Up for grabs is a VERY RARE fully loaded 1 OWNER vehicle with every know option available. It is in absolutely PRISTINE condition and comes fully loaded from the factory with all options including the UBER RARE Carbon Ceramic brake pkg costing over $13k as well as the performance package. Then we had the guys at GTC (German Tuning Corp aka Brabus North America) install the Renntech Performance tuned ECU as well as do the resonator delete custom exhaust work to kick up the HP just a little bit extra as well as make the already stout sounding luxury machine just a little more pronounced. Vehicle sounds quiet when cruising and no unwanted drone, but just hit the gas pedal past 20%, WHOA this beast comes to life sounding nothing short of a Supercar!! Performance times have been tested at 0-60mph at 3.2 seconds with street radials. These times were done by GTC not me. And was told if I wanted to run drag radials making a stickier compound I could easily gain two tenths and have a 0-60mph 3.0 seconds. Now keep in mind a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is 0-60 2.9 seconds. And that is an all wheel drive supercar costing north or $450k.

We had the vehicle dyno'd at 678 Crank HP. An absolutely astonishing number... Please keep in mind this vehicle has been owned by a professional and never once driven in rain, never tracked or raced, and meticulously maintained it entire life. I have this car completely detailed once a week on Sat inside and out with hand wax and machine polish.. This is a very low mile and rare car that pride of ownership shows!! Renntech Upgraded ECU also includes performance spark plugs, specialty filters and exhaust work totaling $5425- performed by GTC in Irvine Ca. I am into this vehicle after taxes and work performed $152k + tint job. Still under factory warranty!!!

The crew at GTC also professionally painted the orange side markers on the bumper and blacked out the bulbs to not protrude from paint. Has a very clean and fresh look blending in the lines of the vehicle much better.

Also I will be dropping off vehicle to have the windows tinted with a H?per Optik® nano-ceramic film . I was quoted $945. This will be included in the sale of the car. I had it on another vehicle and really is a great film with wonderful heat rejection. Only fitting a German masterpiece such as the CLS63 have the best German film right?..

Just had the dealer replace the 2 rear tires with brand new ContiSportContact 5P tires. These just cost me a little over a $1000 dollars. All the wheels are blemish free, no curb marks, blemishes etc. Vehicle does not have a single dent, ding scratch or imperfection anywhere. Interior is in perfect condition as well. I do not have kids or pets, hardly anyone ever sat in the rear and only may have been maybe a handful of times. I have included the option sheet as well, as you will see this vehicle came fully loaded with every imaginable option available. Had the B service just completed, which it was not due yet but I'm a bit anal when it comes to my cars. They also looked over the entire car including brakes etc and only thing recommended was rear tires in next 8k miles. I told them to replace tires right then, I like to be safe than sorry.

This vehicle also has the optional carbon fiber package interior as well as the Carbon fiber rear spoiler and Carbon fiber engine cover.  I can tell you that you will NOT find a ONE OWNER Highly Optioned absolutely Meticulous low mileage CLS63 loaded like this beauty for this price.  Very rare and you are more than welcome to do your due diligence seeking this out.. Anyone local to Southern California is welcomed to view vehicle in person, guaranteed no disappointments here. If you are out of state, I will be more than happy to have an inspection done at perspective buyers expense.

The Carbon Ceramic optional brake system is truly like no other brake kit. Yes its a $13k+option. But I will tell you its stops so quickly and smoothly and no jerking or uncomfortable brake feel. Its a monster sized brake kit with monster rotors filling almost the entire interior of the 19" Forged AMG wheels. No disappointments with this one and best part of all, NO brake dust...

I am not in a hurry to sell this car nor do I need the money. I have many cars and am simply making room for another. My Buy it Now Price is priced to move quickly. If any additional questions are requested please let me know. There is NO LIEN on vehicle as carfax says. I just paid the payoff and have a clean title in hand..

Buyers responsibility to arrange transport. Will do my best to accommodate your carrier and help in any way I can so long as the requests are reasonable.

Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing debut 2,220-HP electric motor boat

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

Take the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell, stretch it and take off the wheels then make it float and you've basically got the just-unveiled Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept. Powered by an all-electric powertrain that offers 2,200 horsepower and 2,213 pound-feet of torque (and uses "numerous components" taken from the not-quite-as-yellow SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive), the sleek concept is being called the "world's most powerful electric drive powerboat." What that means is a top speed of over 100 miles per hour from four 60-kWh lithium-ion batteries and two banks of six liquid-cooled, permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors. And the 240 kWh of total energy should provide plenty of juice out on the water.
Launched (but not literally) at the Miami International Boat Show today, the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept is the result of a partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing. The boat is 38 feet long (much longer than the 15-foot SLS) and is plastered with AMG branding on the sides and top of the bow above the matte chrome yellow paint (officially called AMG Electricbeam mango). Two 220-kW chargers can refill the batteries, dockside, in about seven hours.
The idea of a powerful electric boat is nothing new (Henrik Fisker talked about a plug-in hybrid watercraft late last year), but this is the first time we've seen Mercedes put its EV technology on the water. Anyone who's afraid of driving an EV in the rain should take note. Check out the complete press release below.

Mystery shoppers love Infiniti, hate Tesla

Tue, Jul 12 2016

Infiniti, followed by Lexus tied with Mercedes-Benz took the top two spots for best sales experience according to mystery shoppers from the latest Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, while EV manufacturer Tesla recorded the lowest overall score. Not surprisingly, premium brands dominated the top ranks. Including the three already mentioned, luxury brands occupied seven of the top ten spots and included Audi, BMW, Porsche, and the only American brand to crack the upper echelon, Cadillac. Toyota, Volkswagen, and Nissan rounded out the first ten positions. The news for domestic automakers isn't good. Aside from Caddy, the only other star-spangled automaker to score above the industry average is Chrysler. The rest of FCA, most of GM, and all of Ford fell below the line. But Pied Piper's mystery shoppers handed Tesla the biggest walloping – the company is ten full points below the next lowest brand, Volvo, and its score of 86 is 17 below the average of 103. It's baffling, considering the company's touted direct-sales model. "Tesla leaves me scratching my head," Fred O'Hagan, Pied Piper's president and CEO, told Wards Auto. "They own all of their stores, so you would think each one would be doing the same thing. But they're not. Tesla is consistent in its inconsistencies." O'Hagan added that there's a "huge variation" in Tesla's store-to-store effectiveness, and that in some cases, shoppers found showroom workers that acted more like "museum curators," Wards Auto reports. It might be popular to call Tesla the Apple of the car world, but based on Pied Piper's work, the brand has a long way to go to emulate the uniform shopping experience of an Apple Store. The news might be bad for Tesla, but even for the brands that scored below average, there's cause for celebration. Only Tesla and Mini lost points in this year's rankings, and only Mercedes and Lincoln held steady. Every other brand, including Infiniti, which topped the index for the first time, gained at least one point. The biggest improvements belong to Porsche, Land Rover, and Mitsubishi, which all jumped five points. Pied Piper's annual Prospect Satisfaction Index uses mystery shoppers – over 6,100 this year – from across the country to assess dealers and generate rankings from over 50 individual factors. Buy a V8 Mercedes-Maybach, or splurge for a V12? Oh to have such problems

Thu, Jun 1 2017

There's a certain air that surrounds the Maybach badge, and it's not just the scent being pumped out by the ionizer in the car's glovebox. It's the cream of the crop when it comes to German luxury. These cars are filled with an acre's worth of wood and a herd's worth of cows, ensuring your fingers rarely touch materials as pedestrian as plastic. It's as quiet, as smooth, and as imposing as you think it would be. Though the latest model from Mercedes-Maybach, the S550, might have swapped in a V8 and all-wheel drive in place of the V12 at the heart of the S600, no other amenities have been lost in translation. The car's size gives it a certain presence. Staring at the profile shows a wheelbase that spans two counties, necessitating a microphone and speaker setup simply so that the driver can converse with the passenger – and a Maybach will almost always have a passenger. No one buys a Maybach to drive. You buy a Maybach to be driven. No means of transport short of business-class airline seating offers this much space. Sit back, recline the seat, roll up the shades and enjoy your $167,125 cocoon. But you know all of that already. What you really want to know is if $25,000 - the V12-powered S600 starts at $192,225 - is worth it to gain an extra four cylinders, 74 horsepower, and 96 lb-ft of torque. On paper, no, it's not. The two cars have identical performance numbers, and the S550 benefits from Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Even with all-wheel drive, the S550 weighs less than the nose-heavy S600. Fuel economy is, as expected, superior in the S550. It's rated at 16 city, 24 highway and 19 combined as opposed to 13 city, 21 highway, and 16 combined. Visually, the two cars are identical save for a few badges. The V12 badge on the S600 is replaced with a 4Matic badge on the S550, and that's where things start to get murky. When you're spending six figures on a car, decisions become more emotional than practical. $25,000 is a lot of money, but there's a bigger difference between $25,000 and $50,000 than there is between $167,000 and $192,000. As stated, you don't buy these cars to drive. Performance needs to be merely adequate. A smooth, torquey V12 is likely preferable to a hairy-chested V8, refined as it may be. These cars will never touch redline, lest the passengers spill their champagne. Plus, that V12 badge is worth its weight in country club memberships. Driving an S550 is fine until an owner shows up at an event behind an S600.
