See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"Typical wear and tear for a car with such low miles but overall in excellent condition. I purchased this car 1 year ago with 8 months remaining on the original warranty and i made sure the vehicle was working flawlessly by having it serviced by EuroMotors in Devon, PA. a local mercedes dealer. I also have 3 years and roughly 45,000 miles left on an aftermarket warranty that Mercedes themselves recommended to me which is transferable to a new owner. This vehicle is a 3 car owner but with time left on the original warranty and the addittional warranty that i purchased, i wasnt worried about that whatsoever."

This car is in near new condition. Tires are newer, never been smoked in that I am aware of and has pretty much every option that this vehicle could have such as: dual climate control, bluetooth, paddle-shifters, heated and cooled seats, navigation and so on.

I have added some minor updates to the vehicle which makes most people think that this car is a 2013 model.
I had the roof painted a high gloss black to give it a panoramic roof look which only the newest Mercedes vehicles have ($1,900)
I had the diffuser painted matte black and added a lip spoiler to make the car resemble the CLS 63.
My intentions were to keep this vehicle for many years which is why I purchased a 4 year or 80,000 mile warranty in addition to the existing factory warranty that it already had but after owning it for 1 year I have only driven her roughly 1,000 miles.
We have a new addition to our family so putting a baby in the back seat wasn't really practical.
There is a note on this vehicle which has to be satisfied before completion of vehicle transfer.
Form of payment accepted is Cashiers Check, Money Order or Cash.
Deposit of $1,000 dollars due at end of auction and the balance within 7 days or sooner when the bank note is ready to be satisfied.

Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating

Mon, Aug 6 2018

Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.

Mercedes harkens back to tortoise and hare for AMG GT Super Bowl spot

Tue, Jan 27 2015

With just six automakers scheduled as advertisers during this year's Super Bowl, they sure aren't trying to keep things a surprise ahead of the kick off. After already teasing its spot days ago, Mercedes-Benz is the latest to fully reveal a minute-long commercial for the game. The whimsical ad modernizes Aesop's age-old fable about the race between the tortoise and the hare with a dose of muscle from the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S. The spot, titled Fable, starts exactly as you would expect, with a forest full of animals congregating to watch the boastful hare race the steady tortoise. Although, this race apparently takes place in Germany because the turtle eventually stumbles upon the AMG factory and its latest twin-turbocharged sports coupe. The commercial isn't quite as gripping as Mercedes' 2013 Super Bowl ad for the CLA-Class with Kate Upton and Willem Dafoe as the devil, but the new one might be an opportunity for much of the audience to see the GT for the first time. See for yourself, above.

EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi

Sun, 25 Nov 2012

EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
You'll find the verdicts, lots of tire smoke, and lines like "Anything you can do sideways I can do sideways" in the video below.
