2004 Mazda 6s - Many Upgrades, Tastefully Modified, Competition Ready Car Audio on 2040-cars
York, Pennsylvania, United States
2004 Mazda 6 S - Sport Model (V6/"luxury" model)
Automatic Transmission Sunroof Leather Interior Power Everything 134,xxx miles Title is clean and in hand Current PA Inspection/Emission (until end of year) I am the third owner. Mechanically, car runs great. Air conditioning blows ice cold, all the power features work properly. The body has a few dings expected in a 10 year old car but nothing major. Paint has some chips as well, and some wheels have minor curb rash. The car is my daily driver and I just recently replaced the battery under the hood, and recharged the AC in the last two months. Have factory floor mats, rubber and carpet. I have receipts for the battery and AC. I retain the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally. Car is tastefully modified, considered "clean" styling and not obnoxious or "rice". Car comes equipped with an INSANE system that is tuned conservatively for daily driving. Audio can be tuned aggressively for competitions, but you'd be deaf for daily driving. System appears stock to the untrained eye, but I've included a pic of the door panel with the grill off. Previous owner competed in car audio competitions and won quite a few. I can keep the audio tuned as is, or go for a little louder depending on the winning bidder. The door panels up front and A-Pillars are custom. I do not have the stock panels or pillars. Here are the modifications. The car has a LOT. I will not part the car out- all of the below comes installed on the car. Exterior/Interior Modifications:

44 Miatas engaged to spell happiness from above
Mon, 16 Jun 2014We've seen all manner of ways to propose marriage, from the usual candlelit dinner to the Jumbotron at the big game. A friend of ours recently proposed with his a barbershop quartet singing backup. But this has to be a new one - and one that automotive enthusiasts would probably find even more touching than a sky-writing biplane.
A member of the Miata.net forum recently asked other MX-5 enthusiasts to help him pop the big question to his bride-to-be. He got 31 Miatas together and needed just four more, but after appealing to his fellow roadster fans, over 40 turned up in the parking lot at the local high school.
The groom-to-be runs an aerial photography business and used an unmanned drone which his girlfriend thought would be shooting some local real estate properties when it flew over the parking lot and captured the image you see above with 44 little roadsters spelling out "Marry Me?" The answer, in case you were wondering, was a resounding "Yes!" How could she not, after all, when those Mazda convertibles are just so darn adorable? Now they'll just need to figure out what they'll be driving to the chapel on the big day.

Competitors in the small-car segment didn't do nearly as well. Four vehicles earned "poor" grades.
Only one small car out of 12 tested earned a good grade in the latest round of crash-test results compiled by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Mini Cooper Countryman received a "good" ranking on the organization's small-front overlap test.
Chicago Auto Show page claims 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata to produce 155 hp [UPDATE]
Tue, Jan 27 2015UPDATE: Mazda wasn't willing to confirm or deny the figures cited by the Chicago Auto Show, although we're betting the 155-horsepower figure is a bit on the low side. As for the CAS page, a Mazda spokesman told Autoblog that they "aren't sure where they got that number." The horsepower estimate has since been pulled down. Well, someone may have made a boo-boo. The Chicago Auto Show is currently hosting a page that claims the Mazda MX-5 will produce 155 horsepower, courtesy of a 2.0-liter, Skyactiv four-cylinder. If this is correct, it'd be the first time the MX-5's US power output had been revealed. The 155 hp figure would account for a 12-hp drop from that of the outgoing MX-5, though, a corresponding weight loss should still improve the power-to-weight ratio for the 2016 model. Now, the CAS page could simply be following previous reports, including one from Autoblog. As recently as October, it was being reported that the MX-5 would be powered by a 2.0-liter, Skyactiv four-cylinder, a version of which is producing 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque in the Mazda3. Naturally, we've reached out to Mazda for comment – or perhaps even confirmation – on the info from CAS, although we aren't expecting a reply until at least later this morning (darn time zones). Of course, as soon as we hear anything, we'll update this story. Related Video:
