For Sale: A very nice clean old big body Mercedes sedan. Its the big body with the smaller V8 engine. Best of both worlds with gas at 4.75 a gallon. This is a own owner car that was garage kept. Paint is solid w/ no clear coat fading. Grey interior leather is clean as well. Car drives solid. Has excellent tires in Pirelli P6's w/ 85% of tread life still available. Brakes are solid. This car cruises very nicely on the freeway.
This car passed CA state smog test so it is for sale in all 50 states. CA buyers must pay sales tax. Personal plates on the car were removed by the buyer. CA title is clear. 15.00 Transfer fee for a new CA title in your name and new CA plates. Out of state buyers will get current CA title signed off ready for transfer to your state where you will get new plates in your home state. Car is as clean of a daily driver as you will find for being 28 years old. Miles are actual. This car does not have the factory radio. Aftermarket Alpine installed mid 90's. Cassette / CD Changer model. CD changer has not been tested. This car has original R12 Air Conditioning and has not been updated. Freon is low and system blows luke cold. It is still coming out colder than outside air, but weakly at best. If you live in warm areas and want cold a/c it is 150.00 to convert over to R134. Sunroof is operational, and all 4 windows work. New Die Hard movie wrecked 132 cars in $11 million chase scene [w/video]

According to John Moore, director of A Good Day To Die Hard, starring Bruce Willis, There were 132 (cars) that could never be used again. Another 518 required a lot of work. And damn right there were some good cars there... That's the fun of it."

"With Die Hard it's about how audacious the action is," says Moore. "So you have to drive over a Lamborghini. An actual one. And yes it hurts me. I'm a car fanatic." Yeah. Sounds like it hurt really bad... though not as bad as the final tally after all the carnage had been counted: "Someone showed me the numbers on the car chase and soup to nuts, you put it all together it was like an $11 million sequence."

Mon, 25 Mar 2013In a world where the YouTube hoax continues to thrive, it's hard to know what to think of this little vid, but here are the facts as we know them: a coupe that looks like a first-generation Mercedes-Benz CLK gets crushed by a giant front-end loader. There you have it.
Our questions arise in the aftermath - we know industrial resource machinery is heavy, but the Benz gets squashed so flat we wonder if someone's trying to play a joke on us. We hear that the white coupe may have been the heavy-equipment operator's foreman's car, but who knows? The on-camera interview seems awfully conveniently placed, yes? Mercedes-Benz CLA stars in sweeping short with supermodel Karlie Kloss
Wed, 16 Jan 2013The Mercedes-Benz CLA earned itself a spot on our list of the top five unveils of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and for good reason. The German luxury compact is the first small car from the Silver Arrow that looks suitably premium inside and out. Nowness.com has turned out a new video of the CLA featuring super model Karlie Koss in the lead role. We aren't entirely sure what the premise is, but from what we can tell, it looks as if the CLA comes to life and proceeds to be a giant jerk.
After Koss stops to take a closer look at a white horse, the CLA gives the supermodel the old stop-and-go treatment before leaving her on the side of the road. Eventually, the sedan makes nice, but Koss has to ride shotgun instead of taking the controls herself. You can check out the video below to see for yourself.
