Beautiful red 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Kompressor Sport 4 Door Sedan. I am the second owner, and this vehicle was in immaculate condition when I purchased it in 2010, and I have done my best to keep it in the same shape. This car still has that new car, new leather smell. But low and behold, I am a serious gardener at heart and this car is too beautiful to haul flats of flowers and bags of fertilizers around in! So as much as I love this car, I need get practical.
"Red" is in excellent condition. This car has not had a smoker inside, kids or any kind of pets. I have used an old winter beater to get around in the snow, so this vehicle has been parked safely inside my garage during the winter. There is no rust or winter damage on the exterior at all. The interior is in excellent condition; no wear and tear, rips, holes,or fading whatsoever. I had new brakes installed all the way around, plus two new tires put on the rear in February of this year. In September I had the "Service B" completed, which included a new air filter, ACC cabin filter, new spark plugs, oil change with new oil filter, and new brake fluid.
"Red" comes with an Vehicle Warranty which is transferrable to the next buyer. It is a 36,000 mile warranty, which is good until the milage reaches 97,574. I have never had any mechanical problem with this vehicle whatsoever, the only costs I have incurred are regular maintenance items.

Regulators consider adding more carmakers to Takata recall
Tue, Sep 29 2015Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal has been getting a lot of press recently, but the Takata airbag inflator affair could be grabbing headlines again soon. According to Bloomberg, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is contemplating an expansion to the campaign that could add seven automakers to the 12 already affected. They are Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Spartan Motors, Suzuki, Tesla, Volvo Trucks, and VW Group. To be clear, there's no recall for any of these automakers, yet. The government is simply asking for a full list of vehicles that each of them have with Takata-supplied inflators containing ammonium nitrate propellant. The agency is concerned this substance could play a roll in the ruptures. "NHTSA is considering not only whether to issue an administrative order that would coordinate the remedy programs associated with the current Takata recalls, but also whether such an order should include expansion of the current recalls," the letters say. All seven can be viewed, here. From a report supplied by Takata, the government already knows that the company supplied 887,055 inflators with ammonium-nitrate propellant to VW and 184,926 of them to Tesla. In an incident during the summer, a side airbag allegedly burst in a 2015 VW Tiguan. In early September, NHTSA put out a revised report that there were 23.4 million inflators to be replaced in 19.2 million vehicles in the US. An earlier accounting from the agency had about 34 million of the parts in 30 million cars. High humidity is still believed to be among the biggest risk factors for the ruptures. Although, if ammonium nitrate also gets the blame, some already recalled models might need to be repaired again. Related Video:

In case you forgot, the Dubai Police supercar fleet is the coolest
Tue, Feb 10 2015Ever wonder why the Dubai Police have a fleet of vehicles worth millions and millions and millions of dollars? Why it has a Bugatti Veyron and a Bentley Continental and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with sirens and light bars? Well, here's the reason. This video shows the fleet on display on the Emirate's roads and highways, while also reaching out to the people the police are meant to protect. It's an impressive display of machinery, to be sure. Alongside the Bentley, Bugatti and Mercedes, we spy a Ferrari FF, a Brabus G-Wagen, a BMW M6, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a McLaren MP4-12C (although the latest Dubai Police car, the Lexus RC F, is absent). The video even has a very cinematic look and feel to it, which works well with the night scenes and the blues-and-twos of the exotics cruisers.
