Your bidding on a 2003 Mazda 6   3.0 V6. She is in overall great shape. She bought brand new by the last owner and was pretty much driven on the highway only.  I bought the car from a girl that I work with, she lives in south jersey and commutes to north jersey for work and school. It's all highway miles and according to her she never got the car over 70mph. She babied it and took very good care of it. Carfax shows a lot of service records in fact. She told me that every time it needed something done to it or just needed regular maintenance, her dad would get it done.  I was recently in an accident with my other car and I needed a vehicle to use while my car was being fixed. And my co-worker was selling this car because she had graduated college and daddy was buying her a new car. The car runs very well. Always starts, never once stalled, doesn't smoke, and transmission shifts smooth and strong. As you can see by the photo, tires have good amount of tread, and according to the girl i bought it from, the brakes were last changed when she got new tires, so they should have a good amount of meat on them too. Over all the car runs very well, in fact I would not be mad if thew auction doesnt sell and I had to keep it longer. It really is a joy to drive. The body is in pretty good shape to. The only real issue the body had that I can find was a little bit of rust bubbles starting to form on the passenger rear wheel well. But don't worry, I sanded, bondoed and painted it and I think I did a good job if I don't say so myself. Unless your inspecting the area for damage you will never notice there was bondo put on. The body also may have a small ding or two and possibly a tiny scratch or two. I didn't see any but I also havn't gone over the body with a magnifier... Couple little chips in the front bumber paint from pebbles hitting it over the years. The horn does not work... I don't know why. I just installed a brand new passenger side headlight assembly, however there is no fog light socket in the new one, but all the other lights on the car work great! As for the inside, there is less than normal wear and tear I would say. Leather looks great on all the seats. Only two small issues are with the passenger rear headliner. It's fell loose and is wrinkled a bit, and also the radio/ a/c screen tends to go haywire and cannot be read sometimes. Everything continues to work fine, it's just hard to read the info. Otherwise I think that's it. gauges all work, a/c blows cold, heat and all vents work great! I think the heated seats may have stopped heating but it's hard for me to tell, feels warm to me but she said the driver side at least did not heat anymore for her. Only other minor glitch is that the engine light recently came on. I scanned it and it says that it is running lean. I googled possible reasons and it said maybe a small vacuum leak which is easily fixable, I just have not had time to inspect the engine compartment to look for it. If I find the leak I will amend the posting and let everyone know. Otherwise the car is not effected by the engine light being on. It still runs exactly the same, runs like a champ. Last thing...I think, the spare tire doughnut went missing somewhere along the line...

This car is in great shape and I do expect it to sell for top dollar. PLEASE SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!
Will consider delivering the car up to 100 miles for a flat rate of $250.00 Otherwise local pick up only.

2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata a knight in white satin

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

We're not going to lie to you. The reason you're seeing the fourth-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata on these pages again is solely because this is the first time we're seeing the roadster displayed in a color other than the ruby shade it was first shown in. Okay, okay, so this is the first time the Miata is being displayed at a North American auto show other than SEMA, and we'd say that this is the first time Mazda is showing a US-spec model, but clearly this is a right-hand-drive car. Either way, there's still not much to it yet, especially since Mazda is still withholding power and performance figures.
As expected, the ND Miata, as it is already known among the cognoscenti, will receive a 2.0-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder and the buyer's choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic here in the US. The 1.5-liter model engine that had been linked to the car back in the rumormill stage will not make it to our showrooms.
Preliminary specifications still show the Miata measuring just 154.1 inches in length overall, with an increased track width to 68.1 inches and a low, low overall height of 49.0 inches. Despite the larger-displacement engine and its presumably heavier weight, Mazda is still claiming ideal 50:50 weight distribution and a weight loss of over 220 pounds versus today's NC generation. All of which sounds like the Miata has the right ingredients to make good on its promised Jinba Ittai ("rider and horse as one") driving experience.

Modded budget Mazda Miata takes on new Porsche Boxster in more challenges

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Earlier this month, our friends across the pond at Auto Express released the first in a two-video series that would see them try and build up a second-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata that could best a standard Porsche Boxster around the track. While that first video detailed the mods to the MX-5 - a supercharger, some suspension upgrades and a new set of super-sticky rubber being chief among them - and set baseline lap times for the stock car, today, we have the results of the 5,000-pound ($8,200) upgrade job.
Of course, we aren't going to spoil those for you. You'll need to watch the full video, which recaps the upgrades before digging into a comparison of both straight-line-speed differences between the 2.7-liter Porsche Boxster and blown Miata, as well as their behavior and lap times on the track.

Driving the Honda Ridgeline and marveling at Tesla | Autoblog Podcast #638

Fri, Jul 31 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Associate Editor Byron Hurd. They start off talking about why more people should buy the Honda Ridgeline, because it's a pretty darned good truck. Next, Byron talks about some Hyundais. He shares his experiences with the 2020 Sonata Hybrid and talks briefly about the prototype 2021 Elantra currently occupying his driveway. Up next, Jeremy shares his feelings about the BMW X1 crossover he spent some time with, prompting the gang to mull over the notion of BMW's modern interpretation of "Ultimate Driving Machine." After that, Byron talks about towing his 1990 Mazda Miata with the 2020 Infiniti QX80, and then they wrap up with some discussion of the mystery surrounding the Ford Maverick and some comments on the current state of Tesla.
