Thank you for looking at our 2005 Mercedes Benz G55 AMG Grand Edition.  We have a very soft spot for W463 Chassis G- Wagons, so we were excited to take on this project to offer an affordable, ultra unique G55 AMG.

The G55 Grand Edition is the rarest edition of the G-Class Series ever made.  This truck is #359.  With 63,400 Short Miles, this truck is just getting broken in.  Being fully serviced it's entire life, and fully up to date on services, this vehicle is truly the ultimate SUV.  Finished in Black over Black Designo Interior with Burl Wood Accents, the truck is absolutely breathtaking.  It has factory options including heated seats, Designo Trim, Deviated Stitching, Navigation, and much more.  In our true fiveninedesign fashion, we took the truck, and took it to the next level with a few unobtrusive, subtle modifications.

The aftermarket additions on this truck include:

24x10 Concavo CW-6 Wheels Powdercoated in Matte Black

305/35/24 Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain Tires

123MB Black Projector Headlamps with 6000k HID Bixenon System

123MB Smoked LED Tail Lamps

123MB G63 Headlight Housings with LED Strip

Alcantara Headliner in Dark Gray

Turn Signal Gaurds Powdercoated in Matte Black

Lower Bull Bar Powdercoated in Matte Black

Skid Plates Powdercoated in Matte Black

Tail Light Gaurds Powdercoated in Matte Black

Rear Tire Cover Powdercoated in Matte Black

All Fenders Wrapped in 3M Matte Black Vinyl by (http://identitydesignfl.com)

Bumpers Wrapped in 3M Matte Black Vinyl

Hood Wrapped in 3M Matte Black Vinyl

Windshield Surround Wrapped in 3M Matte Black Vinyl

Lower Foglights Finished in High Intensity Yellow

The truck is in phenominal condition being 9 years old.  There are a few scratches here or there (Pictured below), but there is no paintwork on the truck, and it is in better condition than 80% of the newer G Wagons on the road.  There are some slight wear marks under the wrap on the front bumper where the brush gaurd was installed.  It is included in the sale, and can be put on at the next owners request, we just like it without the bar. It was Doctor Owned, and has no stories.  The truck is extremely fast, and doesn't have the normal "G Wagon" Issues such as squeaking hinges, AC Compressor, Door Alignments, Etc.  This truck has no stories.  It drives like a new truck, but more importantly, it drives like a TANK.

If you are looking for one of the best looking and performing SUV's on the market, than look no further.  This truck will please the most discerning buyers, and will look good doing it!  Be assured that you will have the only G Wagon in your city that looks like this, and has the braun to back it.

Mercedes-AMG GT attacks Circuit of the Americas

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Mercedes-Benz is having a banner year with its Formula One team. Through 2014, the constructor has 454 championship points; ahead of its nearest competitor (Red Bull-Renault) by a margin of 182 tally marks. We're sure they can almost taste the champagne.
It's fitting then, and a little big cocky in a good way, that Mercedes has released a video of its newest sports car at an F1 venue. In this case, the car is the lovely Mercedes-AMG GT S, and the racetrack is Austin's Circuit of the Americas.
Having seen the official photo set and scratched the surface of the technical specifications earlier this week, we're excited to finally hear the thing run. As you might guess, the deployment of 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque from the twin-turbo V8 is a motivating experience. Crank up your volume, and hit that play button. (Oh, and Mercedes shot the thing in 4K, too, so those of you with expensive televisions/monitors should take heed to the settings.)

2016 German Grand Prix race recap: so-so racing, great questions

Mon, Aug 1 2016

We can summarize the 2016 German Grand Prix in one sentence: Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver Lewis Hamilton started second on the grid, passed pole-sitter and teammate Nico Rosberg before the first corner, and dominate to the finish. In fact, Hamilton turned his engine power output down on Lap 3 and still took the checkered flag seven seconds ahead of Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo. Ricciardo's teammate Max Verstappen crossed the line another six seconds back. Rosberg fell to fourth at the first corner and couldn't find the pace to reel in the Red Bulls. His questionable pass on Verstappen didn't help when the stewards penalized Rosberg five seconds; the overtake reminded us of Rosberg's move on teammate Hamilton in Austria. That penalty turned into eight seconds when the Mercedes-AMG Petronas stopwatch didn't work in the pits. Ferrari pilots Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen finished fifth and sixth. Those six drivers all started in the top six, too. Behind them, on Lap 28 of the 67-lap race the next four drivers were Valtteri Bottas in the Williams, Nico Hulkenberg in the Force India, and Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso in McLarens. Low fuel and old tires put the kibosh on Alonso's pace just four laps from the finish, allowing Force India's Sergio Perez to pass, rounding out the top ten. The issues up for debate during the four-week break are far more interesting than the weekend's race. As bad as Ferrari's day might have been – and we'll get to that – Rosberg probably took the biggest hit, losing the race before the first corner for the second weekend in a row and falling 19 points behind Hamilton. Rosberg won the first four races of the season, then the teammates tripped over one another in Spain. Hamilton's won six of the seven races since Spain, Rosberg's best result in that time is a second-place in Hungary. Hamilton turned his engine down on Lap 3 (!) because he's used his entire season's allotment of five turbochargers and five MGU-Ks. Those early-season gremlins now have him on edge of grid penalties. Unless Hamilton's momentum cools off in August, however, that reliability danger might be the only dent in his armor. Rosberg, who once led the Championship by 43 points, will surely drown in his thoughts – and maybe schnapps – over the summer break. Whatever the Italian word for "meditation" is, there'll be a lot of it at Ferrari during the F1 summer break.

Britain orders 10,000 ventilators from F1/McLaren/Mercedes/Ford/Rolls-Royce/Airbus

Mon, Mar 30 2020

Paramedics and ambulance personnel get instructions from a command unit outside London's ExCel Centre arena, which is being turned into a 4,000 bed temporary hospital called NHS Nightingale to deal with coronavirus patients. The hospital is due to open Monday, March 30. / AP     LONDON — Britain has ordered 10,000 ventilators from a consortium of leading aerospace, engineering and Formula One racing companies which will start production this week in response to an urgent government call for industry to help save lives. The 27-strong team, including Airbus, BAE Systems, Ford and Rolls-Royce, have joined forces to ramp up production of a ventilator made by Smiths Group, which supports those with complications from COVID-19. The consortium, which also includes seven Formula One teams including McLaren and Mercedes, home to World Champion Lewis Hamilton, said they had pulled staff off existing projects to meet the national need. Some 1,228 people have died from coronavirus in the United Kingdom and a senior health official said on Saturday the country would be doing well if it manages to keep the death toll below 20,000. "This consortium brings together some of the most innovative companies in the world," Dick Elsy, the head of the consortium, said in a statement. "I am confident this consortium has the skills and tools to make a difference and save lives." The United Kingdom, which initially only had 5,000 ventilators available in its National Health Service, has been trying to secure additional supplies after realising it needed 30,000 to cope with the peak of the outbreak. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is now in isolation in Downing Street after testing positive for coronavirus, made an emergency appeal earlier this month for manufacturers to retool their production lines and start making specialist health equipment including ventilators. Britain now has about 8,000 ventilators, with another 8,000 on order from international manufacturers that are due in coming weeks. Last week it placed an order for a newly-designed model from the vacuum cleaner company Dyson that will need to be approved by the health regulator. Mercedes part of a separate effort, too Separately on Monday a second consortium including Mercedes Formula One and other F1 teams said it had developed in less than a week a new version of a breathing aid that can help coronavirus patients.
