HERE I HAVE THIS UN-ABUSED AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION 1993 MAZDA RX-7. ORIGINAL 15K MILES. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND WITH A CLEAR CARFAX RECORD. ONLY 2 PREVIOUS OWNERS - I'M NOT THE OWNER - I AM JUST SELLING IT FOR A FRIEND WHO IS GETTING RID OF HIS TOYS. I DID TAKE ALL THE DETAILED PICTURES THAT YOU ARE SEEING IN THE LISTING, SO YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF THAT THERE ARE NO DENTS OR SCRATCHES ANYWHERE ON THE CAR. THE BODY/PAINT ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, CONSIDERING IT IS A 21.5 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. UNDERBODY IS IMMACULATE AND RUST FREE. THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS, IS THAT IT IS ALWAYS GARAGED KEPT AND RARELY USED.

THE INTERIOR - AS YOU CAN SEE - LOOKS AMAZING. STILL HAS THE NEW CAR SMELL TO IT. THE LEATHER SEATS LOOK NEW. THE DASH, STEERING WHEEL, DOOR PANELS, HEADLINER, CARPET AND FLOOR MATS ALSO ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. A/C BLOWS COLD. KENWOOD RADIO AND SPEAKERS SOUND GREAT. ALL THE GAUGES READ AND WORK AS DESIGNED. POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS AND POWER DOOR MIRRORS WORK FINE.

TURN KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THE ENGINE STARTS RIGHT UP. NO ABNORMAL SOUNDS  OR OIL LEAKS OF ANY KIND. NEITHER ENGINE OR TURBO HAVE NEVER BEEN MESSED AROUND WITH. IT WAS SERVICED SERVICED. NEW UPGRADED RADIATOR AND NEW BATTERY. TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION, PRACTICALLY NEW. WHEELS AND NOKIAN TIRES ARE IN GREAT CONDITION, WELL BALANCED AND WITH LOTS OF LIFE LEFT IN THEM. MOST SERVICE AND PARTS INVOICES IN HAND.

I COULD GO ON ABOUT THE CAR, BUT I'LL LET THE PICTURES AND MY FEEDBACK SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. FOR MORE INFO, FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AT 305...509...4085... OR roger_fer81@yahoo.com

Mazda3 sedan revealed by Top Gear Russia [w/poll]

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Thanks to our comrades at Top Gear Russia, the trickling reveal of the Mazda3 sedan has begun. We saw the hatch in person in New York (and loved it), and we wanted to see if the trunked version could hold onto the same mojo. If you like the Mazda6, then you should like the Mazda3 because it takes just about everything from its toothsome big brother and shrinks it into a compact package.
Top Gear Russia was allowed to share photographs of the Mazda sedan they call "Treshka" (or they leaked them, depending on whom you talk to), but not their drive impressions. The site page says it will come in four trims for the Russian market - Drive, Active, Active+ and Supreme - and offer three engines. Our specifications will certainly differ. Other than that, all we have to go on are the looks, which some may argue are even better than the hatch thanks to a trunk line that provides more balance to that long hood up front.
The Mazda3 will go on sale later this year and US prices should be announced in September. For the time being, content yourself with the gallery of high-res images above.

Mazda de Mexico celebrates 100,000th car built

Sun, Dec 28 2014

Automakers and their factories celebrate production milestones all the time. Some are interesting enough to report on and some aren't, but what makes this one stand out is that the plant opened less than a year ago. Just 11 months since production began, Mazda de Mexico Vehicle Operation has put together its 100,000th vehicle – in this case a Mazda2 hatchback headed for Europe. MMVO is one of three plants assembling the company's smallest model, also known as the Demio in Japan, where it is also produced, with additional assembly taking place in Thailand under a joint venture with Ford. The Mexican location also handles assembly of the Mazda3 for the Americas and for Europe. Mazda has announced that it is expanding production at MMVO by 150 percent of this year's capacity to 250,000 units per year by March 2016 as it takes on contract manufacturing for Toyota as well.

R&T chases down a burglar in the million-mile Miata

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Is the answer always Mazda Miata? We discussed this in passing on the Autoblog Podcast earlier this week, and most assuredly the answer is "no." For example, the little MX-5 would be a terrible people carrier, and it'd be useless off road. You can't really tow anything of substance with it, either. Still, if push came to shove, it's satisfying to know that the diminutive roadster could eke out a career as a chase vehicle for the police.
That fact was proven when Road & Track editor Chris Cantle did something that he himself recognizes as "stupid." Upon returning home, Cantle discovered a "twenty-something" actively burgling his home. The resulting story is easily one of the more entertaining episodes to come out of the 1990 MX-5's service to the team at R&T and, we're guessing, will be one of the highlights of the Million-Mile Miata challenge.
Be sure to head over to Road & Track for a full retelling of the chase from Cantle, as well as a follow-up on the saga.
