I'm selling my 2004 Mazda RX-8. This car has only 67,XXX miles on it! It has a 6-speed transmission and is very fun to drive. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm getting a Honda and don't need two vehicles. It has new Goodyear tires on the front, K&N air filter, ceramic brake pads, transmission inspection, and new NGK plugs, wires, and coils. Oil has always been changed in it while I've had it and the only thing wrong with it is it's missing a piece of trim on the passenger side, needs rear tires, and the check engine light needs to be reset since it has the new plugs in it. 2014 Mazda6: July/August 2013
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Our newest long-termer - the Soul Red 2014 Mazda6 seen here - arrived in my driveway at the end of June. Without hesitation, I immediately put it to work as a daily driver, carpool bus and family vacation sled, and it accomplished all of those tasks with aplomb. Now, more than 4,000 miles down the road, I am left convinced that Mazda's latest midsize sedan is one of the best in its segment.
During the past 60 days, I have subjected the Mazda6 to scorching travel across Southwestern deserts, wheezing climbs over 8,000-foot-high Sierra Nevada mountain passes and basking in the cool ocean breezes of Malibu. It traveled with four passengers and a full load of luggage from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe, and it braved the bumper-to-bumper freeway congestion on a weekday trip down to San Diego. It accomplished everything that was asked of while hardly skipping a beat - it has only required a regular sip of unleaded fuel to keep it moving forward.
Graffiti artist Banksy turns Mazda Protege into warfare commentary
Wed, 16 Oct 2013British street artist Banksy, who currently resides in New York City for its high pedestrian traffic and plentiful hiding spots, recently took his stencils and spray cans to a truck trailer and an old Mazda to make a commentary about war, according to a video report by Newsy.
Part of the canvas, a late-1990s Mazda Protege, is a sub-$3,000 used car at best, but we're sure having Banksy's art sprayed onto it has greatly increased its value, as it did to a piece at a Former Packard plant in Detroit a few years ago. The same goes for the trailer, which looks like it would be right at home attached to a U-Haul rental truck.
The graffito, painted in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, was accompanied by a link to some disturbing audio from a controversial 2007 military video leaked by Wikileaks in 2010.
