Below are the details. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
-1992 500 sel white/grey ext, mushroom interior.
-W220 AMG staggered wheels.
-116k+ miles.
-I bought it from the original owner family.
-Always garaged since new.
-Previous owner didn't keep records but I did since I got it. Below are the items I've done:
+New engine mounts.
+New rear accumulators.
+Used known good EZL.
+New belt tensioner.
+New distributor caps. (old ones are original since new and nothing's wrong. But my mechanic pointed out that there is an updated part so I swapped it out when replaced the EZL)
+New kick down switch.
+Oil changes every 4k-5k with mobil 1 synthetic oil.
+New battery.
-The wiring harness is almost new (previous owner mentioned he swapped it already and my mechanic inspected the wires and all seems to be in good order. You can check it on your own.)
-Still has original key box. Two remote keys and one valet key.
-Interior is immaculate with no tears or worn spots.
-All electronics work. AC blows ice cold. Soft close works on all doors and trunk (including the close assist flap).
-Rear power bench with seat heaters.
-Transmission shifts very smooth.
-The car rides and drives very well.
-Engine idle is very stable and temp never goes above 100. Always btw 80 and 100 no matter how hot outside. Speaking of temps, the aux fans works just fine.
-Engine doesn't burn oil. Doesn't leak any fluids.
-Paint is still shinny and has a lot of life left. Usual small nicks and chips.
That's the good stuff that I can think of. I'll update if I can think of more.
Here are some cons:
-When engaging the turn signal, the dash warnings blink for a split second. Everything is still functional and no issues with operation but just blinks really quick.
-One of the rear vanity mirror lock is broken so I have to keep it in place with small piece of paper.
-Radio works fine but just needs a little warming up. When you turn it on, the sound is weak but after a couple of minutes it sounds just fine. (One of the best sounding systems I have heard, better than the H.K sys in my dad'sw221 and better than the lynn sys in my DB9. )
Well that's pretty much it. Some of you may ask why am I selling it?? The answer is .. I am bored. I need something different. I need something with manual tran. My DB9 is auto, w124 is auto and the w140 is auto, so I want something small, fun and with manual tran.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. Project Maybach is an absurd, awesome off-road electric coupe
Wed, Dec 1 2021Mercedes has created some mighty unusual concepts for the Maybach luxury brand. The Exelero high-speed test car and the Ultimate Luxury SUV sedan come to mind. But the Project Maybach, designed in collaboration with late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, may be the wildest yet, being an electric off-road coupe. It's not just the fact it's a two-door off-road coupe. It's the fact that it's a nearly 20-foot-long two-door off-road coupe. And it has very traditional proportions and lines, with a gargantuan front end, and a somewhat less gargantuan rear end. It's squared-off, but in a more elegant, midcentury luxury car way than say, a Hummer. And of course, it has a huge chrome grille and highly embellished taillights, complete with Maybach logos. And yet, this old-school coupe sits high off the ground. It rolls on small, steel-style wheels with chunky tires. It even has skid plates, bolt-on fender flares, rock rails and a roll cage with a roof basket. It's all painted in a matte tan paint that makes it look like a desert-ready expedition vehicle. It's even arguably practical for expedition work. The somewhat spartan-looking interior has tan leather seats that recline fully flat for sleeping. Being an electric car with long areas unoccupied by people, plus that roof basket, it likely has loads of cargo space. On the hood are solar panels that might provide a bit of range, but would at least be handy for recouping some power for accessories. The interior seems to have additional storage bins and tools stowed in special compartments around the cabin. As for the actual performance and range, well, Mercedes has nothing specific. That's not entirely surprising, since this seems to be solely a design exercise. As such, don't expect to see a production model anytime soon. Then again, off-road luxury vehicles are certainly popular. Maybe Mercedes would consider it if there were enough seriously wealthy customers expressing interest. Related video:
Mercedes CLA a sub-$30k car no more
Fri, Dec 12 2014To be honest, the sub-$30,000 Mercedes-Benz CLA was more a theoretical than a real thing. Squeaking in at $100 below that magical threshold, not counting a $925 destination charge, snagging a CLA anywhere near $30k meant exercising extreme self-control with the options catalog. Perhaps with that thinking in mind, Mercedes is set to effectively scrap the entire idea, with Cars Direct claiming the price on a new CLA is set to increase by about five percent, to $31,500. Adding 4Matic all-wheel drive brings the starting price to $33,500. Even the hot CLA45 AMG is getting a price bump, from $47,450 to $48,500. Frankly, it's impossible to miss where Mercedes is coming from with this move, if it actually happens. The CLA has been one of 2014's unmitigated success stories, selling so well that Mercedes has struggled to keep up with demand. Considering that, a modest price hike is to be expected.
