1996 Mazda B3000 Se Pick Up Truck on 2040-cars
Winter Garden, Florida, United States
This is a 1996 Mazda B-3000 SE (Special Edition) with the extended cab. Meaning there is ample storage behind the front seats and two small “jump” seats for the little ones. It’s basically a Ford Ranger just rebranded with the Mazda badging. It has the factory ‘sliding’ rear window and a light over the bed in the rear for nighttime work. The truck has the V-6 engine, its two wheel drive and has been well maintained and I have tons of receipts for all the work done on the vehicle. It is a one-owner truck which I bought new. It has a new radiator, battery, new spark plugs, a new clutch and flywheel with new slave and master cylinders and a new headliner. Both side windows have new lifetime warrantied tint. The original jack is included along with a perfect spare tire. The interior shows normal wear for a 17 year old truck but there are no tears or rips anywhere – never been smoked in nor hauled any pets around. The truck has the upgraded bumper with a 2” trailer hitch and the optional electrical connector for trailer lights. The tires only have a few thousand miles on them; shocks and brakes are very good. The vehicle runs out fine, idles, stops and accelerates perfectly and has ice cold A/C and factory power steering. It is greenish-blue (original paint) with only one dent on the passenger side that you have to stoop down to even see. It has the hard plastic bed liner that provides protection from those messy loads. The car has an aftermarket radio that supports Pandora and USB devices. It is a 5-speed overdrive manual transmission and gets excellent gas mileage and it doesn’t use any oil (it’s always had Mobil One synthetic in it). All the gauges work as new except for the odometer which stopped at just over 154,000 miles and I estimate it has 160,000 miles. It has a clear Florida title and is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty. It’s a perfect truck for light farm work or just to have a truck around for those household hauling jobs. It’s very reliable and these V-6 engines are ‘bricks’ with little maintenance required. I’m only selling it because it just sits in the driveway now and is seldom used and I just bought a bigger, brand new truck. The vehicle is about 12 miles west of Orlando in Winter Garden, FL.

Live pics of 2014 Mazda3 from NYC, sedan on its way
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, straight from the memory cards of our own cameras. As you can see, the only version of the 2014 Mazda3 that the automaker is showing off at the moment is the hatchback, but we've gotten confirmation from Mazda that the sedan version will be shown sometime within the next five weeks.
So far, Mazda isn't commenting on whether or not we can expect a higher-performance Mazdaspeed3 version of the car, but we've got our fingers crossed. In any case, we're quite drawn to the appearance of this new hatchback from Mazda, with its flowing lines and character creases setting it apart from the rest of the compact segment in which it competes.
We also appreciate the sound engineering that went into the new 3. Despite boasting a wheelbase that's longer than the car it replaces, we're pleased to see that Mazda has kept its exterior size in check - it's actually shorter overall than the last-gen model - while also reducing weight by about 200 pounds. That's bound to be good for the new 3's dynamic properties.
So, just how different are the Fiat 124 Spider and Mazda MX-5 Miata?
Wed, Nov 18 2015"We leveraged a great platform." That's how Bob Broderdorf, Jr., Fiat's North American director, summarizes the creation of the 124 Spider. We all know Fiat's new roadster shares its underpinnings with the fourth-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata, but there are a lot of key differences to keep them separate in the eyes of consumers. Mazda may have engineered the platform, but Fiat added many of its own touches. Here, we'll take a closer look at the spec sheets of the two cars, and summarize the major differences between the Japanese and Italian roadsters. If you need a refresher, read our full First Drive of the 2016 MX-5 Miata, and glance at all the Fiat 124 Spider details in this post. Design Fiat Chrysler design lead Ralph Gilles is super excited about this car. "I think it's going to change lives," he told the assembled media at an event in Auburn Hills, MI, earlier this month. Yes, it's definitely exciting to add a small roadster to any lineup, especially one that uses such a proven platform. But we're not sure people are going to get all that jazzed about it from a design standpoint. You'll either love it or hate it, and we're kind of leaning toward the latter. Every single body panel is new, and the design is "100 percent Italian." There are a number of creases and angles throughout the exterior, with a squared-off rear end and rectangular taillamps. Fiat trusts you'll be able to spot the similarities between the new 124 Spider and the original, but we're not so sure. We can see a bit of the old car's grille on the new car's face, and the dual hood blisters are a nice throwback touch, but that's about it. Trust us when we say that this car looks way better in photos. In person, it really didn't wow us. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One colleague told us his wife, a long-time Miata owner, hates the look of the new one but will absolutely adore the Fiat. Good for her, and good for Fiat. But based on design alone, we'll take the Mazda every single time. What about you? Dimensions When Broderdorf said Fiat leveraged the Miata's platform, that means the Italians took it as-is. The two cars ride on an identical, 90.9-inch wheelbase. The front and rear tracks lengths are the same, at 58.9 and 59.1 inches, respectively. But that's where the similarities end.
Mazda MX-5 breeds upgraded Roadster RS in Japan
Mon, Oct 5 2015Fans of the new Mazda MX-5 Miata looking for something a little more performance-focused may be enticed by the new RS model. Unfortunately they'll have to go all the way to Japan to get it. Because Mazda will only be offering this particular version back home. The new RS version of the Mazda Roadster (as it's known in Japan) features a number of performance upgrades, although none of them specifically affect the engine or its output. The Roadster RS features Bilstein dampers and front suspension tower brace for better handling, along with bigger brakes for added stopping power, a retuned steering rack for sharper turn-in, and upgraded exhaust for a better sound. Inside it's also been treated to heated Recaro seats with Nappa leather and Alcantara trim and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. It also comes equipped with adaptive front lighting and high-beam control as well as lane-departure and blind-spot warning systems. Feeling left out yet? Don't be too disappointed, or book that ticket to Tokyo's Natita International Airport just yet. The Mazda Roadster RS only comes with the smaller 1.5-liter engine that produces 129 horsepower, which is significantly less than the 2.0L we get here at 155 hp. It does, however, come with the six-speed manual instead of the automatic. So while this may not be the most powerful version of the Miata, it may be the enthusiast favorite – at least in the JDM.
