Up for sale is this super clean 2002 Mercedes-Benz C320 Coupe Kompressor. This vehicle has only 65,000 miles and it
looks and drives amazingly! This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle and the owner was an 80 year old man. Unfortunately, this vehicle was involved in a fresh
water flood and is being sold with a salvage title. We are not sure
why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any
water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with
all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and
button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no
reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage
title. There is no damage what so ever done to this vehicle! I have been driving the vehicle to and from work for the past few weeks and its a great driving vehicle that needs nothing but a new home.
This Benz is super
clean and has a gold exterior with tan interior.
The seats are in like new condition as well as the rest of the interior. This C230 Coupe just turned 65k
miles (which is extremely low for this year) and it runs and drives
fantastically. All these miles are out of
state highway miles and it shows. The drive is so smooth, its like
floating on a
cloud. Every
feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The
air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat blows very hot. This vehicle is ready for its
new owner and needs nothing mechanically done to it. This is a nice example
of an all original, low mileage, super clean Mercedes. And they are
hard to find like this. This Mercedes has a 4 cylinder Supercharged engine that really takes off when you need it but it also gets almost 40 miles per gallon on the highway. This is a very nice, economical, reliable way to drive.
This
C230 is loaded up with every possible
option. It has a supercharged engine, panoramic glass roof with power shades, CD changer in glovebox, upgraded sound system with cassette, fog lamps, on-board computer system, steering wheel control, remote keyless entry, alarm, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, alloy sport style wheels, four air bags, ABS, and too much more to list. This Benz has it all. This Benz comes with the original Mercedes key
fob. We also have the original floor mats, all the original owners manuals and booklets, first aid kit unopened, and the unused spare
tire and jack. The tool kit is complete as well. Its all
there like it was when it was purchased new. This vehicle
was
very well cared for and it
shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is
reliable and runs like a dream. The car has all matching Michelin tires
all around and there is a ton of tread left on them. We have driven it 500 miles and it seems to be running and
driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000
miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and
transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and good windshield wiper blades. The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and
glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The body is in
above average condition and there is no real blemishes to point out on
this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well, especially for its
age. This car also seems to be all original with no paint or
bodywork. The paint shines like glass. The carfax report shows no
accident history. It is hard to find these cars in great shape like this, this is a real find. The
interior of
the
vehicle is also super clean. The seats
have no cracks or rips and the fabric is very firm and supple. The
dash and door panels are also very nice and clean. All the interior trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The
interior is perfect condition in my
opinion. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the
buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering
a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and
test drive it, you are
more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the
buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my
local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped
to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within
24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in
full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other
arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said,
feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any
questions or concerns. My name is Matt and my number is 646-243-9866.
Thanks and good luck

On Location at Mercedes-Benz Van Camp in the Rocky Mountains
Mon, Jul 6 2015Camping high in the Rocky Mountains as spring gave way to summer may not seem like the obvious way to test out a work van, but that's how we sampled the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris. Our drive was based in Dunton Hot Springs and Cresto Ranch, CO, nestled high in the Rocky Mountains. Both were gorgeous and dripping with history. Since their rough-hewn origins they've been converted into an upscale camping experience. We spent a couple nights in Cresto Ranch, an old cattle outpost near the Dolores River. Our 'tent' was lavishly furnished, complete with a shower, desk, and comfortable bed. Glamor camping is in vogue, and this was 'glamping' at its finest. Most of the Mercedes activities started at Dunton Hot Springs, a former mining town with tents and log cabins remade into an even larger-scale glamping site than Cresto Ranch. The hot springs beckoned, but glampers could also enjoy massages or just soak in the soaring forests surrounding the site. The only downside: With an elevation around 8,700 feet above sea level, we found ourselves occasionally light-headed. It was a fun couple of days in the Rockies, on the road and at the campsite. Watch the video above for the complete experience, and read the review here.
