I am selling my LATE BUILD 2008  CL65 --- it was built in Dec of 2008 and has parking and blind side guidance system

Picture taking is not my forte--- I am not good at taking them....I can assure you this car gets more attention then my previous GTR Blue chrome wrapped or 599 Ferrari DID ALL DAY Long--- it is a very very exotic color and very exotic look when on the road...not to mention it is very very fast and as comfortable as a G6 minus the turbulance of course..... this car is basically flawless and driven only on the weekends and not for regular use.....

I am selling this car to partner in a new Forbes 500 COMPANY--- OTHERWISE I would not give this car away for less then what I have in it at the moment.....

The CONDITION OF THIS CAR IS new   new   new   new  --- 50k plus miles is nothing on a 200k car ... it smells new... runs new and even has zero wear on any part of the interior and the exterior ....it is a new car with the warranty that comes with it...PERIOD

A AMG SEAT COVER stays on the front seat-- the car is garage kept all the time and nobody has been in the backseat and i rarely take passengers...

ONLY 8 CL65'S were built with the TITANIUM GREY PAINT-- THIS WAS A CL ONLY paint option and was discontinued due to the cost of the process after 2008

The color changes in the light from light grey to dark grey to purple and is EXTREMELY GORGEOUS... I will not own a black CL65 or a white one...I wanted a silver or this color directly--- black ruins the lines and white is too commercial in nature without a pearl for a $200k car... It took me almost 6 months to wait for this car to come up for sale in this color combo.... yes 6 months of waiting

Less then 350 CL65's were built in 2008 and less then 1200 have ever built since the newer body style was introduced in 2007

MSRP was $208,000

BUYERS-- A CL65 is the PINNACLE of a AMG-- no OTHER AMG is even in the same realm as for as looks and comfort and performance-
I have owned them all and none are as cool and as fresh in appearance and as incredible to drive and to own

The 65 comes fully loaded... the only options this car has is a Black Alcantra headliner and dark Burl wood trim
The car is equipped with the Distronic Plus and night vision which again is a standard feature on a 65 model

-------What I added to the car when I purchased it:

*A full bumper to bumper 4 year 60k mile warranty FULLY transferable to new owner ---This warranty is without a doubt much better then any CPO warranty as a CPO warranty is only is good for 1 year after the factory warranty expires-- yes just one year-- but this CL65 is covered for 4 more years and to 110k miles
The cost of this warranty was $9800- Yes you can price it out yourself- it is that expensive
*Professionally lowered which still enables the car to rise for parking spots $450
*Rear Splitter Carbon Fiber $500
*New custom ADV wheels with Michelin SS tires $8400
*NEW front rotors and rear rotors and pads $5200

**** Almost $30,000 WAS INVESTED IN THIS CAR*****

SMART PEOPLE WILL SEE -----If you finance this car then u only pay $150.00 a month extra for everything done to this car...
Its called a turnkey purchase and the best deal on ebay period....

Please call me at 954-850-5429 for any questions

Hollywood stars drink hydrogen B-Class F-Cell emission water in Death Valley [UPDATE]

Tue, Feb 4 2014

A plug-in electric vehicle can be used to power a house during a winter storm, but if you're more worried about the heat of, say, Death Valley, then maybe you'll want a Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-Cell along. That's the message of a new video from Daimler and starring Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds) and Joshua Jackson (Fringe) that promotes the company's hydrogen-powered car. The gist? You can drink the tailpipe emissions. The two Hollywood stars drove in Death Vally without any water in their F-Cell but had a special tank hooked up to the tailpipe to collect the H2O drips as they drove in 100+ degree temperatures. There's a reason these two actors were chosen, since they've been driving an F-Cell in their daily lives for two years, according to the Diamler press release. The text is, shall we say, a bit hyperbolic - "Their lives rely on the emissions of the B-Class F-CELL" it says, totally ignoring the film crew that is obviously along for the ride and more than likely had a few bottles with them. Also, when the California Fuel Cell Partnership promoted the same idea a few years ago, it clarified that, "A fuel cell doesn't produce enough water to fill your glass. ... If fact, fuel cells produce about the same amount of water as gasoline vehicle – about 1/3 cup for a full day of driving." Thus, this whole thing is a Hollywood stunt, but it's a visually effective one. See for yourself in the mini-movie below. UPDATE: Daimler has told AutoblogGreen that there was no "extra Hollywood magic" needed for the water collected in the video. Instead, Madeleine Herdlitschka, who works at global communications for Mercedes-Benz Cars, said, "Considering the technical characteristics, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-CELL emits about 9 kg of water vapor per kg of hydrogen while driving. The vehicle has a hydrogen capacity of about 3.7 kg, what is sufficient for a max. of about 400 km of range. A tailor-made construction, designed by the production company Markenfilm Crossing in cooperation with our fuel cell experts, made it possible to collect the water in a tank - previously cooling the vapor with a specially designed pipe system." The hottest modern sports cars rendered as rally racers

Thu, Jan 14 2016

The modern-day World Rally Championship a monumental amount of fun to watch – I should know, as I recently was lucky enough to head to the UK to watch WRC Wales Rally GB – but even the most monstrous of the current WRC cars are based on fairly pedestrian European hatchbacks. Back in the heyday of rally, the Group B era in the 1980s, much hotter cars were the basis of even more incredible competition machines, for the most part. Take the exotic Ford RS200, or the Lancia Delta S4 with its twin-charged engine. And the hatchback-based Group B cars were bonkers, too. So what would some of our favorite modern cars look like if Group B had never ended? A British site named CarWow hired an artist to reimagine everything from the Rolls-Royce Wraith to the Porsche 911 as a retro-inspired rally car, and they were kind enough to let us share the results in the gallery above. The gallery features an Alfa Romeo Giulia in Martini livery, an Audi TT in classic Ur-Quattro colors, a Fiat 500 Abarth sporting massive flares and a hood blister full of auxiliary lights, a new Ford Mustang in RS200 livery, a Lancia Delta in Alitalia colors, a Porsche 911 in Rothmans livery, a Renault-Alpine in classic blue, a Rolls-Royce Wraith tribute to the Jules cologne Corniche Coupe, and a relatively modern-looking VW Touran. So far, the favorite around the office is the incredible Mercedes-Benz S-Class that is an homage to the wonderful 300 SEL 6.8 AMG "Red Pig" that essentially put AMG on the map. Check out the gallery above and see which one you like the best. Related Video:

Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating

Mon, Aug 6 2018

Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.
