PAY PAL & AT LEAST 15 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS TO BID INSTANT DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED within 24 hour period.... THROUGH PAY PAL OF $300 IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO HAVE THE FULL REQUIREMENTS & YOU ARE VERY INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT ME THIS IS A 2003 MERCEDES BENZ C230 AMG KOMPRESSOR COUPE. IT HAS A 1.8L SUPERCHARGED ENGINE WITH A 6 SPEED MANUEL REAR WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR ONLY HAS 62124 MILES. THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE. THIS IS A RARE MERCEDES BENZ FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT IT COMES WITH THE 'AMG' PACKAGE. THE FIRE ENGINE RED PAINT, THE 19 INCH AMG WHEELS, FULL PANORAMIC ROOF, THE 6 SPEED MANUEL TRANSMISSION AND OF COURSE THE 1.8 SUPERCHARGED MOTOR MAKE IT A DISTINCT VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE COMES WITH POWER BLACK LEATHER SEATS FRONT AND BACK, POWER WINDOWS AND LOCKS AND POWER SIDE MIRRORS. ALSO THE PREVIOUS OWNER ADDED THE 5 INCH AFTERMARKET JVC RADIO UNIT TO EVEN BRIGHTEN THE CAR UP EVEN MORE. A NICE LITTLE TOUCH FOR AN ALREADY BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR. THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE FLOOD TITLE. BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FLOOD. THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOTALED THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE. WE RECENTLEY HAD A STORM WHICH CAUSED THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES TO FLOOD.. SOME REALLY BAD AND SOME NOT SO BAD.. CONISDERING THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES I WOULDN'T CONSIDER THIS A BAD FLOOD. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEMS I CAME ACROSS WERE AS FOLLOWS : THE SEATS HAVE MINOR LITTLE WHITE STAINS ( AS SEEN IN PIC) NOTTHING SERIOUS AT ALL, THE DOOR PANELS HAVE MINOR LITTLE STAINS ALSO.. THE CAR HAS NO MOLD OR DOES NOT SMELL OF MOLD SO THE DAMAGE IS NOT SEVERE AT ALL. THERE ARE SOME ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE CAR ALSO. WHEN I GOT THE CAR , THE POWER WINDOWS, THE POWER SIDE MIRRORS, AND THE POWER SEATS DID NOT WORK. ALSO THERE MIGHT BE LOWER SPEAKER DAMAGE BECAUSE SOUND WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE SPEAKER. SOME OF THE WHEELS DO HAVE MINOR ROAD RASH. NOT A HUGE DEAL BUT THIS IS IN FACT THE PROBLEMS I HAVE ENCOUNTERD. HAVING SAID THAT, I DID NOT COME ACROSS ANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. THE HEADLIGHTS, BLINKERS, BRAKE LIGHTS,DASH LIGHTS, SUN ROOF, RADIO AND EVERYTHING ELSE ELECTRICAL I LOOKED AT ALL DO WORK. THE CAR RUNS FINE. IT SHIFTS INTO GEARS WITH NO PROBLEM. THERE IS NO HESITATION IN ACCELERATION AT ALL.. AND YES THE VEHICLE IS FAST. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO JUMP START THE CAR, IT JUST TURNED ON AND DROVE FINE.. THERE WAS NO MIXTURE IN THE OIL WITH WATER OR ANYTHING. THRE WAS NO INDICATED WATER LINE WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE BUT IN MY OPINION I DO NOT THINK IT WAS HIGH AT ALL CONSIDERING HOW WELL THE VEHICLE WORKS. I AM NOT A MECHANIC AND I AM NOT VERY KNOWLEDGABLE WITH MERCEDES BENZ, SO WITH THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEMS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IM SURE WOULD NOT BE HARD TO FIX. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL RARE VEHICLE THAT NEEDS A LITTLE BIT OF LOVE.. WITH THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE I BELIEVE THIS CAR CAN BE 100% BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION. THANK YOU AND PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED, BEFORE BIDDING .. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 15 OR MORE POSITIVE FEEDBACK I WILL BLOCK YOU UNLESS SPECIALLY ARRANGED. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: WE BUY & SALE VEHICLES, THIS WAS NOT MY PERSONALLY, SO I DO NOT KNOW THE FULL HISTORY.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: WE would prefer you come see the vehicle in person, just so that there is no misunderstandings. If you cant come send a friend. This vehicle is located in Linden, NJ 07036, just contact me and set up a time Please if you have any questions pertaining to this vehicle ask before bidding. Vehicle is Sold as it.

Chris Harris and David Coulthard wring out a Mercedes Fintail at the N"urburgring
Thu, 17 Oct 2013If there's one thing we've learned from the latest video from Drive, it's that the combination of Chris Harris and David Coulthard will produce some very quotable moments. Take this exchange, for example.
DC: "We are by some way the slowest."
CH: "But we're in a class of three cars, apparently."
Infiniti went out of its way to make the QX30 not a Mercedes
Thu, Mar 16 2017You can complain all you want about perceived badge engineering when a company (like Mercedes-Benz) sells a platform to another brand (such as Infiniti). The reality is that most buyers won't know the difference, and they won't even realize their Infiniti is really a Mercedes underneath or that their neighbor's GLA has the same basic parts as the QX30 they just bought. What's weird to me isn't that sameness, but the places where the two cute little utes differ. These two vehicles, which are more like tall hatchbacks, use the same Mercedes 2.0-liter turbo four and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Infiniti adds its own throttle and transmission calibrations. The suspension design is the same, although there are tuning differences. Both come standard with front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive an option. Fuel economy matches for the FWD models, while the AWD Infiniti lags behind the Mercedes for some reason. So they're very similar despite their different looks. And design makes sense as a point of differentiation. Frankly, they go further than a lot of vehicles on shared platforms do – further, in fact, than the upcoming Nissan Navara-based Mercedes X-Class pickup does. The QX30 has its own sheetmetal and glass to separate it from the GLA-class. You probably think one looks better than the other. If you know where to look, the signs of sameness are obvious. Most major systems and pieces are shared, like the steering wheels (with different center covers), most switchgear, and things like interior and exterior door handles. Shared parts are fine as long as the parts are good ones. On that note, how many Tesla buyers realize their steering column and stalks, plus the window switches, come from Mercedes? And does that actually matter? We'd argue no. About those differences. Many are functional, like the fact the Infiniti does not carry over the Benz's Brake Hold feature – when you roll to a stop in the GLA (or any other Benz), pressing the brake pedal firmly applies the electric parking brake until you hit the gas to move again. The QX30 has an electric parking brake, but no Brake Hold feature. Someone used to driving Mercedes models will look a bit silly standing on the brake pedal to no effect. Ask us how we know. The Mercedes gauge package is carried over, but with the Infiniti font. Makes sense, although it's off-putting at first if you've seen the original, prompting a weird deja vu. Circular dash vents are replaced by rhomboid ones.
2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is business class without the jet lag
Thu, Nov 21 2019Mercedes-AMG demonstrated how sporty a mammoth SUV can be by unveiling the 2021 GLS 63 S at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. Across the Pacific, at the Guangzhou auto show in China, Mercedes-Maybach revealed another GLS variant that puts an unabashed focus on comfort. The 2021 GLS 600 ends years of rumors by finally taking Maybach into the SUV segment. (If you don't count the limited-edition G 650 Landaulet). It's not a standalone model developed from the ground up, and it's in no way related to the electric Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept introduced in 2018. It's a second-generation GLS dressed up in a Hugo Boss suit. Stylists spruced up the front end with Maybach's chromed waterfall grille and mesh inserts in the lower part of the bumper. An abundance of chrome trim (including big slabs of it in on the B-pillars) and Maybach emblems on the D-pillars further set the SUV apart from its non-Maybach-badged sibling. Buyers can order a two-tone paint job at an extra cost. 6.8-foot-long running boards automatically extend from under the body about a second after one of the passengers opens a door. Designers took advantage of the cavernous interior to replace the second- and third-row seats with a pair of business class-like chairs that offer heated, ventilated, massaging and reclining functions. Maybach developed the GLS with chauffeur-driven buyers in mind, so the passengers traveling in the back benefit from their own infotainment system with wireless headphones, folding tablets, wireless device chargers, plus heated and cooled cupholders. Alternatively, buyers can order the GLS as a five-seater with a three-person rear bench. The GLS 600 receives the twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine that's omnipresent in the Mercedes range. It delivers 550 horsepower from 6,000 to 6,500 rpm and 538 pound-feet of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm in this application, and it spins the four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Mercedes pegs its zero-to-60-mph time at 4.8 seconds. The standard 48-volt mild hybrid system briefly gives the GLS 600 an additional 21 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It also sends the kinetic energy it recuperates to the battery pack while braking or coasting, and powers a technology named E-Active Body Control which scans the road ahead and adjusts the suspension as needed if it detects a pothole, a bump or another obstacle.
