Hello you are bidding on a real nice damaged 2010 Mazda 6 with 56,869 miles. The car runs and drives great. Very nice car. The car sustained damage to the left side of the vehicle. The car will need left side doors, left side curtain bag, left side seat bag, and misc clips and hardware. The center post and rocker are ok will not have to be replaced they will just need body work and some paint done to them. The impact was to center of the left rear door. The roof is ok. The left rear door panel also appears to be ok no broken spot to the outside of it. The car is in very nice condition and used parts are available very reasonable for the vehicle. You can look on car-part or on www ebay com. The car is being sold as is damaged with salvage title. The car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early. Junkyard Gem: 1991 Mercury Capri
Mon, Sep 19 2016Ford has gotten a lot of use out of the Capri name in the United States. First, there was the Lincoln Capri in the 1950s, followed by the Ford Capri Mk1 (which was sold by Mercury dealers in the USA but never actually badged as a Mercury). Then came the 1979-1986 Mercury Capri, built on the very successful Fox Platform and essentially a clone of the Mustang. Finally, in 1991, the Australian Ford Capri came to the United States. Here is an example of this rare car that I spotted in a Northern California self-service yard not long ago. Mechanically speaking, the 1991-1994 Capri was a Mazda 323 under the skin, complete with a member of the same B-series engine family that went into such cars as the Miata and Ford Escort. So, for a few years in the early 1990s, car shoppers who wanted a sporty Mazda convertible could choose between a Miata and a Capri. The Capri had front-wheel-drive, but could be had with factory turbocharging. These cars were reliable and fun, but had a tough time competing with the Miata in the showroom battles. You'll see the occasional example now and then, but most of the 1991-1994 Capris have met the same fate that awaits this one. Related Video:

2014 Mazda Skyactiv Prototype looks ready for Daytona
Fri, 17 Jan 2014With less than two weeks before the Mazda Skyactiv Prototype makes its race debut at the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Japanese Zoom-Zoom brand brought its diesel-powered racer to the floor of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
The red prototype marks Mazda's return to prototype racing, and will campaign the inaugural Tudor United SportsCar Championship using a 2.2-liter, SkyActiv-D diesel engine. With 451 horsepower on tap and 580 pound-feet of torque, the racer should stand up well against a field of gas-powered competitors.
Should the Skyactiv win Daytona, it'll be a coup for Mazda. The racer is running an engine with over 50 percent of its parts drawn from the oft-delayed production Skyactiv-D.
