EXTREMELY RARE ONE OF A KIND!

2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Black Series

White exterior, black alcantara interior with red stitching, red seat belts and red performance calipers. This vehicle has every option offered by Mercedes; including track pack and aero pack. There are only 800 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Black Series world wide of which only 30 have been delivered to Canada. This is the only C63 Black Series with this color combination and every option possible in Canada. This vehicle has been extremely well maintained, never seen rain or snow. Full service by Mercedes Benz; all maintenance and oil change done June 9, 2013. Only 8,300km's (5,012 miles).

The C63 AMG Black series has a 6.3L, V8 engine with max output, 517 hp at 6800 rpm and 457 lb-ft at 5200, 0-100 km/h in 4.2s. Like cars with the Development Pack, the Black Series borrows its pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft from the be-gull winged SLS AMG supercar. (And like previous Black Series cars, the C63 will sound downright nasty.) Behind the motor lives the same seven-speed automatic found in the regular C63, packing four shift modes and a launch-control function.

Flared fenders widen the car by 2.2 inches up front and 3.3 out back, covering tracks stretched by 1.6 and 3.1 inches, respectively. AMG Aerodynamics package includes; carbon-fiber winglets on the front valance and a fixed carbon-fiber spoiler with an adjustable aerofoil.  There are also aerodynamic vents behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear. The black lightweight wheels at each corner have their movements controlled by adjustable coil-over’s, while speed-sensitive steering issues directional orders and Black Series–specific anti-roll bars maintain the contact patches during aggressive driving. The brake rotors measure 15.4 inches in diameter up front and 14.2 inches out back. The red performance calipers have six pistons up front and four in the rear.  The C63 Black Series other major option package is a Track pack that includes even higher-performance Dunlop pedigree rubber, as well as a differential cooler. These new rubbers measures 255/35-19 up front and 285/30-19 out back. A limited-slip diff is standard, as is a stability-control system.

This is truly a one of a kind vehicle. It is a very unique and extremely rare super car. It will most definitely stand out amongst other high end cars.

Legitimate buyers will have the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and spend the afternoon in the VIP lounge with catered lunch at one of the finest race tracks in Canada.

Mercedes says it's tops in luxury sales for 2012, not BMW

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

It turns out that Mercedes-Benz North America has legitimate claim to being the top selling luxury nameplate in the US in 2012.
While sources such as Autodata had put BMW in the top spot, registration data from R.L. Polk shows that Mercedes customers registering new vehicles topped the Bavarian automaker in the most recent calendar year. Polk says Benz posted 274,123 registrations, compared with BMW's 268,498.
In terms of sales posted, BMW had bested Benz 281,460 to 274,134. But sales are recorded somewhat inconsistently from automaker to automaker. Some book the sales as soon as they are shipped from factory to dealer. There is perennial gamesmanship between the two German rivals, and the sales numbers suggest that BMW pushed out some extra sheetmetal to dealers in the last four weeks of the year.

Mercedes GLE to debut in NY, will get plug-in variant

Mon, Jan 12 2015

On the eve of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler AG, said that 2015 will be the "Year of the SUV" at Mercedes-Benz. This means a host of new and updated sport-utility and crossover models, kicked off with the debut of the GLE-Class Coupe (pictured above) – in 450 AMG Sport and Mercedes-AMG GLE63 variants – here in the Motor City. But there's far more in store throughout the year. First, Mercedes has confirmed it will debut the non-coupe GLE-Class – the M-Class replacement – at the New York Auto Show in April. It will share most of its architecture with the GLE Coupe revealed here in Detroit, but will also come with a plug-in hybrid option. Mercedes-Benz debuted an S-Class Plug-In Hybrid at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and will expand this technology to other core models in its range. First, we will see the C350 Plug-In Hybrid, which also makes its debut here in Detroit. Beyond that, Mercedes has confirmed that the GLE-Class will benefit from a plug-in option, as will the upcoming GLC-Class crossover – the renamed replacement for the GLK. No official timing has been given for the GLC, but Mercedes confirms that both it and its largest utility vehicle – the GLS-Class (currently known as the GL-Class) – will debut "later this year." Year of the SUV, indeed. Race Recap: 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix is Magyar for 'What a race!'

Mon, Jul 27 2015

Every driver on the Formula 1 grid dreams of taking home the silverware, but only one driver each year can do it. Barring disaster in 2015 it looks like it's going to be Lewis Hamilton. The Brit has been so dominating at the front of the grid on Saturday, we can't see how he'll miss out on winning the second annual FIA Pole Position Trophy. That's the accolade introduced last season in another manufactured attempt to give drivers something to work for on Saturday, since the FIA felt leading into the first corner didn't have the pull it used to. Hamilton took his ninth pole of the season in Hungary for Mercedes-AMG Petronas with a crushing lap that put him almost six tenths ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg in second. All Hamilton needs is one more spot at the top of the grid this season, and he's the Pole Position trophy winner. Thrilling stuff. Behind Rosberg the gaps stayed smaller, Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari a little more than a tenth behind Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing less than four one-hundredths behind Vettel. We feel almost as vexed watching Kimi Raikkonen as he feels driving – he's finally got a good Ferrari, now he can't get a good weekend. The front wing broke on his car in Free Practice 1, then a water leak in Free Practice 3 robbed him of setup time on the soft tire. He lines up in fifth about two tenths behind Ricciardo. The slow, tight Hungaroring didn't agree with the Williams chassis, Valtteri Bottas the first of the Grove team drivers in sixth, his teammate Felipe Massa two places back. Between them is Daniil Kvyat in the second Red Bull in seventh. Teenager Max Verstappen put in a good showing in the Toro Rosso to grab ninth, while Romain Grosjean in a wriggling, squishy, sliding Lotus classified his appearance in Q3 at all as "a miracle." As for the race that followed, we don't expect to see another like it for a long time – it was the real thrilling stuff, one shock after another. The drama began after the first parade lap, when Felipe Massa lined up out of position and the start was aborted. The drivers did another parade lap, then lined up with everyone in place. Mercedes got swamped as soon as the lights went out. Vettel ran around both of them and led the race into the first turn, Raikkonen had come from fifth to third by Turn 1, then got the inside line on Rosberg through Turn 2 to take second place.
