You are looking at a 1984 Mazda B2000 Pickup Truck. We are selling this as-is, where-is. It has a 4-cyl engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. Only 50,671 actual, original miles. The truck starts, runs and drives, but the motor has a miss (we think it is a burnt valve) so it will need to be towed. It is a one-owner truck, bought new for our apartment business in 1984. It has been is storage for the last 5 years (started and moved periodically). For the life of the truck it has always been kept indoors in a heated garage. It has never seen winter - always parked when the weather got cold, so the body is solid and in very good shape for the year. There is a small crack in the windshield. Bought new right from the factory showroom. The wood rails and chrome were on the truck from the factory. The truck is very basic, no frills - rack & pinion steering, basic AM/FM radio, manual locks & windows & no a/c. The truck got many years of good use, and was very well kept and maintained. The owner is retiring now and needs to sell it. So if you're looking for a nice Mazda pickup at a great price, bid now, no reserve!

Mazda3 celebrates 10 happy years
Tue, 25 Jun 2013Mazda is on the cusp of unveiling an all-new Mazda3, but the compact will mark an important milestone before that happens. The very first Mazda3 rolled off of the assembly line on June 25, 2003. A decade later, the little car has snagged some 136 awards. The first generation sold 2.2 million units over the span of six years, and the second has smiled its way into the hearts of 1.4 million buyers since 2009. Mazda notes the machine even took the honor of being the top-selling passenger car in Australia in 2011 and 2012.
So, what will the future bring? The Japanese automaker is keeping the details to itself for the moment. From the spy photos we've seen, it looks as if the new design will fall under the company's new Kodo design philosophy. That same language brought us the perilously sexy Mazda6, and the new Mazda3 should be no less attractive. You can check out those photos here.

Updated Mazda3 hits US roads this year
Thu, Jul 14 2016Mazda released an updated variant of its Mazda3 that will go on sale in Japan today and later this year in the US. The compact vehicle benefits from Mazda's G-Vectoring Control (GVC) that provides integrated control of the vehicle's engine, chassis, transmission, and body. The result, from our own experience, results in a car that's more enjoyable to drive. GVC is the first feature in a series of new Skyactiv Vehicle Dynamics technologies. Mazda is developing them to provide drivers with greater feel and a more enjoyable experience. "Mazda is striving to become an irreplaceable presence in the lives of our customers, to create a special bond with them and to be a 'one-and-only' brand they will chose again and again," Mazda's CEO Masamichi Kogai said in a statement. Other than the new feature, the 2017 Mazda3 goes mostly unchanged with the front end gaining slimmer turn signals and fog lights. The current-gen lineup, claims Mazda, is centered around Jinba Ittai – a term the automaker uses to signify oneness between car and driver – that started with the launch of the Mazda CX-5. The updated Mazda3 will go on sale later this year in the US, but the automaker did not announce an official date. 2014 Mazda Skyactiv Prototype looks ready for Daytona
Fri, 17 Jan 2014With less than two weeks before the Mazda Skyactiv Prototype makes its race debut at the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Japanese Zoom-Zoom brand brought its diesel-powered racer to the floor of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
The red prototype marks Mazda's return to prototype racing, and will campaign the inaugural Tudor United SportsCar Championship using a 2.2-liter, SkyActiv-D diesel engine. With 451 horsepower on tap and 580 pound-feet of torque, the racer should stand up well against a field of gas-powered competitors.
Should the Skyactiv win Daytona, it'll be a coup for Mazda. The racer is running an engine with over 50 percent of its parts drawn from the oft-delayed production Skyactiv-D.
