A bad rod in the motor has caused the running condition to deteriorate. I have never had any other running problems with this vehicle. A great little SUV for someone that can put the time and money into fixing the motor or replacing with a rebuilt. Also.... the front passenger door won't open. I have not had it looked at. It's probably a simple fix."

This vehicle is in fair condition. It runs, but it needs a new motor because of a bad rod. Driveable, but makes a clicking sound from the engine. We have it parked at a mechanic's shop in Hazen, AR at the moment. We are bringing it back home to Little Rock, AR in the next few days, unless it's sold here. It could be a great car with many more years of driving if someone wanted to put a new motor in and give it the TLC it needs. I will be honest. It has always driven great for me until this motor issue. I will sell for parts if I have to, but I'm looking for other options first.

We go Unplugged to celebrate Mazda Miata Month

Chances are good that you, loyal Autoblog reader, have long since chosen to follow us on Twitter and 'like' us on Facebook. (If you haven't, feel free to take a second and do so right now.) Anyway, if you're one of our social media posse, you might have already heard that we're smack dab in the middle of Miata Month. We've gotten Mazda to loan us a couple of MX-5 Miatas, allowing us to say a protracted, tear-filled goodbye to the current generation (NC) of the beloved roadster, just before it exits stage right and ushers in the next generation.
You'll see a few more Miata Month items here on Autoblog after we've said our final farewell, but we absolutely wanted to make sure we created some great video evidence of our month, as well. Mazda announces live-streaming vehicle intro on Xbox

In April, Mazda introduced a marketing campaign titled "Game Changers" to showcase how certain people have made significant impacts in their respective sports, and now it's the Japanese automaker that is changing the game by creating an innovative way to launch a new product. Mazda is teaming up with Xbox to offer a first-of-its-kind live-streaming global debut of a new product. Mazda didn't say which model will be debuted, but our guess is that it will be the next-generation Mazda3.
The actual reveal will take place at 9 pm on June 26 during a live concert from the band Metric in New York City, but there will be other live events preceding the concert in Melbourne, St. Petersburg, Istanbul and London. Mazda will be promoting the event on social media using the hashtag #GameChanger, and there is also a contest on Xbox where one winner will receive $2,500 to attend a music event of their choice.
