Up for sale its a 1997 Mercedes-Benz S500 LWB (Long Wheel Base) model. I got this car from a close family relative which owned it before me. This Mercedes it's in good condition in every aspect for the year and mileage. It's been owned in the family
since 80k miles and it's been taken good service care cosmetically & mechanically.  This vehicle drives and handles great.  No leaks ,smoking or any kind of weird bang noises anywhere.
In the past month it got brand new brake pads, original mercedes rotors & sensors on all around 4 wheels, brand new rear Oem coil springs and Sachs Oem shocks, also has a brand new power steering pump as well installed.  The SLS ( Self Leveling Suspension feature) on this vehicle has been deleted and we put the standard Suspension as noted above due to was more cost effective and not so smooth of a ride with the suspension.

Exterior Condition
The exterior of this vehicle is in good condition for the year and has been well cared for.  The paint is in good condition as it has a good shine and smooth finish. The exterior looks like a 75k mile vehicle. It has Factory Adaptive Xenon headlights and the lenses are very clean. The wheels are 18" AMG /// Monoclock Aero II and in great condition, the tires as well have about 90% tread one them..  It has a few  very tiny dents on right side door from parking lot carriages and a few in the trunk. It also has a scratch about a foot long on the right rear quarter panel which can be buffed out. it also has a rust spot bubble on each front fender lower part right where it meets with the front bumper.

Interior Condition

The interior of this Mercedes is VERY clean and in great condition for the year and mileage. The carpets look great and the floor mats just show some wear.  The front seats show ALMOST NO wear and the back seats look brand new. The rear trunk area is clean with no damage.  All dash areas and door panels are very clean. There is no odors holes or pet hair anywhere in upholstery. We do not smoke or have any pets. Every option on the interior works including power seats, power door locks, power windows, heated seats, am/fm radio cd changer, and power antenna.

This car is in great condition in every way, the motor runs great and is very smooth and strong, starts fine with no issues or noises whatsoever.  All driving components work just as they should, the transmission is nice and tight and shifts very smooth through every gear.  The complete drive-train has no issues.  As  for being a used car you will find some minor wear from it being driven, both interior and exterior. The AC is ICE cold.  I am still driving it daily so the mileage may increase between posting and sale.

Consumer Reports selling its road-tested roadsters [w/video]

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

Here's a chance to acquire a celebrity-owned vehicles, and this time at a discount instead of a premium. So the celebrity in this case is Consumer Reports, that magazine that could be equally adored and abhored by car enthusiasts. CR buys all of its test vehicles and usually finds willing second owners within its own ranks, but its opening its small used-car lot to the public. On the forecourt are four roadsters: an automatic 2012 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-Tronic with 6,600 miles for $36,500, a manual 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i with 8,400 miles for $45,000, a manual 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK250 for $39,500 and a manual 2013 Porsche Boxster with 7,000 miles for $48,000.
Those numbers mean a savings of $9,000 to $10,000 before haggling - each car is listed with an "Asking price" so there could be some wiggle room if you show up with pockets full of dough and eyes full of serious intent. Since the money CR earns from the sales go back into the magazine's budget to buy more test cars, however, it probably won't take any oddball trades, so you can forget about getting any purchasing help from that track-day AMC Javelin project on blocks in the back yard.
The vehicles have been taken care of and spiffed up for sale; buyers will take delivery at the CR test track in East Haddam, Connecticut and get a tour of the facilities. While you're there they'll even take you on a lap around the track so you can feel how your car handles when driven by one of its testers. They will probably not help you with advice on which toaster and dehumidifier to buy - you'll still need to get a subscription for that. Have a look at the video below to see a day in the life of a CR test car.

Mercedes teams with Pebble for smartwatch tech

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Most automakers have realized by now that a good infotainment system is a must-have feature for many buyers, and have, as a result, invested increasing amounts of time and money developing these technologies. But some automakers are going above and beyond in-car entertainment and navigation technology by focusing on wearable technology as well.
Nissan has emerged as one such company, developing its own alternative to Google Glass and performance-oriented smartwatch. But Mercedes-Benz is also putting itself at the forefront of wearable tech - not by developing competing products to those designed by dedicated tech companies, but by working with them. The German automaker, as we recently reported, is developing its own app for Google Glass, and is now doing the same with smartwatches as well.
Set to be unveiled at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Mercedes has collaborated with Pebble Technologies to develop the Digital DriveStyle app. The system will display tell its wearer where the car is, whether the doors are locked and if it needs fuel. Inside the car it'll alert the driver to potential hazards coming up on the road, while making functions like re-routing the nav system, controlling the audio system or activating Siri that much easier.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.
