This car is in excellent condition with minor wear that one would expect on a vehicle with 25,000 miles. Detailed pictures are available upon request. The car is a smoke-free vehicle and the interior and exterior are excellent. There is some wear on the driver's seat bolster. The floor mats are new OEM mats and both batteries have been replaced. The chrome, trim, and brightwork are all excellent as is the glass. The paint shows some minor stone bruises as can be expected with any car that has been driven 25,000 miles. The listed mileage is as of4/23/2014 and may change slightly prior to the end of the auction. Just in time for summer cruising with the top down in this beautiful convertible. This car is an amazing combination of extreme luxury and track worthy power. The AMG Aerodynamics provide an aggressive look and the suspension and braking are excellent. Sunday Drive: And now for something completely different
Sun, Dec 17 2017This past week played host to a wide assortment of automotive news, highlighted by our first drive of the 2018 Volvo XC40. The Swedish crossover is targeted at young, successful Millennials, but it offers cool styling, fun dynamics, and all of today's must-have technology, so we think it ought to appeal to a much wider swath of the automotive marketplace. From there we answer the question, "What are hard on the outside and soft on the inside?" as we take a look at the next Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. We expect the German automaker's flagship luxury SUV to remain boxy on the outside, but the interior is going to be soft, supple, and luxurious. And then there's the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, which starts at starts at $34,290 and boasts 212 total system horsepower, 232 pound-feet of torque, 47 miles of electric driving range, and a total range of 340 miles. EPA rates it at 110 MPGe in EV mode, and 44 city/40 highway/42 combined overall. We compare it to other plug-ins like the Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius Prime. And finally we have some more spy photos of the 2019 Ram 1500. It doesn't have a traditional crosshair grille, but it's got plenty of chrome and an attractive upright stance that's sure to tempt future truck buyers looking for some sophistication to go with their work gloves. New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe spied in revealing state of dress
Tue, 19 Feb 2013During a product briefing earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz told us that 2013 would be the "year of the S-Class." Makes sense, too, since the flagship Mercedes is so very close to finally showing its production-ready face. But the high-tech saloon isn't the only S-Class to talk about this year - quite the contrary. Seen here in decidedly revealing camouflage, the new S-Class Coupe will be joining its four-door compadre in the not-too-distant future, as well.
When it launches, the S-Class Coupe will officially do away with the CL-Class nomenclature. This doesn't come as a huge shock. After all, when the new E-Class coupe and convertible were launched, it officially marked the end of the long-running CLK-Class designation.
Thanks to the interesting camouflage seen here, we have a very good glimpse at how the S-Class Coupe will look when all of the molding and swirly paper are peeled off. Rakish body lines pulled from the CLS-Class meet a much more dynamic front fascia. Out back, there are horizontal taillamps rather than the vertical units used on the current car, and the whole package seems very svelte. Our spy photographer even posits that this will be "the best-looking car from Mercedes-Benz in ages."
