A VERY NICE ORIGINAL MERCEDES BENZ 1984 380SL CONVERTIBLE WITH ONLY 88,584 ORIGINAL MILES WITH A CLEAN AUTOCHECK REPORT.ALWAYS STORED INSIDE AND NICELY MAINTAINED.CAR RUNS AND DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY.SUPER POWERFUL 3.8 LITER ENGINE THAT RUNS EXTREMELY WELL.IT DOES HAVE THE FACTORY DUAL TIMING CHAIN.TRANSMISSION OPERATES IN ALL GEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS.RUNS DOWN THE ROAD WITH NO OVERHEATING OR EXHAUST NOISES.STEERING IS TIGHT.THE BRAKES ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE.THE 14"INCH TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AS WELL AS THE FACTORY STYLE ARGENT COLOR WHEELS.GORGEOUS SHINY DARK BLUE PAINT.IT WAS REFINISHED ONCE OVER THE ORIGINAL PAINT.IT WAS A VERY NICE JOB AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS.NO RUST CAR.NO SUN DAMAGE WITH VERY FEW MINOR DINGS OR SCRATCES.THE DARK BLUE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN GOOD ORIGINAL SHAPE FOR ITS AGE.THE HARDTOP IS MATCHING DARK BLUE TO THE CAR AND IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION.IT WAS ALSO REFINISHED AT THE SAME TIME THE CAR WAS PAINTED.ALL THE FACTORY OPTIONS OPERATE WELL.THE A/C IS OPERATING.THE INTERIOR IS SUPER CLEAN.NO RIPS INSIDE.THE DARK BLUE SEATS ARE IN PERFECT SHAPE.IT HAS A LITTLE EUROPEAN BACK SEAT FOR EXTRA SEATING.IT HAS AN UPGRADED CD PLAYER WITH WORKING AM/FM RADIO.THE POWER ANTENNA IS WORKING.THE ORIGINAL CARPETS ARE VERY CLEAN.THE WOOD CONSOLE ON THE BOTTOM NEAR THE SHIFTER WAS REPLACED WITH NEW WOOD.IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD WITH THE MERCEDES BENZ WINDSHIELD STICKER STILL INTACT.THIS IS A GREAT DRIVER THAT CAN BE DRIVEN ANY PLACE YOU WANT TO GO.SUPER NICE CONDITION THAT DOES NOT NEED ANYTHING TO DRIVE AND ENJOY. |

New Die Hard movie wrecked 132 cars in $11 million chase scene [w/video]

According to John Moore, director of A Good Day To Die Hard, starring Bruce Willis, There were 132 (cars) that could never be used again. Another 518 required a lot of work. And damn right there were some good cars there... That's the fun of it."

Mercedes FWD platform to last until 2018, convertible and two-seater future uncertain
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Mercedes-Benz seems to be expecting a lot of success from its front-wheel-drive CLA-Class. Automotive News is reporting that the sub-C-Class sedan could grow when its second generation arrives in 2018.
The current FWD platform for MB underpins the CLA, the B-Class, the GLA-Class, and the A-Class. The B-Class will arrive in North America as an EV for spring of 2014, while the production GLA crossover will arrive three to four months after that. The five-door A-Class won't be crossing The Pond. Sad faces all around.
According to AN, another model will be based on the front-drive architecture, but it won't be coming to the US market. Set to arrive next year, rumors are that it'll be a wagon version of the CLA, sort of like the ill-named five-door CLS Shooting Brake that is also a Europe-only item.

There have been five Black Series models since the Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG Black Series introduced itself to European audiences in 2006. Following that, the Black Series club has hosted appearances by the 2008 CLK63 AMG Black Series, the 2009 SL65 AMG Black Series and last year's 2013 C63 AMG Black Series. The sixth member of the group is one we would have thought already was a Black Series car in its standard guise. Right out of the box, the SLS AMG is loud, frenetic, cozy, boisterous and frightfully easy to oversteer. How much more Black did it need to get?
Quite a bit so, apparently. The SLS AMG Black Series has lost weight, gained power and been refitted with upgrades and aero bits from front to rear. If you liked the way it looked before, you'll probably be an even bigger fan of this one. If you thought it looked ungainly, well, this one should stay even further away from pageants. Regardless of where you come down this is the best SLS AMG variant we've driven.
