I am selling my '05 Mazda 6i. It has been an amazing car and a very fun car to own. Its a good car for a new driver. Here has what has been done to the vehicle.
*H&R lowering springs
*RX8 wheels powder coated black.
*Wagner prototype headers
*Wagner downpipe with high flow cat.
*Custom 2.5 inch exhaust from cat back to mufflers
*Magnaflow mufflers(brand new)
*AEM short ram intake.
*Cordova optimized throttle bottle that has been honed for better flow.
*2.0 oil spin conversion kit
*Nextmod front lips, and side skirts
*RX8 bucket seats
*Grill, hood and spoiler were all custom painted black.
*R1 concept slotted disc brakes.
I am running hankook low profile in the back.
I just replaced the up flow o2 sensor.

I changed the oil every 3,000-5,000 because I use synthetic. It has minor issues like in the picture below, the top glove compartment is popped up, I just never ordered a new one. The other issue is the back bumper was swiped by a lady. It has very small black scrapes on the back left side of the bumper. I have new lug nuts in my trunk for who ever to put on.I am the second owner of the car. It is a 4 cylinder but is very quick for a 4 cylinder and you get the good gas mileage. Win Win :)

Takashi Yamanouchi to retire as Mazda chairman

Takashi Yamanouchi has been with Mazda for a long time. He signed on with the Japanese automaker in April 1967 - one month after graduating from Keio University - and rose through the ranks over the years. By 1996 he was named to the company's board of directors. In 2008 he was named president and CEO, an office he held until 2013, after which he handed over the day-to-day reins to Masamichi Kogai and took up the seat at the head of the board room to serve as the company's chairman. But now, after 47 years working for Mazda, Yamanouchi-san is retiring at the age of 69.
During his tenure as CEO and then as chairman, Yamanouchi was credited with growing Mazda's business despite unfavorable fluctuations in exchange rates, opening the company's first plant in Mexico, and spearheading the development of Mazda's Skyactiv technologies and Kodo design language.
In his place, current vice chairman Seita Kanai will take over as chairman. The changing of the guard will take place after the annual shareholders' meeting on June 24.

Aussie Mazda MX-5 Miata specs leak suggests power loss

Mazda's 2016 MX-5 Miata reveal didn't include much in the way of specifications, but the car's debut seems to have blown the lid off of the rumormill, with the latest word out of Australia including fresh claims of curb weight and engine output.
Before delving into the findings from Motoring.com, we're going to take a moment to find a few grains of salt. It's not that we don't trust the Oz publication, it's just that we wouldn't be surprised to learn their car's specifications will vary from that of our eventual North American car.
Of course, we don't expect the footprint of the new ND model to itself to differ much - it will still be the most compact Miata ever - overall length is expected to check in at just over 154 inches - that's about 1.4 inches shorter than the original NA Miata and over 4 inches shorter than today's NC generation, yet it'll ride atop a longer wheelbase and be slightly wider while sitting lower to the ground.
