORIGINAL CHROME MERCEDES RIMS ARE IN SUPER SHAPE.NO FADING OR PITTING. 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupe

Mercedes-Benz upgraded its SLS flagship Coupe and Roadster for the 2013 model year, and the changes are marked with them new "GT" nomenclature. Both SLS models arrive with a retuned naturally aspired 6.2-liter V8 delivering 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque (the horses are up from 563, but the torque remains the same) mated to a revised seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch gearbox. Rounding out the mechanical upgrades is a redeveloped AMG two-mode adaptive suspension. Physically, the revised models are differentiated by their new "GT" badging, darkened headlight/taillight buckets, red brake calipers, unique wheel colors and high gloss finish on the front grille, exterior mirrors and hood/fender fins. Inside the cabin are new red seatbelts, Alcantara upholstery and contrasting red stitching.
As it is nearly impossible to experience the aluminum gullwing beast on public roads, Mercedes invited out to Southern California's Willow Springs to wring out the 2013 SLS GT Coupe on a racing circuit.

Mon, 11 Mar 2013The entry-level Mercedes-Benz C-Class has long felt like nothing more than, well, just that. Aside from the potent and delicious C63 AMG models, there hasn't been much to set the C-Class apart in the entry-level luxury/sport segment, leading to the model being regarded by many as "The Cheap Mercedes." No, it's certainly not a bad car, but for our money, it hasn't stood up particularly well to competitors like the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4.
So with the handsome new CLA-Class coming to round off the entry-level end for Mercedes-Benz, big plans are in store for the C-Class. We can see some evidence of that in this latest set of spy shots from our friends at CarPix. According to earlier reports, the new C-Class will be "far more dramatic" in the visuals department, and while the sedan's sculpting is still covered by camo, the much sleeker headlamp design we see here is, at the very least, a good start. The car's overall size is expected to grow a bit to further distance itself from the CLA, though thanks to lightweight materials, curb weight isn't expected to increase.
Just like the current model, the new C-Class is expected to use four- and six-cylinder engines, both gas- and diesel-fed, and overall power output for the global engine range should span from 120-ish on the low end to as much as 330. These new engines are expected to be mounted lower and farther rearward than before, offering better balance for both rear- and 4Matic all-wheel drive configurations. And as for that AMG? Rumors suggest a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 will fall underhood.
