I am selling my 2005 G55 AMG with 65,068 miles on it. It has the designo package with the head rest have the designo logo on them. This G wagon is a one of a kind and doesnt compare to any thing else out there. It is in immaculate condition. I have kept it in the garage. The interior is stock, except for the integrated radar system. The exterior is all custom, starting with the head lights and fog lights and day light LED running lights. The head lights and fog lights are xenon lights. All work was done professionally using genuine parts from Brabus. The rear tire was shaved off and has tail lights from 2012 G Wagon. Also has custom 20' wheels by ART. The ride is smooth with these wheels. There were LED lights installed in the running boards and under the mirrors, which light up very nicely at night and isnt over powering. The lights are very suttle and dont look tacky.This G Wagon is a real head turner and always stands out. The motor runs great, the ride is smooth and it sounds great. I did not have any tuning done to the motor, it is the stock Supercharged AMG motor and exaust that came on the car. All the custom work cost me roughly $40,000. This G Wagon is fully loaded with heated seats and steering wheel, everything is power operated and has a sun roof. I had it serviced 1000 miles ago. The tires are new with 95% tread life left. The truck has no dings and dents. I have barely used the truck since I bought it.

Mercedes-Benz USA considering moving south

Mercedes-Benz may be a German automaker first and foremost, but it's a global operation. Among its many offices around the world, the company employs some 800 staffers at its US headquarters in New Jersey. But that office could be moving down South in the near future. According to reports in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal and Automotive News, Mercedes is looking into relocating its American head office from Montvale, NJ, where it's been based since 1972, to one of several locations under consideration below the Mason-Dixon line. Among the front-runners is Atlanta, where Porsche bases its North American operations. The presence of a trained workforce, necessary infrastructure, compliant officials and proximity to a major hub for international air traffic could make the Georgian metropolis an attractive proposition for Mercedes. Several locations in North Carolina are also said to be under consideration, as well. Either way, MBUSA's relocation to the South would put it closer to its assembly plant in Tuscaloosa, AL, and to the Port of Brunswick near Savannah from which it ships out those vehicles made in Alabama to points overseas. The relocation project is reportedly being handled by commercial real-estate firm JLL Inc, which is helping Toyota handle its relocation from southern California and Ohio to Texas. Sources don't expect, however, for New Jersey to let Mercedes go without a fight. The state's Grow NJ Assistance Program could offer MBUSA an attractive incentives package to stay in Montvale. The company previously planned in 1998 to relocate to Pearl River, NY, but ultimately ended up staying in Jersey. The all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, designated W222, is one of the most highly anticipated debuts of its model year. Every generation of the flagship sedan has broken new ground in technology and innovation for the entire industry, and the German automaker appears determined to raise the bar much further with its latest arrival as it promises to deliver "the best automobile in the world." Mercedes-Benz has just released nearly two dozen interior images of the new sedan, showing off style in design, craftsmanship in execution and pioneering advancements in technology.
Unlike all previous generations - the first S-Class officially arrived in 1972 - the 2014 model completely discards a traditional instrument cluster and replaces it with two high-resolution color displays in 8:3 format with a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches (the outgoing model's gauges were a mix of digital and analog). The left unit displays traditional analog gauges (digitally, of course) while the right unit is reserved for infotainment and comfort settings with the automaker's all-new mBrace2 - a cloud-based entertainment and information delivery system that is rolling out this year.
