~This is a absolutely stunning bone stock1993 Mazda RX-7 FD Touring edition. 1.3 R2 Twin turbo, 255HP, 5 speed
manual transmission. Ice cold Ac, power windows, moonroof, factory chrome wheels and leather interior. 1 loving
owner. Life long California car purchased at Mazda of Oxnard in 1992. Absolutely 100% Rust free! Its never seen a
day of rain, snow or a salty road in its life! Always garaged and maintained with all service records since new. I
have all service history, All original books and manuals, original window sticker and purchase contract. Never
raced or abused. Amazing pedigree! This is as close to a new 1993 RX7 as you will find. Hands down, one of the
nicest examples on the market today! Clear and clean tile in hand.
~The body and paint are phenomenal! Its been garaged its entire life and it shows. Nice deep original paint
finish. All original paint and body panels. Never in any accidents. Never modified. Undercarriage is spotless. With
the exception of a tiny door ding on the passenger door its darn near flawless.
~The interior still looks new. I hate to say that anything is perfect but this is as close as it gets! It looks
as if it just rolled off the showroom floor. Not even any wear on the driver leather seat. Its truly a time
capsule! ~Mechanically wise I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country today. Ac was just charged. New tire's
all the way around. Just serviced. Starts right up with no leaks, smoke or funny noises. Transmission shifts smooth
as silk. Brakes are good. Drives straight down the road. Steering and handling are very tight. It really feels as
if you're driving a much newer car! Hard to believe its a 24 years old!
~All in all.. If you've been looking for a nice honest, bone stock, low mile, one owner, un molested RX7 FD
you've found it! You would be hard pressed to a better one. Its a really neat car!

2014 Mazda6: June 2013

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

The 2014 Mazda6 is our most recent addition to the Autoblog long-term fleet, and we spent the month of June getting to know our Soul Red tester, generally enjoying the honeymoon phase of this twelve-month relationship. During June, the Mazda6 spent the majority of its time with director of photography Drew Phillips, who in addition to putting together this pretty gallery of our rakish long-term car, had a lot to say about it as a daily driver.
You see, not too long before Mazda delivered our long-term 6, Drew bought a 2014 CX-5 crossover to support his growing family. The CX-5 was the first vehicle to use Mazda's full suite of Skyactiv technologies, and we've generally enjoyed the good-to-drive CUV. A lot of that CX-5 goodness lies beneath the more shapely lines of this sleek Mazda6 sedan, so it's only fitting that Drew had a lot of comparisons between Mazda's two housemates during his month behind the wheel.

A pair of Mitsubishis, the Mazda CX-30 and electric incentives | Autoblog Podcast #673

Fri, Apr 9 2021

This week's Autoblog Podcast features Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore and Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski as they debate the merits of the redesigned Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 coupes and whether or not they are distinctive and powerful enough to attract buyers. The duo spends some time discussing ongoing EV and infrastructure legislation before turning their attention to a trio of crossovers. Greg muses about the 2021 Mazda CX-30 before Jeremy talks about the refreshed 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and completely redesigned Outlander. We get nostalgic as we remember the dearly departed Pontiac GTO before wrapping the podcast up by making one more suggestion to a longtime listener who is shopping for a vehicle to replace her aging Honda Pilot. 2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

2012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
2013 North American Car of the Year:
