1988 Mazda Rx 7 Convertible Arizona Car on 2040-cars
Lake Havasu City, Arizona, United States
Thanks for looking.
This little convertible has spent its' entire life in Nevada and Arizona, so rest assured it is completely RUST FREE. Because of the favorable weather we have year round, the top has always been down, therefore it is in excellent shape. Simply put, this is a very nice little sports car that is in great condition and runs great as well. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country at a moments notice. The previous owner had the motor freshened up by Racing Beat, a well respected Southern California Rx 7 shop. Upgrades to the car are adjustable shocks front and rear. Corbeau bucket seats and a Sony Explode stereo system. So long as the car is paid in full once the auction ends, I will gladly store the car for you at no charge until you can make arrangements to have it picked up.The car is located in Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406. Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will gladly help in any way that I can. Thanks! |

Mazda poaches designer Kevin Rice back from BMW
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Kevin Rice left Mazda a baker's dozen years ago, but now he's back.
A graduate of the Transportation Design program at Coventry University (just across town from Jaguar headquarters), Rice worked his way up in the industry working for the likes of Opel and Italdesign Giugiaro before landing a job at Mazda. Between 1995 and 2000, he collaborated on such projects as the RX-8 and the 1999 Neospace concept that previewed the Mazda2 before moving on to BMW, where the new 3 Series and 4 Series were among the last projects he worked on during his 13-year tenure in Munich.
Now back at Mazda, Rice has been named the Japanese automaker's new creative director, charged with further honing the brand's KODO design language from its European headquarters in Oberursel, Germany. We're looking forward to seeing what he and his design team come up with in the coming years.
Mazda considers expanding Takata recall nationwide
Tue, Dec 9 2014Vehicle recalls have come in force recently. Honda expanded its front driver's side Takata airbag inflator recall nationwide to cover an estimated 5.4-million vehicles, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration added 19 notices to its database covering safety campaigns dating back to October. It looks like there could be one more to add to the list soon because Mazda is considering a possible nationwide expansion of its own inflator repairs. A company spokesperson tells Reuters that there is no decision yet when to actually make this nationwide expansion of the driver's side inflator recall official, and the company isn't sure how many vehicles may be affected. Mazda just expanded the scope of its Takata inflator recalls to additional regions earlier in December. The move took its total number of units in need of repair from around 65,000 under the earlier NHTSA estimate to 86,773, according to the company. So far, the automaker's US campaign has included the 2003-2007 Mazda6, 2006-2007 MazdaSpeed6, 2004-2008 Mazda RX-8, 2004-2005 MPV and 2004 B-Series pickup.
