A bit of history of the car.
MUST READ: HISTORY!!!! ++++++++Vehicle was modified to fit a 13B turbo, but to maintain the originality of the Rx3, without getting rid of the originality of the car, so keep in mind that I spent more money making sure that Everything was done with a good hand and without ruining the originality of the rx3. Car looks stock in the engine bay, almost as if it left the showroom like that. ++++++ +++++++All hard to get original parts are still with me, matching automatic transmission, etc. whatever I have, I’m selling with the vehicle. (left side mirror - had to remove due to tight space in the garage, original radiator, original 12A blue air filter with japaneese lettering, and black rubbering hoses, front bezels for lights and grill, automatic transmission with matching numbers to the chassis, AC condenser, AC controller I have everything except the bumpers, and the original motor, and the original carpet. Dash is in near perfect condition. As you can see from the pictures. ++++++++ ++++++++Body of the car is great, 2nd owner, no accidents, clean title, original paint, matching numbers for everything except the motor. The motor is not original. I don’t have the original motor. All the original parts to the car, are included in the sale.Everything else is original, 8 Track Player still works just fine. ++++++++++ A bit about the build process: I built it for 600+ horses and for the Yellow Bee to be 9 seconds in the 1/4 mile And I spent every dime trying to hit that magic number. This could truly be a 9-10 second car. The purchase comes with 2 motors, 1) RACE 1)Street ALL PARTS ARE BRAND NEW: ENGINE WAS REBUILT 100 Miles AGO:
It should pass any engineering inspection without a problem. The Bad: 1) Needs water seals, and oil seals, new corner springs.
I tried to be as honest as i could about the description of the vehicle. Vehicle is being sold as is. This is a great deal. Best of Both worlds. Original and Turbocharged/fuel injected. Super Fun to drive, truly one of a kind. Unique setup. I’ll throw in a or give a partial credit for the shipping cost, or buyer pays the shipping, everything is depending on the buyers final price. Cost to ship is 1,200-1,500.00, to Melbourne. Just to give you an idea. Cost to Ship to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 650.00. So If I help out it should reduce your cost to ship if I give you a credit. WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE. No tire kickers, no low ballers. If you can’t pay, please don’t bid. Let’s make a deal, this vehicle is ready to start. |

2016 Mazda2 won't come to the US
Mon, May 25 2015Hoping to get your hands on the new Mazda2? Don't get your hopes up too high, because the latest word has it that the new hatchback won't be available in the United States. According to the report from Automotive News, Mazda's US office has decided against bringing the new Mazda2 to American showrooms. This despite it being made just south of the border in Salamanca, Mexico. The reasons are apparently two-fold. For starters, Mazda sales offices around the world have been clamoring for larger allotments of the new 2, and the company can only supply so many. "We could have had it, but we would have had a number that didn't make much sense with 600 dealers and with the marketing it takes to launch a new car," Robert Davis, Mazda's senior VP of US sales operations, told AN. For another, Mazda is apparently not convinced the new supermini would resonate with US buyers, who are increasingly migrating towards crossovers. So Mazda is focusing instead on "products that make us and our dealers considerably more profit than a Mazda2 does." That doesn't mean the latest Mazda2 will be entirely out of our reach forever, though. The company's agreement with Toyota will see a sedan version sold in the US as the Scion iA. Mazda is also certifying it to US safety and environmental standards so that it can sell the 2 in Puerto Rico, which means that it wouldn't take much to change course and bring the hatchback into the US in the future: "It'll always be there if we need it," Davis told AN. Reached for comment, a spokesman for Mazda's North American operations told Autoblog that "The Mazda2 launch in the U.S. market is on hold in order to evaluate the B-Car segment and enable us the opportunity to focus on the launches of the refreshed Mazda6 and CX-5, and the all-new MX-5 roadster and CX-3 subcompact crossover SUV." That leaves the aforementioned CX-3 - which is, incidentally, based on the same architecture as the Mazda2 - as the smallest mainstream model that Mazda will offer Stateside.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata first in-car observations
Sun, 07 Sep 2014We've had few days to digest the all-new 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata since the roadster was first revealed on Wednesday evening when we offered you our first impressions. Since that time, we've gone back and looked at the car a number of times in person here in California, and we've even seen it briefly run under its own power (okay, it was more of a saunter). What we didn't get the chance to do at the reveal, however, was sit inside the car. We've since been able to remedy that, and while we haven't been allowed to drive the new roadster, we do have some initial in-car impressions to share with you.
First, the location and feel of the major controls is quite excellent. The three-spoke steering wheel is an MX-5 specific item - it's not shared with any other Mazda. That's vital, because others would likely be too big in diameter or have the wrong rim thickness. The wheel's redundant controls seem to be well laid out and the airbag boss is very small. The column tilts, but unfortunately and somewhat inexplicably, it still doesn't telescope.
Pedals are well-spaced, and the six-speed manual has the same short throws and positive engagement that we've come to know and love.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata firsthand impressions and notebook scribblings
Thu, 04 Sep 2014In a temporarily repurposed airport hanger in Monterey, CA, the world caught its first glimpse of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata tonight, and I was fortunate enough to attend in person along with my fellow auto media colleagues, Mazda execs, a couple hundred Miata devotees and, oddly, a fair number of Duran Duran fans. The klieg lights have dimmed, Simon Le Bon is no longer ringing in my ears, and I'm left to ponder what I've seen. I've scavenged my notes - and my Twitter feed - to give you some details and brief thoughts.
Fair Warning: I can't claim to be completely impartial (I own a second-generation NB and consider the Miata franchise to be one of but a few sacrosanct franchises in modern motoring), but I will share my honest first impressions of the new car, both good and bad.
Here are my notes:
