The previous owner added different badges on the rear of vehicle, It says CLK63 and on the right side AMG, with 6.3 AMG on drivers and passenger side fender. People actually take pictures of it. So i never took them off.. I have receipts of all work done to it and receipts from the new rims and tires. I probably have done 10,000 worth of work into it... The Double den dash was added on, and the 6 CD Changer in the glove box was removed. Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws, as is standard on ANY used car. All used cars may have dings, nicks, chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. But for this one their hardly is a scratch on it!! Obviously, a car that is 10 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old. Vehicle books, extra key, are all still with the car. There is one older key, and I also purchased a new key that comes with the new Mercedes vehicles. Mercedes calls CLA 'best launch in 20 years' as it warns dealers of tight supplies
Fri, 13 Dec 2013It's still in the early going, but it's looking more and more like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a verifiable home run for the German brand. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the new small car isn't just widening the sales gap between Mercedes and BMW, it's attracting a new, younger breed of customers into the brand's showrooms. But that early success is straining supplies of the turbocharged four-door.
Dealers have been warned that the first half of 2014 will see limited supplies for CLA, with a letter to dealers indicating that "tight inventories and low days supply" will exist from February through June, despite the car's Kecskemét, Hungary plant running at full tilt.
"This is our best launch in 20 years," said Steve Cannon, the US boss for Mercedes. "The CLA has been a phenomenal success right out of the gate." The numbers certainly support that. We reported in early October that Mercedes moved 2,300 CLAs in its first week on sale, and now Bloomberg is saying CLA sales were almost singlehandedly responsible for Benz's November sales gains. Mercedes' annual sales are up 14 percent through the November, and it's enjoying a healthy 7,600-car lead over BMW.
Next Mercedes S-Class stretching into this 600 Pullman limo
Fri, 15 Mar 2013To the concern of nobody in particular, Mercedes-Benz will not be re-upping its Maybach line of ultra-luxury limousines. No, instead the German automaker will be stretching its already roomy S-Class, to make this upcoming 600 Pullman version of the decked-out beast.
The car in our new gallery of spy shots is sporting beefy B-pillars and a massive set of rear doors that should allow perfectly graceful ingress and egress from what is likely to be a palatial rear space. (In one photo we can even see a long-wheelbase S-Class in line with the new Pullman, handily exhibiting the size of the new variant.) The exterior modifications are otherwise obscured, though we can guess at revised front and rear fascia and lighting elements, based on both end being heavily taped for these test runs.
It's a good bet that the Pullman will make use of M-B's twin-turbocharged V12 engine, though sources indicate that a hybrid version might eventually be in the offing, as well.
Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG officially teased in mini video
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The followup to the Mercedes-Benz S550, the S63 AMG, will sport a biturbocharged V8 that will likely turn out around 550 horsepower. The new engine is probably the 5.5-liter, biturbocharged V-8 that's been popping up in everything from the ML63 to the E63 AMG. The front fascia is more aggressive, which shouldn't come as a surprise, while a meaty exhaust setup can be found out back.
We managed to pick all that up from a short, 17-second video posted by MB. The original video that unveiled the S63 AMG has since been pulled down, making this YouTube clip the best look we now have at the new super sedan, at least until the Germans give up the goods for real.
