I asked a specialist what it would cost to make the paint flawless and he estimated the body work and paint at $1,200 dollars. The engine is clean and runs great. Interior is in great shape with clean carpet and new floor mats. The leather is in good shape. The speakers in this car sound good. The glass is all in good shape with no cracks. The car drives smooth and stable, but the cruise control does cut in and out at times. The factory rims have a few small chips."

This car is a classic Mercedes Benz 500sel in great condition. It has just under 76,000 miles and these cars are legendary for lasting over a half million miles on the same drivetrain. The car comes with all original parts besides the factory radio was updated with a premium Pioneer unit. The front dashboard speakers were also replaced with premium Pioneer 5"x7" speakers. The audio is clear and pleasing. The engine in this car is a 5.0 liter(303 cubic inches) naturally asperated v8, and the transmission is a center-shift four speed automatic. This car has the smoothest ride you could ask for with plenty of power to get you where you want to go. The interior is in good condition with clean carpet and new custom floor mats. The leater is in good condition with a one wear mark on the front driver seat from the seatbelt, but nothing that is soar on the eyes. The dashboard did have some cracking and pealing that I fixed with 3m interior dashboard glue. the cracks are still visible, but its all there and tough to notice. All seats in the car have heat, and the rear seat in the car reclines. The chrome on this car is all in great condition with little to no wear. The car is used and does have around 24 total micro surface scratches and dings that will not show up on the pictures and are hard to notice unless you look up close. I took the car to a body shop and they estimated the total cost to restore the exterior to brand new would be between $1,000 & $1,500. The sun roof on this car is the largest one I have ever seen. Included as extra is a car cover, the original floor mats, some extra fan belts, and extra rear door trim replacement. Thanks for looking.

Race recap: 2016 Hungarian Grand Prix was the pits

Mon, Jul 25 2016

The Hungarian Grand Prix hasn't seen a race this calculated since 2012, when Lewis Hamilton – driving for McLaren – led from pole position to the checkered flag. We don't expect massive action from the Hungaroring, but Hamilton's first win for Mercedes in 2013, the thrilling wet mess in 2014, and Ferrari's surprising dominance in 2015 made us hope for more on-track commotion this year. Hungary denied us that. Hamilton parked his Mercedes-AMG Petronas in second on the grid but stole the lead through Turn 1 and never looked back. Teammate Nico Rosberg yo-yoed behind him in second place, getting into DRS range on a few occasions but never close enough to pass. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo kept the leading duo honest, but the Aussie couldn't put genuine fear into the German team and finished third. This is the third year in a row for Ricciardo on the Hungary podium. The pits provided our few scraps of excitement. During a stretch when Ricciardo managed to close on Rosberg, Mercedes told Hamilton to speed up. When Hamilton said he couldn't go faster, Mercedes said they'd pit second-place Rosberg first instead. Suddenly, Hamilton found the extra pace. Ricciardo pitted in early, hoping that fresh tires and fast laps could allow him to pass one or both Mercedes drivers when they pitted, but once Hamilton hit the throttle the Red Bull couldn't respond. Further down the lineup, Jenson Button came in on Lap 5 so McLaren could fix his brake pedal problem. The radio exchange before the stop included one forbidden instruction to Button, though, so the Englishman had to return to the pits for a drive-through penalty. Renault's Jolyon Palmer beat Force India's Nico Hulkenberg in a straight-up pit stop battle on Lap 40, but threw the good work away on Lap 49 with a spin on track that cost him three places. A pit wall miscommunication meant the Force India pit crew wasn't ready for Sergio Perez when the Mexican arrived for his second stop on Lap 43. And Daniel Kvyat's regrettable run at Toro Rosso continued, first with car issues, then a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit lane. Sebastian Vettel brought his Ferrari home fourth, sniffing Ricciardo's gearbox at the flag but unable to get around the Red Bull. Max Verstappen enacted a replay of the final stages of the Spanish Grand Prix, finishing fifth by holding Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen behind for 19 laps.

These are the 'Greenest' and 'Meanest' cars in 2015

Fri, Feb 6 2015

As has become tradition, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has come up with a ranking of what it refers to as the "greenest" cars of 2015, and, by way of contrast, a list of the so-called "meanest" cars, so those who value eco-friendliness over all else can choose which vehicles they should or should not consider buying. As you may expect, electric cars make up the majority of the greenest cars on the list, but, perhaps surprisingly to many, the Tesla Model S didn't make the cut. It's worth noting, too, that where the electricity an owner uses to charge their electric vehicle has a big impact on its overall environmental impact. "A car that is charged using electricity generated from natural gas or renewables is going to have significantly less impact on the environment than one charged on a coal-heavy grid," says ACEEE lead vehicle analyst Shruti Vaidyanathan. The ACEEE's list for 2015 looks very different than it did in 2014. It's an interesting collection, though – and we're sure this goes without saying, really – we'd recommend doing a bit more research into each vehicle and how it might fit into your daily life before making any purchase decisions. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class revealed again in 1:18 scale

Fri, 10 May 2013

There is plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it could end up being a fairly anticlimactic reveal thanks to fully exposed spy shots, a leaked press photo and now images of a diecast version of the luxury sedan. Autoweek.nl has images showing a highly detailed 1:18 scale model of the redesigned S-Class that matches up with everything we've seen so far.
This isn't the first time a model car spoiled a new vehicle's reveal, as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 2013 SRT Viper were both unceremoniously revealed in toy form first. World Car Fans is reporting that the car 2014 S-Class will be officially unveiled on May 15, but at this point, all that's left to wonder about is the official on-sale date and what will be under the hood.
