Hello, I am selling my baby, my 1993 Silver Mazda Rx-7. The car has 66,100 miles on the original Pettit maintained engine.   I have owned my 93 Rx-7 for 5 years now.  I bought the silver base with dual oil coolers with 44,000 miles. I have done many upgrades with the help of Cam from Pettit Racing in West Palm Beach Fl. Luckily I live about 30 miles away and make the trip twice a year for maintenance. Since I bought the car I have never had any problem with the car, it came with a Borla exhaust also a custom inner cooler.  There is a boost gauge on the A pillar that shows a healthy 14lb boost under full throttle. I also upgraded the KYB struts to Pettit Coil overs.  Also the brakes and rotors were upgraded to Pettit Racing slotted rotors and bear break pads. The break lines were upgraded to braided stainless steel as well as the clutch line. The motors compressor was removed and all the vacuum hoses replaced, over flow tank upgraded to aluminum, and a Pettit Racing air separator to deflect hot air away from the air intake was added.   Petit Racing performed all the work, they also recommend that I refresh the shifter and linkage, which was done at the same time.  The rear differential mount was replaced also.  All of these upgrades were done at about 47,000 miles.

Envy Motors added the custom 20 inch TSW Negaros wheels. The tires are Toyo Proxes I have about 5500 miles on them have done a great job and have held up great. front 245 30 20 rear 285 25 20 I am also storing the original wheels and tires in a safe dry place.

Audio Creations added a Cobra remote start alarm with 2 way radio key pad, K-40 radar and laser jammers. The stereo jams!  There are 2 Jl Audio 8 inch subs in a custom fiberglass color matched enclosure with a digital Jl 5 channel amp molded into the box all set between the rear struts. Light and clean.
All jl co ax mids and highs as not to cut anything in the car, and an alpine cd head unit with input plug and iphone hook up.

The body, I pained the R1 lip silver, also i deleted the Mazda emblem on the front bumper, and blacked out the corner markers, also the windows are tinted

I drive the car about 100 miles a week and add Protek in every tank of gas to expend the life of the engine, I love driving it and am only selling it to make room for a Nissan GTR.  I hope you enjoy the photos

If you are serious call me and we will talk about all the details. The car runs like a top, does not leak, cold Ac, could be a daily driver if desired. Victor 561 244 6600 this is a land line and I can not respond to text messages Thank you

    Mazda builds 4-millionth Mazda3

    Tue, 25 Feb 2014

To say that the Mazda3 is a vital product for Mazda would be one heck of an understatement. In fact, the model line accounts for about 30 percent of the manufacturer's sales. Fortunately for Mazda, they're selling well.
These days, the Japanese automaker is building the Mazda3 (known domestically as the Axela) in Japan, China, Thailand and, as of last month, in Mexico. The company's expanded global production capacity has helped Mazda reach four million units of the Mazda3 sold around the world since the first model was introduced over ten and a half years ago.
Over the course of that decade since its introduction in June 2003, Mazda has gone through three generations of Mazda3, the newest model benefiting from the company's Skyactiv technology and even encompassing a hybrid model in the Japanese Domestic Market.

Here's what you had to say about the Tokyo Motor Show

    Fri, Oct 27 2017

We obsessively covered the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. You, our readers, provided the color commentary. Read on and, of course, leave your comments below. Subaru Viziv Performance Concept: Remember the WRX concept they showed in 2013, and what the production version looked like in 2015? Pepperidge Farm remembers. wooootles 2 foot high wing on the trunk or gtfo :) sc0rch3d Mazda Kai Concept : Dear Honda, this is how you dynamically style a hatchback. Thank you. Dfelix70 Kudos to KODO design. There are so many things I love about this "Kai" car: the awesome split panoramic sunroof, the Jaguar-esque tails (sporting an "eyebrow up"... ala The Rock), a sleek family resemblance to the already beautiful CX-5 and CX-9. Seems suspiciously close to being a production ready Mazda3 — save for a few fanciful bits (door handles, mirrors etc). If it doesn't get too watered down by the time it hits the streets ... take my money! Randy Ross Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept: As an 06 IX and 12 X owner, this is so upsetting. I will never buy this or care to give it another look. Hope you are glad you killed my favorite track-ready car to produce this electric junk. AcidTonic Picture the GT-R going away for a few years and coming back as an SUV. This is ridiculous. Surely someone in marketing could've came up with another cool name. Evo The Evo sedan is dead, whether this exists or not. I don't mind. Lada1200 Honda Sports EV Concept : I sure would like to see this "less is more" design aesthetic spread to their gas-powered production line. RustyShackleford Love it. I see glimpses of late 1970 Scirocco with Honda flair. Gintonics I just want ONE question answered in the affirmative, and that is... "RWD?" Henadenk AND A FEW FROM FACEBOOK: Toyota's press conference: Wake me up when they talk about the Supra. David Levinson Yamaha Cross Hub Concept: All I can think is modern day Brat, which has its own kind of charm. I'm assuming that it's a unibody design, but it seems happy to be its own thing rather than that crossover pretending to be a pickup called the Ridgeline. Would definitely take the Yamaha over the Honda, although I doubt it'll come to the states. Cole Henry Mazda Vision Coupe Concept: Face: KIA K7, Tail: Aston martin. Harold Shin A bit British, no? Goodbye Zoom-Zoom, Driving Matters is Mazda's new slogan [w/video]

    Thu, May 21 2015

Timed with the launch of the 2016 MX-5 Miata, Mazda is now changing gears with its advertising strategy in the US by launching a whole new slogan. The Japanese brand's latest marketing motto takes a much more direct approach than Zoom-Zoom by simply saying Driving Matters. The two-word phrase is meant to make customers believe that a good time behind the wheel can improve their lives. Driving Matters is also supposed to say something about how Mazda engineers vehicles. "Whether it's for safety purposes or for maintaining our 'fun to drive' nature, it all comes down to the fact that driving matters to our customers and it matters to us." Russell Wager, vice president of marketing at Mazda North American Operations, said in the announcement of the new campaign. However, Zoom-Zoom isn't entirely dead, and the words still appear in small print in some of these spots. According to Wager in an interview with Automotive News, the old slogan isn't necessarily understandable to some focus groups. "I'll ask them to explain to me what 'Zoom Zoom' means, and I'll get 6 or 7 different answers. That's what Driving Matters is supposed to address. It's supposed to solidify what 'Zoom Zoom' means to people," he said. So far, the company has released several examples of the campaign to highlight the Miata and Mazda6. At the same time, Mazda is launching a new commercial (embedded below) called A Driver's Life that showcases many of its models but puts a big emphasis on the MX-5. Mazda Launches All-New Advertising Campaign, "Driving Matters" - New Campaign Communicates How the Joy of Driving Can Enhance Your Life - IRVINE, Calif. (May 21, 2015) –The Oxford Dictionary defines "driving" as, "operating and controlling the direction and speed of a motor vehicle." Mazda believes that driving is more than a definition. Driving is an experience that can enhance your life. To better illustrate how every Mazda vehicle embodies why "Driving Matters," today Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is rolling out a new advertising campaign. Driving Matters is an evolution of the Game Changers campaign. With Game Changers, Mazda succeeded in increasing consumer awareness of the functional attributes of our vehicles. Driving Matters will extend the message by creating an emotional connection to the brand.
