For sale is a 2004 Mercedes Benz S500V with 97,000 miles. This car has never had major body damage and runs well. It has the sports package with AMG wheels and leather interior. It has a 6 cd changer in the trunk. It got a new transmission at 70,000 miles. This car is not dented or damaged other than some superficial scratches in places (rims, bumper). It is missing one little adjustment button on the inside of the door handle on the front passenger side door as can be seen in the photos but this adjustment lever works fine. The leather interior is in excellent condition and in fact the plastic cover was just pulled off the rear interior of the car a year ago. The cup holder in the center console is damaged and not functioning. The interior of the car is in very good to excellent used condition.

German carmakers recall 630,000 diesel vehicles in Europe
Fri, Apr 22 2016Mercedes, Opel, Porsche, and Volkswagen will recall over 630,000 cars in Europe, according to reports Friday. No diesel car has been able to get under the legal emissions limit in real-world driving, according to a German government investigation. While only Volkswagen Group has been using a specific "defeat device", other carmakers have been playing with their exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems. Depending of the manufacturer, the systems have been cut off at a certain temperature. In a specific test cycle the systems operate to fulfill the legal requirements, but in everyday use the limits are exceeded. According to the magazine Der Spiegel, the supplier Bosch is behind this programming and has provided it to all German automakers. The mentioned carmakers have announced recalls, but many other manufacturers are also mentioned by name in the report, including Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Nissan, Renault, and Suzuki. PSA Group, which produces Peugeot, Citroen, and DS cars, declared yesterday that its offices were raided following an emissions investigation. Mercedes dealers authorized to spend $2,500 on perks for S-Class customers
Mon, 02 Dec 2013If you drop $100,000 on a luxury sedan, it seems only reasonable to receive some preferential treatment at the dealership you purchased from. After all, that price isn't just for the car - you're paying for the brand and all the cachet that entails. For Mercedes-Benz, those benefits have apparently been lacking relative to the German brand's luxury competitors.
That's set to change, though, as Automotive News reports that the German brand is placing a much greater emphasis on keeping its customers happy and loyal with its MB Select program. Starting with the new S-Class and spreading to the CLA-Class (and eventually beyond), dealers are being given money - up to $2,500 in the case of the flagship sedan - just to improve the customer experience.
We agree, improving the "customer experience" is quite a vague term, so it's nice that Mercedes USA's CEO, Steve Cannon, offered up some examples to AN at the LA Auto Show. For example, a customer couldn't fit his sunglasses into the overhead compartment. "So we bought him a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that fit because of their shape," Cannon said.
