Not a Miss America, but a great work horse, runs and drive nicely, transmission and engine are good, reliable car.

This model is the larger engine 3Liters, 6 Cyl which is more reliable and more powerful than the 2.5 engine.  In the intent to CLEARLY describe the vehicle sold at this auction and avoid any issues or misleads theses are the pros and cons that I am aware off:

I LOWER THE PRICE, BECAUSE NO ROOM TO KEEP IT. IT MUST GO.

THE GOOD

  • -Engine is strong and runs great, no knocks, no abnormal noises, no abnormal smoke.
  • -Transmission shifting as it should
  • -Great in gas (DIESEL I mean :-)  )
  • -Good tires tread
  • -Straight body, strong frame and healthy undercarriage
  • -All doors, and tail gate shut and close properly
  • -New headlights set recently installed "euro style" regular bulbs !
  • -super reliable engine
  • -great undercarriage
  • -Hydraulic suspension work great
  • -Paint is very shinny still, no faded peeling

THE NOT SO GOOD

  • -The Odometer ceased working a year ago, it should be around 280k miles, will be sold mileage not actual !
  • -Dashboard have cracks on  it  and some plastic moldings are broken or missing.Headlights wipers has been removed
  • -Sunroof not working
  • -Left rear seat is damaged as seen on picture

RUNS AND DRIVE AS A MERCEDES SHOULD !

Please note: I do have an extra 3td seat bench that was in my other wagon, if needed I will give it to the bidder for $100. I haven't installed because the third seat is blue ... But it fit this car.

Theses aren't any major issues, mostly accessories and/or cosmetics, the Mercedes should be good to drive  the way it is.

$500 non refundable deposit is due at the end of auction, remainder within 5 days. I did describe the car the best of my ability, I may have foreseen something, but most of the issues that Im aware of has been clearly described and noted.

Pick up within 7 DAYS .... CAN HELP WITH SHIPPING.  CAR IS LOCATED AT SHUYLER FALLS NY 12985

PLEASE BEAR ON MIND THE CAR IS 26 YEARS OLD, NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AND COMON SENSE APPLY !  ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.

Mercedes Makes A Mighty Little Sedan
We got overexcited when the W203 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan came out in 2001, calling it the "Baby Benz" when it really wasn't. We knew that, too, but our enthusiasm for a model more like the old 190 of the '80s was so strong that we were willing to stretch the first-gen C-Class to fit that mold. Today, the C-Class has done what all German premium cars do: grown in size. In this case, grown to satisfy the market intentions of the previous E-Class.
There was the tall A-Class sold from 1998 through 2010, but we never considered that a serious small Benz in the proper spirit, nor was it ever offered in the US. Regardless, we've been craving a smaller, premium, sexy sedan all the while.

Trump reportedly says he wants to wipe German cars off the U.S. map

Thu, May 31 2018

BERLIN/FRANKFURT — A report that U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to pursue German carmakers until there are no Mercedes-Benz rolling down New York's Fifth Avenue dented shares in the luxury car manufacturers on Thursday. An excerpt from German magazine Wirtschaftswoche's article, which cited several unnamed European and U.S. diplomats but did not include any direct quotes, could not be independently verified, while a U.S. Embassy spokesman in Berlin referred questions to Washington. The news and current affairs magazine said Trump had told French President Emmanuel Macron in April that he aimed to push German carmakers out of the United States altogether. Macron's administration in Paris declined to comment on the report. The Trump administration last week opened a so-called Section 232 trade investigation into vehicle imports, which could result in a 25 percent tariff on cars on the same "national security" grounds Washington used to impose metals duties in March. This could destroy exports by German carmakers, which control 90 percent of the U.S. premium market and are the biggest European Union exporters of cars to the United States. BMW owns Rolls-Royce, while Daimler has Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen controls Bentley, Bugatti, Porsche and Audi. Daimler, BMW and Audi declined comment. Porsche was not immediately available for comment. BMW shares were trading 0.5 percent lower at 0939 GMT, while Daimler and VW's shares were down 1 percent and 1.6 percent respectively, underperforming Germany's blue-chip DAX. Trump has railed against German carmakers before. And in early 2017, in an interview with German newspaper Bild, he said he would impose 35 percent tariffs on imported cars. At the time, the president called Germany a great car producer but said that the business relationship with the United States was an unfair one-way street. Germany's auto industry association VDA says its members exported 657,000 vehicles to North America last year, with total exports of vehicle components, cars, engines, as well as second-hand vehicles totaling 31.2 billion euros in 2016. Imports from the United States to Germany amounted to 7.4 billion euros, meaning a trade deficit of 23.8 billion euros the VDA's latest available figures show. However, German brands also have huge factories in the United States, where they built 804,000 cars last year, VDA said, providing jobs for U.S. workers. Berlin has reacted angrily to the U.S.

Mercedes-Benz CLA stars in sweeping short with supermodel Karlie Kloss

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

The Mercedes-Benz CLA earned itself a spot on our list of the top five unveils of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and for good reason. The German luxury compact is the first small car from the Silver Arrow that looks suitably premium inside and out. Nowness.com has turned out a new video of the CLA featuring super model Karlie Koss in the lead role. We aren't entirely sure what the premise is, but from what we can tell, it looks as if the CLA comes to life and proceeds to be a giant jerk.
After Koss stops to take a closer look at a white horse, the CLA gives the supermodel the old stop-and-go treatment before leaving her on the side of the road. Eventually, the sedan makes nice, but Koss has to ride shotgun instead of taking the controls herself. You can check out the video below to see for yourself.
