1984 Mercedes-benz 300td Base Wagon 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Bartlesville, Oklahoma, United States
1984 Mercedes-Benz 300TD, Ivory exterior (MB color code 623), Palomino interior. This is a beautiful car in fantastic overall condition. The car has been fully serviced and the valves have been adjusted. In 2010 the transmission was completely rebuilt--receipts in the glove box. The a/c was serviced 2 months ago and it blows cold. This wagon always starts up right away, has lots of power and shifts perfectly. There are a couple of minor imperfections (as with any 30 year old car) that I will list in the interest of full disclosure. Power antenna is broken, driver's side rear view mirror has a hair line crack, there is a small star in the passenger side windshield and the rear passenger window does not operate. Overall this is a superior example and a classy looking Benz! These cars are really popular right now and one of the few classic cars reliable and tough enough to be used as daily drivers. At 187,400 miles the 3.0 diesel engine is just breaking in. These engines routinely run 500K+ miles with regular maintenance.
If you have any questions about the car or would like additional pictures please send me an email and I will get back to you right away. Thanks! |

2015 Mercedes C-Class order guide leaked
Wed, 23 Apr 2014We may not have an official starting price for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but as of right now, we can tell you about all the options for the eagerly anticipated new luxury sedan.
Benz Report has the entire order guide for the C-Class, with breakdowns from package pricing to how many different colors, wheel designs and lighting configurations will be available when the new model hits dealers later this year. As we mentioned in our initial review of the C-Class, there will be a pair of engine options, with the now familiar 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations and a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, which can be had in all-wheel drive, only.
From there, though, the available options are impressive. Much like it does on the current car, Mercedes is offering a pair of packages that sort of define the entire car. With the C300, buyers will have the choice of either a Sport or Luxury package in addition to the base trim, while C400 buyers are limited to the Sport model.

Mercedes-AMG teases GT interior, announces fall 2014 debut
Tue, 15 Apr 2014Mercedes-Benz opted to tease the assembled media at its post-New York Auto Show party, showing off a pair of images of the exquisitely crafted interior of the highly anticipated successor of the SLS AMG - the V8-powered Mercedes-AMG GT.
Slated for a debut in the fall at either Paris or Los Angeles (we're betting Paris), you'll note straight away that there's something wrong with this car's name. Where's the "Benz?" Well, it's been ditched to, as Mercedes says, "make the dream of the authentic Mercedes-AMG sports car come true." Sorry Karl.
"The new Mercedes-AMG GT proves that we will be positioning AMG as a dynamic sports car brand even more strongly and aggressively than before," said Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG.
