Hello, here is a nice 560sl, with original equipment . this car was bought from an insurance and fixed. the left fender and suspension parts were replaced and the car is aligned. This car is very clean in and out. seat apear in good shape. dash is in great shape. interior overall is in great shape for the age. There are no signs of rust on the outside, Also it is a California car. Dont know how many owners it had since i bought to fix and sell. It drives also good , engine feels very strong and quite. There is no oil leaks from engine or transmission , there is some oil spots on the staring box but noting major. The top looks in great shape, I don't know if it has been replaced by previous owner or not. it opens and closes normally.Car has original stereo, antenna works AC works, heater and all lights work. car even has the original 1st aid kit. Mercedes says it's tops in luxury sales for 2012, not BMW
Tue, 19 Feb 2013It turns out that Mercedes-Benz North America has legitimate claim to being the top selling luxury nameplate in the US in 2012.
While sources such as Autodata had put BMW in the top spot, registration data from R.L. Polk shows that Mercedes customers registering new vehicles topped the Bavarian automaker in the most recent calendar year. Polk says Benz posted 274,123 registrations, compared with BMW's 268,498.
In terms of sales posted, BMW had bested Benz 281,460 to 274,134. But sales are recorded somewhat inconsistently from automaker to automaker. Some book the sales as soon as they are shipped from factory to dealer. There is perennial gamesmanship between the two German rivals, and the sales numbers suggest that BMW pushed out some extra sheetmetal to dealers in the last four weeks of the year.
