This rare and beautiful 1999 10th Anniversary Sapphire Blue Mica Mazda Miata with black/blue leather interior is loaded with every option plus many more tasteful additions also! It may only have a 4 cylinder engine, but it has been supercharged with a MP62 Supercharger giving it approximatly 275hp.  It is very light and handles like a go cart while achieving great fuel efficiency.  This 10th Anniversary Edition came with more options than any other Miata at the time.  Some of the stock options were 6 speed manual transmission, Sport Suspension with Bilstein shocks, Nardi steering wheel and gear shift knob, Carbon Fiber interior trim, Torsen Limited Slip Differential, front strut tower brace, two-tone sport bucket seats, Bose AM/FM Stereo, Blue convertible top, Chrome wheels, climate control,  power windows, power locks, power mirrors and more.  No money was spared in parts or labor with the tasteful mods that were installed on this Miata.  Some of them were MP62 Supercharger (MonsterCharger) with power card, JR Timing Controller, Water to Air Intercooler, Big Throttle Body Kit, ACT Stage 1 Racing Clutch, SDS Mixture Meter, Programable Keyless entry for Doors and Trunk, Trailer Hitch, Trunk and Hood shocks lift kit, Racing Beat Dual Exhaust, Racing Beat Chrome Style Bar, Custom Color Matched Dash Gauge Faces, Custom Trunk Saddle Bags attached to the inside of the trunk lid, Aluminum Racing Pedals, Moss Interior Light kit (lights up foot wells when doors are open), Italian Air Horns, fairly new Kuhmo Ectsa Tires, and more that I am forgetting.

The convertible top is easy to open and close with one hand. With the top up, the fit is snug and tight. There is no noisy wind or water leaks that are a problem with this convertible beauty!  With only 69k low miles this Miata has been pampered. This is truly a unique automobile...  You won't find another one like it.  It's got the best of both worlds,  the power of a V8 with the fuel economy of a 1.8L 4 cylinder.  It's fast, fun and drop dead gorgeous.   Any modification that was done on this Miata was professionaly done.  I have all receipts from day 1 for all maintenance.   It car drives like an absolute dream without any check engine lights or worries!  This Miata will definitely have heads turning when you pull-up!  If you live in California you need to check with your local Smog station to see if this Miata meets all of your strict regulations.  Here in Texas it passes without any problems.

The exterior of this Mazda is in great condition. The interior of this vehicle is also in excellent condition.  This car looks like a pampered vehicle should look like.

This Miata has a clean Carfax with no accident history or any other problems.

Evo blasts around in a Spa 24H-winning Mazda RX-7

Mon, Jul 20 2015

Think of the Mazda RX-7 today, and your thoughts likely turn to the turbocharged third-generation version of the '90s that's an icon among the tuning and drifting communities. Many years before that swoopy coupe was hanging the tail out, the first model of RX-7 was also quite a track star, though. Evo's Richard Meaden has gotten ahold of a race-prepped version that counts a victory in the 1981 Spa 24 Hours to its name – the first Japanese car to claim that honor – for a fantastic video. With 225 horsepower and weighing around 1,984 pounds, this RX-7 doesn't look like a giant killer on paper. However as Meaden illustrates, the coupe puts those rotary-powered ponies to very good use. Driving it requires constantly keeping things on the boil because the muscle is essentially absent below 7,000 rpm. Once in the sweet spot, things start progressing quickly, though. As a wonderful cap to the wall of noise from the engine, little licks of flame also shoot out of the exhaust on downshifts. Thankfully, Evo's video team captures all of the mechanical noises quite well, and the clip is a treat for those with a good pair of headphones. Despite the race-winning pedigree, Meaden has no problem grabbing the little coupe by the scruff of the neck. He chucks it through the corners to get the tail loose, and the little wisps of smoke from the rear tires prove the original RX-7 knows how to drift too. These early cars definitely worth being remembered in the pantheon of Mazda performance.

More photos of the 2014 Mazda3 sedan

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

Thanks to the folks at Top Gear Russia, we got an early glimpse of the 2014 Mazda3 sedan. Now, Mazda has released more images of its sleek new four-door, and if you like what the Japanese automaker has done with the five-door hatchback, you won't find anything to complain about with the sedan.
Many would argue that the Mazda3 sedan looks like a scaled-down version of the new Mazda6, and in many cases, that's true. But there are subtle details about the Mazda3 that we really like, starting with the larger grille that makes for a slightly more aggressive front end. On the profile, we like how the strong arching character lines that flow over the front and rear wheel wells intersect in the middle of the car and then taper off. At the rear, a short decklid rounds off a very clean design with taillamps that are indeed reminiscent of the larger Mazda6.
We can't yet confirm powertrain details (or any other specifications, really), but we fully expect the same 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engines to carry over from the hatchback, as well as the six-speed automatic and manual transmissions.

Mazda to relocate its US offices into Irvine's tallest building

Sun, Jan 17 2016

Mazda is the latest foreign automaker to be moving its North American headquarters. Only this time, it's not moving further south. Instead, the Japanese automaker is simply relocating to another facility in Irvine, CA. In a little over a year from now, Mazda North American Operations will move to 200 Spectrum Center Drive (pictured in the rendering at right), taking up five of the 21 floors in Orange County's tallest building for a total of over 100,000 square feet of office space. It'll also take up half the lobby with vehicles on display and the exclusive naming rights on the top of the building. The facility, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, boasts full glass walls from floor to ten-foot ceiling for uninterrupted 360-degree views. Mazda has been in its current US headquarters at 7755 Irvine Center Drive (pictured above) since 1987. The five-story building was specifically constructed for the purpose and was the tallest in Irvine at the time. Prior to that it was based in Compton from 1970. The move to the new facility is scheduled to take place in February, 2017. Mazda's announcement marks only the most recent of foreign automakers to relocate their North American headquarters. Toyota is moving to Texas, Subaru to Camden, Lotus to Ann Arbor, Daimler to Farmington Hills, and Mercedes-Benz to Atlanta (where Porsche recently relocated, as well). Cadillac also recently moved from GM's Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit to its new headquarters in New York. Hyundai and Kia also quarter their North American operations in Irvine, as does Aston Martin. Meanwhile Honda and Toyota (for the time being) are based less than an hour away in Torrance, and Mitsubishi halfway in between in Cypress. Though they no longer sell passenger cars in North America, Isuzu and Suzuki still operate their US bases in SoCal as well, in Anaheim and Brea, respectively – all municipalities located just south of Los Angeles. Nissan and Subaru also base their US operations outside of California, with head offices in Tennessee and New Jersey, respectively.
