This 1984 Mercedes wagon was finished in "light ivory" ( MB color code 623) with Palomino color MB-tex interior . This is a very elegant and practical color combination and it was the most popular color for this model at the time . The paint is in great condition . There are no scratches dings or dents and the paint shines like new . This car really stands out and i do get compliments every time i drive it . The interior is very clean as well , as the many pictures will show . There are no rips or tears in the seats . The carpets are clean and even the wood is in wonderful condition .The 123 series Mercedes have a great reputation for being some of the best built and engineered cars Mercedes ever made. They are very reliable and they still get you 27 mpg of diesel . In 1981 Mercedes introduced the turbo charger for the 3 liter diesel engine . Now they also had plenty of power . This car is truly fun to drive in town and on the freeway . It reminds you of a time , when cars were built to last you a lifetime and not only until the next model comes along . This Mercedes wagon has only 187k miles on it , which is actually considered low mileage for this particular 30 year old model . They often last for well over 500k miles. There are several Mercedes diesel with the same engine on Ebay right now with over 400k miles and still driving well . If you keep maintaining this car the way it has been serviced so far , it will transport you in style for a very long time . It has been fully serviced and the valves have been adjusted . In 2010 the transmission  was completely rebuilt and i also have the receipts for it . The AC was serviced 2 months ago and it blows nice and cold . This wagon always starts up right away , has lots of power and shifts perfectly . It would make a wonderful vehicle for somebody who wants to drive a classic car every day and not worry about it breaking down all the time . It would also be a great candidate for a bio diesel conversion , where you can drive it on vegetable oil or even free waste oil from restaurants . I have never tried it on this car , but i was told , it is a easy conversion and this engine is ideal for it . This wagon could also work for a collector . You just do not see them often that clean and with less than 250k miles anymore . This is a wonderful 30 year old classic car in great condition and it will be sold WITHOUT a warranty . I would prefer to sell it locally to somebody who could come out and see it . But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up . All shipping charges would have to be paid by the winning bidder . Please do have your funding in order and do all your " due diligence " BEFORE placing a bid .If you have any questions or would like to see the car , please send me an email through Ebay and will get back to you promptly . Thank you for looking at my auction and good luck ....

Mercedes fits new C-Class with AMG kit

Sat, 28 Dec 2013

It's only been a week and a half since Mercedes-Benz revealed the new C-Class, and it'll likely be a while yet before the replacement for the C63 AMG comes along. But if you want to see a preview of what it'll look like, look no further than the AMG aero kit that has just surfaced.
Expected to debut on the new C-Class at the fast-approaching Detroit Auto Show, the AMG Line Exterior Pack adds a new bumpers front and rear, side skirts, dual exhaust tips, mesh grille, aluminum window frames and - most importantly - 18-inch alloys packing upgraded brakes and fitted to a lowered sport suspension. All of which will help any C-Class look the part, even if the engine remains stock.

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe spied in revealing state of dress

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

During a product briefing earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz told us that 2013 would be the "year of the S-Class." Makes sense, too, since the flagship Mercedes is so very close to finally showing its production-ready face. But the high-tech saloon isn't the only S-Class to talk about this year - quite the contrary. Seen here in decidedly revealing camouflage, the new S-Class Coupe will be joining its four-door compadre in the not-too-distant future, as well.
When it launches, the S-Class Coupe will officially do away with the CL-Class nomenclature. This doesn't come as a huge shock. After all, when the new E-Class coupe and convertible were launched, it officially marked the end of the long-running CLK-Class designation.
Thanks to the interesting camouflage seen here, we have a very good glimpse at how the S-Class Coupe will look when all of the molding and swirly paper are peeled off. Rakish body lines pulled from the CLS-Class meet a much more dynamic front fascia. Out back, there are horizontal taillamps rather than the vertical units used on the current car, and the whole package seems very svelte. Our spy photographer even posits that this will be "the best-looking car from Mercedes-Benz in ages."

Mercedes-Benz Concept GLA gets official ahead of Shanghai

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Mercedes-Benz has something special planned for the Shanghai Motor Show - a new CUV concept that we first saw when it leaked on the internet yesterday. The GLA Concept compact crossover will hit the show stand with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive, and likely previews a new production model that we've already spotted testing.
That's not news, but the laser-based headlamps with video-projecting capability certainly are. Mercedes-Benz says the array can project any image or video onto a screen, which is handy since there are a pair of HD cameras mounted to the roof rack. The cameras can be removed and taken with you on all sorts of adventures. The lamps also feature a visible cooling system comprised of a series of fans, and the system helps give the headlights their "sparkle" effect.
Step indoors and the GLA offers up the interior of a high-quality crossover, complete with contrasting leather and plenty of aluminum. The automaker says the cabin was inspired by saddle craftsmanship with "more than 65 feet of hand-stitched seams to hold the raw edges of the leather together."
