This is a very nice Mazda RX8 Touring Edition. I received this car in trade for one of my classics and have no real need for it. It is an original California Car with no rust. Runs and drives excellent... fast and fun with a 6 speed transmission and 250 HP from the rotary motor. Has a custom stereo system and cool custom exhaust that sounds awesome.
Body is super straight with original paint that presents excellent with only minor niks and blemishes. White is a great color on these cars... Interior is original and freshly detailed... everything looks great. All electronics and gauges work properly. Cold AC. Custom stereo amps and sub box. Motor starts runs and drives excellent. 6 Speed trans shifts smooth through the gears and clutch feels strong. Suspension is in great shape and it rides and handles excellent. Stops straight and sure... Car works exactly as it should. Dealer serviced and maintained. Overall this is a fabulous little Rx8 in excellent condition all around... Awesome daily driver. I am a car collector... this car is an excellent example of the Iconic rotary powered Mazda RX series. Fly in and drive this one home... :) The car is located in Beverly Hills... Aussie Mazda MX-5 Miata specs leak suggests power loss
Fri, 12 Sep 2014Mazda's 2016 MX-5 Miata reveal didn't include much in the way of specifications, but the car's debut seems to have blown the lid off of the rumormill, with the latest word out of Australia including fresh claims of curb weight and engine output.
Before delving into the findings from Motoring.com, we're going to take a moment to find a few grains of salt. It's not that we don't trust the Oz publication, it's just that we wouldn't be surprised to learn their car's specifications will vary from that of our eventual North American car.
Of course, we don't expect the footprint of the new ND model to itself to differ much - it will still be the most compact Miata ever - overall length is expected to check in at just over 154 inches - that's about 1.4 inches shorter than the original NA Miata and over 4 inches shorter than today's NC generation, yet it'll ride atop a longer wheelbase and be slightly wider while sitting lower to the ground.
Mazda de Mexico celebrates 100,000th car built

Some are interesting enough to report on and some aren't, but what makes this one stand out is that the plant opened less than a year ago. Just 11 months since production began, Mazda de Mexico Vehicle Operation has put together its 100,000th vehicle – in this case a Mazda2 hatchback headed for Europe. MMVO is one of three plants assembling the company's smallest model, also known as the Demio in Japan, where it is also produced, with additional assembly taking place in Thailand under a joint venture with Ford. The Mexican location also handles assembly of the Mazda3 for the Americas and for Europe. Mazda has announced that it is expanding production at MMVO by 150 percent of this year's capacity to 250,000 units per year by March 2016 as it takes on contract manufacturing for Toyota as well.
Mazda builds 4-millionth Mazda3
Tue, 25 Feb 2014To say that the Mazda3 is a vital product for Mazda would be one heck of an understatement. In fact, the model line accounts for about 30 percent of the manufacturer's sales. Fortunately for Mazda, they're selling well.
These days, the Japanese automaker is building the Mazda3 (known domestically as the Axela) in Japan, China, Thailand and, as of last month, in Mexico. The company's expanded global production capacity has helped Mazda reach four million units of the Mazda3 sold around the world since the first model was introduced over ten and a half years ago.
Over the course of that decade since its introduction in June 2003, Mazda has gone through three generations of Mazda3, the newest model benefiting from the company's Skyactiv technology and even encompassing a hybrid model in the Japanese Domestic Market.
