2004 Mercedes Benz Ml350, Navigation, Sunroof, Awd / 4wd, Bose, Great Condition! on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:108300 Color: cosmetic flaws on the vehicle including a scratch on the leading edge of the driver fender and a few small spots of rust forming where the paint had been previously chipped
Location:

Providence, Rhode Island, United States

Providence, Rhode Island, United States

You are bidding on a very well maintained 2004 Mercedes-Benz ML350.  The vehicle is Silver on Black leather with just over 108K miles.  The drivetrain consists of a 3.7L V6, 5-speed automatic transmission, and full time all-wheel drive with a dual range transfer case.  Interior features include leather, factory navigation, heated driver and passenger seats, split folding second row seating, factory Mercedes mats and Mercedes issued ML specific all-weather mats, the Trim Package (driver & passenger power seats, privacy glass), Entertainment Package (BOSE AudioPilot digital sound with 6-disc changer), and the Sunroof Package.  The vehicle comes with the original window sticker and every book/manual provided when it was bought new in Boston, MA!  The correct Continental 4x4 Contact tires have very deep, even tread remaining.  Mechanically, the vehicle is all there!  Every power option works and all maintenance has been performed regularly.  The air conditioning is cold and the vehicle runs and drives without flaw!  The body shows very well overall with no major damage, non-factory paint work, replaced panels, or structural repairs.  Keeping with my belief in being 100% accurate and transparent with my listings, I have included pictures of the minor exterior cosmetic flaws on the vehicle including a scratch on the leading edge of the driver fender and a few small spots of rust forming where the paint had been previously chipped.  The undercarriage has average surface rust for a New England vehicle.  I have a clear, Rhode Island title in hand so no worries about dealing with a lien holder or payoff.  Overall, absolutely no issues to be concerned about...pick it up and drive it every day!

My wife and I recently bought a larger vehicle as our family is growing so the ML is now taking up space in our driveway.  I am very motivated to sell and have set an aggressively low reserve price for that reason.  For reference, Kelley Blue Book good condition is $8,300 and NADA retail is over $10,000+.  Even their wholesale/dealer trade-in value is $7,675!  I am a long standing eBay member with 100% positive feedback including several vehicles and I pride myself on accurate listings - please bid with confidence!  I have a Photobucket album with 90+ detailed photos of the ML from every angle that, due to eBay policy, I am unable to provide a link to here.  Please message me and I will be happy to provide it to you!

I will be happy to assist with obtaining shipping for long distance bidders but all shipping costs/fees will be the responsibility of the Buyer.  Please email me prior to bidding if you have no prior eBay feedback or recent negative feedback.  If you win the auction, you've bought the vehicle!  Please, only bid if you have funds lined up and ready to go.  As much as I do not want to, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle if the Buyer does not leave a deposit within 48 hours and will pursue a non-payment strike.  Please message me with any questions!  Thank you, Brian.

Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 priced at $48,855, AWD at $50,855

Fri, Apr 8 2016

Infiniti's most powerful production model, the new Q50 Red Sport 400, now has a starting price. You'll need at least $48,855 for the rear-drive model or $50,855 for all-wheel drive. (Both figures include the $905 destination charge.) A fully loaded, rear-drive Q50 RS400 with Direct Adaptive Steering, navigation, adaptive cruise control, a heated steering wheel, and Infiniti's entire alphabet soup of safety equipment, tops out at $57,045. (Again, add $2,000 for AWD). When it comes to rear-drive competition, the closest base price to the Q50 is the 320-hp BMW 340i. This German undercuts the Infiniti by two grand, $46,795 to $48,855. But the BMW outprices the Q50 as soon as you start selecting options. A 340i with similar equipment to a loaded Q50 Red Sport 400 costs just under $60,000. All-wheel-drive German competitors also lose out in the price war. Like with the rear-drive models, the BMW 340i xDrive undercuts the Q50 RS400 by around $2,000. Add the options, and the Infiniti becomes a better value. The other two big German rivals, the Audi S4 and Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG start at a higher price and only get more expensive. Technically the S4 starts cheaper than the Q50, but only with the standard manual transmission. Selecting the S-Tronic dual-clutch model kicks the price from $50,125 to $51,125, and going for the top-end Prestige trim will bump potential Audi owners up to $57,025. Throw on must-have S4 options, including adaptive cruise control, adaptive dampers, and a sport differential and you'll be shell out $64,425 for the Audi. The Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG is the priciest choice in this group, starting at $51,725, or roughly $900 more than a base Q50 RS400 with AWD. Options, again, are the downfall here. Building a C450 to match a loaded Infiniti will drive the Mercedes' price up to $64,315. While it occupies something of a weird space relative to these vehicles, it's also worth mentioning the Cadillac CTS VSport. It's the only car in this impromptu pricing comparo that can outgun the Q50, with its 3.6-liter, twin-turbo V6 good for 420 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. It also starts at $60,950, although that includes plenty of standard equipment. All this means that the Q50 Red Sport 400 represents a relative value. It packs more power than the Germans – 80 more than the 340i, 67 more than the S4, and 38 more than the C450 – and a more comprehensive list of options, too.

2014 Mercedes B-Class ED battery much bigger than previously stated

Mon, Jun 23 2014

There was something unexpected hiding in the new configurator for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive: a $600 "Temporary range extender." Since we've never heard of such a thing, we had to click through for more. The official explanation runs like this: A suite of options to further increase your driving range includes added insulation of the doors and roof for to increase climate-control efficiency, along with an electrically heated windshield and a range-extending charge function. By pressing a button on the console prior to charging, the maximum charge level for battery will increased for the next charge cycle. The higher-capacity charge can provide up to 17 additional miles of range. The passive features that increase range should be standard in all models, we think. But we were more curious about the battery charge situation. How do you increase a maximum? And is it a good idea to do so? The configurator includes this disclaimer, after all: Range extender should only be used on a limited basis, and could shorten battery life if used excessively. How much is excessive? We investigate below. The B-Class ED has, according to the specs, a 28-kWh battery. First, let's understand what this "temporary range extender" is all about. The B-Class ED has, according to the specs, a 28-kWh battery. But Terry Wei, from the Mercedes-Benz USA product and technology communications department, confirmed to AutoblogGreen that the B-Class ED is actually hiding a 36-kWh battery, but the automaker is calling it a 28-kWh battery because that's how much energy capacity is used in day-to-day use. Most automakers publicly claim the actual capacity and then admit they use a percentage of it. The Chevy Volt, for example, has a 16.5-kWh battery pack, but a "full charge" only fills up around 65 percent of that. In the B-Class ED, the 28 kWh of useable energy provides an EPA-certified 87 miles of range. But, since there are eight kWh of reserve, the temporary range extender (we think of it as a software update accessed by a button) can access some of that and offer the aforementioned 17 miles. Now that we know what we're dealing with, this reminds us of an evolved version of the "remote wireless charging" feature that was touted in the Reva EV. Wei said that the reason the feature is optional is because Mercedes doesn't think most people will need it. Eighty-seven miles is plenty for your average EV driver, but when you want to have 100+ in the tank, you can.

Mercedes rolls out the long red carpet for new Maybach S600 Pullman [w/video]

Tue, Mar 3 2015

Remember when the S-Class was the S-Class and that was it? The pinnacle of the Mercedes-Benz lineup, at least as far as sedans were concerned. But those days are long behind us. Now there's a coupe as well (bringing the former CL back into the fold), a convertible on its way, the uber-luxe Maybach limo and this: the new Pullman. The creme de la creme of the Silver Star range, His Excellency Field Marshall Dr. Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Dada – as it's known in full, at least with the twelve-cylinder engine – is... well, it's enormous. It's bigger than the old Maybach 62 it essentially replaces and bigger even than an extended-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom. And why would you need a vehicle so large? Well, you wouldn't. And neither would we. But there are some, shall we call them "unelected heads of state" who would accept no less. They're the customers who favored the original, and 50 years later, they're the ones who'll be snapping up the new one. (The little wavy flags on the front fenders are optional.)
