1993 one owner, low mileage, Mercedes 500sl convertible with removable hard top.

Original one owner, low mileage and rust ree Florida Mercedes 500sl.

I am a South Carolina dealer.

In January of 2003 I bought this Mercedes, at the Florida, Auto Auction, in Ocoee (Orlando), from the Mercedes dealer from Ft Myers, FL.

This 500sl was traded in by the original owner, from new.

I drove the car back to Charleston, SC and on Feb 9, 2003, I had a severe stroke and have not driven since.

this 500sl has been kept inside my warehouse and driven very little, by my daughter and only on sunny days. I have spent money to keep the car maintained and in good running order. Left rear quater vinyl window, on the convertible top, has a crease from being in the down position for so long. Convertible top functions flawlessly.

Mercedes says it's tops in luxury sales for 2012, not BMW

It turns out that Mercedes-Benz North America has legitimate claim to being the top selling luxury nameplate in the US in 2012.
While sources such as Autodata had put BMW in the top spot, registration data from R.L. Polk shows that Mercedes customers registering new vehicles topped the Bavarian automaker in the most recent calendar year. Polk says Benz posted 274,123 registrations, compared with BMW's 268,498.
In terms of sales posted, BMW had bested Benz 281,460 to 274,134. But sales are recorded somewhat inconsistently from automaker to automaker. Some book the sales as soon as they are shipped from factory to dealer. There is perennial gamesmanship between the two German rivals, and the sales numbers suggest that BMW pushed out some extra sheetmetal to dealers in the last four weeks of the year.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class revealed again in 1:18 scale

There is plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it could end up being a fairly anticlimactic reveal thanks to fully exposed spy shots, a leaked press photo and now images of a diecast version of the luxury sedan. Autoweek.nl has images showing a highly detailed 1:18 scale model of the redesigned S-Class that matches up with everything we've seen so far.
This isn't the first time a model car spoiled a new vehicle's reveal, as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 2013 SRT Viper were both unceremoniously revealed in toy form first. World Car Fans is reporting that the car 2014 S-Class will be officially unveiled on May 15, but at this point, all that's left to wonder about is the official on-sale date and what will be under the hood.
