I am hired by clients to buy over fifty European cars each year, and I can tell you there is ONE thing I look for: a car with a no-expense spared, documented, service and maintenance history. This is that car. On top of that, it drives tight like new, and the cosmetics are impeccable. It has only gone 31K miles and looks like new. THAT’S why you buy this car. Here's the deal: -- This is a 2000 Mercedes CLK430 cabriolet in 744 brilliant silver metallic over 217 dove grey leather interior, with matching grey carpets and headliner. It is a 2-owner car, always MB dealer serviced, has only 31,xxx original miles, looks like a million bucks, and was always garaged so no rust or rot anywhere. This car was LOVED, and has NEVER had any accidents or bodywork. There is hardly a ding, dent, scuff, or scratch anywhere…it’s unreal. -- -- Exterior 9.90 out of 10 - Fantastic overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. No dings. No dents. No scuffs. This CLK430 looks amazing, with a deep shine to the silver paint that's like looking into an endless mirror. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage. Imagine getting a 14 year old metallic car with no swirl marks or spiderwebs in the paint….amazing! -- -- The lower side-body moldings are in great shape. The chrome, rubber, glass, and trim is all excellent and original. Headlights were protected by Xpel film for 15 years which was just removed, and they are nearly flawless. No oxidation, fade, wear, rust, etc., just as you’d expect of a 31K mile car. Look at the body panels.....they are laser straight. -- -- This CLK430 cabriolet is nicely optioned including AMG sport package, multi-contour orthopedic front seats, COMAND navigation, stability and traction control, and more. Wow! -- -- It currently wears its OEM 17” five-star AMG alloy wheels, all true and in excellent condition. The tires are getting low in the rear, but at the BIN price I will include a near-new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires in size 235/45/17 with 90% tread remaining. This CLK430 cab goes arrow-straight down the road at high speed with no shimmy, pull, or anything else. -- -- Interior 9.5 out of 10 - The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, aftermarket wood trim, and carpets are in great original condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, and nearly zero wear of any kind on the leather. Everything looks and feels new. This is not the typical worn CLK - this car was garaged every day of its life and it shows. No refinishing either, this is the ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED interior, without even any type of detailing, just a wash and a vacuum off the transport truck. -- -- The door panels and trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. -- -- Even the trunk and the spare are mint. -- -- The top operates perfectly, and is clean and looks as new as the rest of the car. The HVAC system is fast to respond, and operates perfectly with scalding hot heat and ice-cold A/C. -- -- Mechanical 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong.
