The car has the following options: 93,557 ACTUAL MILES! 4.5L V-8/Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes AM/FM/Cassette Stereo Leather Interior Graphic Equalizer Air Conditioning Tilt Wheel Power Windows & Locks This car was manufactured in Germany back in 1977 and brought into the USA for sale. This beautiful car doesn’t drive much differently than when it was new. It runs extremely well. If you’re looking for that unique car to keep in your garage for special occasions or perhaps, to go to car shows, this Mercedes is one fine automobile. We believe all options in the car are in working condition. The radio is aftermarket and there is a nice equalizer in the glove box. They are definitely upgrades from what was installed in 1977. It’s wintertime in Cleveland, so we have not tested the air conditioning. We think it works, but cannot guarantee it. The title will read “actual miles” and is clean. This was basically a one-owner car for most of its life and was meticulously maintained! As you’ll see in the Photobucket pics, we have all of the manuals. The car has a lot of new parts and is ready to be driven daily or like I mentioned earlier, used for those special occasions. Mercedes caught testing stretched E-Class Maybach
Fri, Aug 21 2015The Mercedes-Maybach S600 won't be the only vehicle to wear the hyphenated name of two of the world's automotive luxury greats. That hulking S-Class will soon be joined by an E-Class variant, which should offer the same touch of subtle luxury as its big brother. At least, that's what we're guessing based on the latest round of spy photos, showing a stretched E-Class with some very telling camouflage. Pay attention, as our spies did, to the rear doors and C-pillar. Like the Maybach S600, the E-Class model features a larger quarter window, although unlike the S, the doors here look to be a bit larger than your usual E550 or E250. Also take note of the heavy tint on those rear windows. It's likely there to obscure whatever sumptuous hides and warm woods Maybach has fitted to the typically business-class interior. While the interior materials are likely to see sweeping changes, expect Mercedes to treat the exterior with a much gentler touch. There'll probably be some unique wheels and C-pillar-mounted Maybach badges, like what we've already seen on the S600. 2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists
Sat, Oct 24 2015Not only are commercial-grade haulers getting more green love lately, they're getting more different kinds of green love. The 2016 Green Truck of the Year, the second time the award has been handed out, is being decided by judges from Green Car Journal and the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. This year the award is joined by the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, which crowns one of the little vans increasingly used by small business as cargo and delivery vehicles. The Green Truck of the Year finalists are the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax (pictured), Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. The first three of those were on last year's list, but since they are completely new or upgraded for 2016 - Ford with its all-aluminum body, the General Motors twins with the new diesel Duramax engine - they qualify for entry again. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel won last year. The Commercial Green Car finalists are the Chevrolet City Express, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan NV200, and Ram ProMaster City. Daimler buying 12% stake in Beijing Auto
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Daimler and Beijing Automotive are officially going steady, with the German company set to take a 12-percent stake in the Chinese brand tomorrow. The two are already tied up in a Mercedes engine plant in Beijing, of which BAIC will increase its stake in, from 50 to 51 percent. Daimler will also get two seats on the Chinese company's board. BAIC may also gain the ability to produce cars on Mercedes-Benz platforms, according to Automotive News Europe.
The investment in BAIC comes ahead of that company's initial public offering, according to a report form Bloomberg, which indicates the deal will be inked tomorrow in the Chinese capital. According to the report, if the circumstances are right, BAIC may turn around and invest in the Germany company "soon."
It's not entirely clear just how much the 12-percent cut is costing Daimler, although it seems reasonable to assume that, as it's ahead of the IPO, the parent company of Mercedes is getting a bit of a bargain.
