For sale by a PRIVATE OWNER so no surprise fees or anything of that sort.

Very clean, well maintained 2000 Miata. Currently has 49,xxx ORIGINAL documented miles and will go up since its my daily driver.

Almost 10K of these miles are highway miles between states in road-trips between me and the previous owners.

5 speeds stick shift with power mirrors, power windows, cruise control, AC/heat both work.

Its the upgraded LS that comes with leather interiors and the Bose system.

I drove it all the way 14 hours straight from PA state on April when purchased without any single issue.

Selling it because I moved to another apartment where there is no garage to keep that gem during the Winter, and I also have another car Mazda3 ( YES I love Mazdas)

Has upgraded stuff like:

- Slotted rotors all the way.

- Rear spolier.

- Cold air intake.

- Strut tower brace.

- Muffler ( sound awesome).

- Chrome gas tank door.

- Ground effect.

- Foglight (not working, needs a fuze I think)

Rear tires are almost new and the front still have more than 80% left.

I have the manulas and the original window sticker ( was $24K in 2000 ) and 2 keys.

Not a single mechanic issue, no burning, no leaks, no vibration, no over heating, no check engine light, drives straight.

No rust, no dings, no cracks, no door dings, no scuffs, paint is shiny.

The driver seat has a minimal abrasion ( like most of the Miatas).

Convertible soft top has no tears or any damage, its in a very good condition with the leather seats.

I have a clean CarFax ( no accidents, no lien, miles documented ).

I also have a clean clear MO title under my name and READY to sell, no liens/loans.

Passed MO state safety and emission in May with flying colors.

You will not be disappointed. Tight clutch and a strong engine.

500$ down-payment immediate via PayPal upon purchase and the rest of the money to be paid in CASH upon picking up the vehicle.

I am willing to pick you up from the airport if needed.

Buyer has to pick-up the car on weekends ONLY ( Saturday-Sunday) due to my work schedule.

MotorWeek finds nice things to say about the 1993 Ford Probe

Tue, Mar 8 2016

This latest in MotorWeek's series of Retro Reviews continues its recent trend of remembering the massive glut of sports coupes that hit the market in the '90s. While vehicles like the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX-7, and Ford Mustang all enjoy solid reputations down to this day, the 1993 Ford Probe, well... doesn't. As you'll soon see, though, the show's opinion suggests the coupe's second generation isn't really all that bad. Turns out they just weren't particularly sporty. Ford and Mazda developed the Probe together, and the Japanese company supplied both the base 115-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the 164-hp 2.5-liter V6 in the GT trim. The original's pseudo-angular look gave way to a much smoother shape for the second generation. Of course, pop-up headlights remained, which were a design hallmark for many of this era's sports coupes. After driving it, MotorWeek proclaims the Probe is "a winner" and considers the handling a "delight." That's not a big surprise, considering that in those days, a car had to be really bad not to get a decent review from Television's Original Automotive Magazine. However, the show hints at some of the reasons the coupe isn't so well remembered today. Even the GT reportedly suffers from soft springs and lots of understeer, which sounds like exactly the opposite anyone hoping to drive the coupe enthusiastically would want. To sum it all up, we're sure you're just as happy as we are that Ford went back on its initial plan to shelve the Mustang in favor of the front-drive Probe. Related Video:

Mazda has right mix to chase 120,000 more US sales

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

The Mazda MX-5 Miata was named to Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for the eighth year in a row and for the fourteenth time overall. The CX-5 tops or comes in as runner-up on every AOL Autos staff poll we take on compact crossovers. The Mazda3 is a perennial favorite among auto critics. That's three clear, unquestioned winners in the Mazda showroom. So, why does Mazda seem to struggle sometimes for recognition and clarity in the marketplace?
For that, I chatted with Mazda North American Operations President, Jim O'Sullivan, who has run the outfit since 2003. O'Sullivan, a former Ford sales and marketing executive who came to Mazda from Dearborn, MI when Ford owned a controlling stake in Mazda, is one of the quieter, but very menchy, leaders in the industry whose longevity in the job speaks to the stability of Mazda.

10 automakers shack up in Detroit hotel to talk Takata airbags

Sun, Dec 14 2014

Since Takata has decided not to take the lead concerning potential issues with its airbag inflators, the automakers have. Perhaps that's unsurprising, since it's the automakers, not Takata, that will take a beating on the dealership floor if consumers decide its models are a health hazards. The Detroit News reports that Toyota, Honda, General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Subaru met in a hotel conference room near the Detroit Metropolitan Airport last week to sort out a way to understand the technical issues involved. So far, faulty airbag inflators have been ruled the cause of five deaths and 50 injuries around the world, but neither Takata nor investigators understands exactly why the inflators are malfunctioning. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently asked Takata to issue a national recall, Takata declined, citing a minuscule failure rate and the fact that it's still investigating the issue. Toyota and Honda then made an industry-wide appeal for "a coordinated, comprehensive testing program" that would pinpoint the problem inflators and get them replaced, and that's what the Detroit meeting was about. Numerous issues, however, will make this a long row to hoe: simply getting the parts to replace the nearly 20 million inflators in cars recalled around the world so far - even working with other suppliers - will take a years, but more importantly, no one knows if the replacement inflators currently being installed will suffer the same issue. Answers will hopefully come quickly with Takata, the ten automakers and NHTSA all independently investigating the problem.
