No accidents. Never been smoked in. All service records are available from my dealership. Title in hand. Tires are very recent with almost no wear. My wife just bought me custom coconut fibre racing mats for my birthday in July. The stereo is actually a custom Alpine CD Player for MB for the European SLK market with Bose multi speakers including subwoofer. Included also is the original US cassette deck stereo. A 6 disk CD changer in the trunk. As you can see from the pics the car is very, very clean with the usual little nicks and scratches you would expect. The wheels have some scratches that you can't see in pics and the tint needs refreshing. Other than that, it LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!"

SUPER FAST classic. & rare. The prices seem to be going up. I just bought a new car and  I must sell my beloved AMG, so make me an offer!!

I bought this car as certified pre owned in 2006 from the same MB dealer as the 1st owner and I have lovingly maintained it ever since.  No accidents. Never been smoked in.  All service up to date and  records are available from my dealership. Title in hand.

This is the most fun I've ever had in a car.  Its soooo incredibly fast! 0-60 in 4.6 sec!  You have to drive to believe!  Tires are very recent with almost no wear.  My wife just bought me custom coconut fibre racing mats for my birthday in July.  The stereo is actually a custom Alpine CD Player for MB for the European SLK market with Bose multi speakers including subwoofer and 6 disk CD changer. I have the original factory tape deck stereo as well.  As you can see from the pics the car is very clean with the usual little nicks and scratches you would expect. The wheels have some scratches that you can't see in pics and the tint needs refreshing. Other than that, it LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!

From Motor Trend:
Mercedes-Benz injected a Corvette-matching amount of horsepower (one shy, actually) into the compact dimensions of the SLK and suitably upgraded every other component in the chassis.  The transformation from country-club cute to Silver Arrow serious is as welcome as the awe-inspiring performance upgrades themselves. Topping the list of AMG magic is the SLK32's handbuilt supercharged 3.2L/349-hp, 332 lb-ft V-6. For economy, the supercharger disengages under light loads and awakens transparently when needed. Driven through a new version of AMG's SpeedShift five-speed automatic transmission that shifts 35 percent quicker than the basic one, our best 0-60-mph time was a surprising 4.62 sec, or just over a tenth quicker than the M roadster. Since the SLK32 pushes just 9.2 lb/hp of roadster around, it went on to earn the quickest quarter-mile in the eight-car test with a 13.06-sec 108.74-mph run.

Watch Evo pick its 2015 Car of the Year in this epic video

Mon, Dec 7 2015

With just a few days left in 2015, it's the perfect time to check out Evo's annual Car of the Year test to determine the greatest performance vehicle of the last 12 months. The writers' picks for the 11 finalists spanned a breadth of engaging models and included: Peugeot 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Seat Leon Cupra Sub8, McLaren 675LT, Porsche 991 GT3 RS, Porsche Cayman GT4, Honda Civic Type R, Ferrari 488 GTB, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Lotus Evora 400, and Mercedes-AMG GT S. For the venue to test the mettle of these performance machines, Evo stuck close to home this year and visited the twisting roads at the beautiful north coast of Scotland. Racing brothers Marino and Dario Franchitti also came along for the ride to provide two more voices in the competitive challenge to determine a winner. Evo's video explains why each model deserves to be among such rarified company but doesn't gloss over their faults either. There can be only one winner, though. We don't want to spoil it, so check out the clip for magnificent views of these performance machines through the Scottish countryside.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied once again

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

As evidenced by how little camouflage the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been caught wearing lately, it can't be too much longer until the car will get its official debut. In our newest shots of the yacht-sized luxo sedan, the cladding still covers up the headlights, front fascia and most of the rear end, but we finally have an almost undisguised look at the rest of the car's lines.
Considering previous spy shots had more camo that better (or fully) concealed the S-Class' body, some of the more obvious things we see in these images include the prominent grille, the CLS-Class-inspired bodyside creases, the pointed trunk opening and, most interestingly, a lack of fancy exhaust outlets. Unlike other S-Class prototypes we've seen, this car does not have integrated outlets, but it does have two pipes on the left side of the car. All current S-Class models in the US and Europe feature a dual exhaust layout on each side of the car, so while some of our questions about the car get answered, it would appear that more are just arising.

Win a car while supporting a charity this holiday season

Thu, Dec 9 2021

Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change. No donation or payment necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. See official rules on Omaze.  The leaves have fallen, there is a crispness to the air and there have already been multiple forecasts of snow, which can only mean one thing: We're coming up on Christmas. While you've been busy thinking about what kind of gifts you're going to give your loved ones, we here at Autoblog have been deciding which dream car we'd like to see in our driveway on Christmas morning. A car for Christmas does seem a bit extreme and expensive, but thanks to these Omaze sweepstakes, it doesn't have to break the bank. Here are the current sweepstakes we'd like to win this holiday season. Win a DeLorean DMC-12 - Enter at Omaze James Riswick, West Coast Editor: Let me be clear, the DeLorean is a pretty terrible car. Its speedometer doesn't even go up to the fabled 88 mph. Seriously, look at the pictures: tops out at 85. Also, who services a DeLorean? And how much would it cost to maintain one? $AlloftheMoney or just $MostoftheMoney? So owning it could be a total headache, but at least by winning one through Omaze, you'd be relieved of the financial burden of buying one in the first place. You'd also get the chance to own one of the most iconic cars of all time, one that transcends car enthusiasm and is instantly recognizable by everyone as the "Back to the Future" car. Plus, "everyone" doesn't know that the DeLorean was actually a pretty terrible car. So, I already own James Bond's car from 1995, why not Doc Brown's from 1985? Win a 2021 Bentley Bentayga V8 - Enter at Omaze Eddie Sabatini, Production Manager: Why am I choosing a +$200K Bentley SUV? Because even if I could afford one I'd never be able to wrap my head around spending money on one. So why not try to win one by donating what I can afford to a good cause? I first saw the Bentley Bentayga up close and personal at the Frankfurt Motor Show (I forget which year but I'll never forget this SUV). And although it looks like the Bentayga Omaze is offering up doesn't have the opulent tailgate setup I fell in love with when I saw it in Frankfurt, I'd still enter to win. Win a 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda - Enter at Omaze Byron Hurd, Editor: Few automotive marketing efforts stick out in my head more than the Mercedes-Benz holiday spots and magazine placements.
