06 Mazda 6 I, 5 Door, Very Well Maintained, Lots Of Added Features!! on 2040-cars
Suitland, Maryland, United States
Here i have for sale my 2006 Mazda 6 i Hatchback. I bought this car in
2010 with 60,000 miles. Now the car has a respectable 131,000 miles. 98%
highway miles. I used this car for my daily driver to and from work for
about year and my job at the time required alot of highway travail each
day. Since i have purchased this car i have done nothing but upgrades
and replaced anything that has gone bad or was going to go bad on the
car. I've been a car mechanic for five years now and love to buy cars at
a good deal, then fix them up 110%! I normally drive it for a year or
so then resell it and get something new to play with.
I take very good care of my cars. Always use Mobile 1 full synthetic oil and change it every 6,000 miles. Also do a tune-up at least every year. I've kept this car a little longer then i normally keep my cars i fix up because it was such a fun sexy build and very reliable ride! But now their is literally nothing else left for me to fix or add to this ride, so time for something new. The car had a fresh coat of paint applied in 2011 and over all still looks great! However, while I've had this car for sale i've been driving it and someone rear ended me and ran! My insurance wouldn't cover it. However, the car sill drives fine and has no frame damage. I still have the bumper cover. I photo graphed it with it off so you can see it better. All it needs is an right side tail light and some body work. However, i don't have the money or skills to fix it myself, so i am selling it as is. I am a great mechanic but don't do body work sadly. The car is still a great car though and is defiantly worth fixing!!! Over the years i have kept a list of everything major, work wise that I've had done to this car. I will attach it below so you can see exactly what all goodies you will be getting along with this sale. If you have any further questions or would like to make an offer or an appointment to look at the car, please feel free message me through here or text at, 301-861-6921 However, please contact me first before you purchase. Mazda CX-3 details come to light
Sun, 09 Dec 2012Mazda may be working on a new CUV, according to Auto Express. Reportedly called the CX-3, the small crossover will be engineered to take on the likes of the Ford EcoSport and Nissan Juke, but with a focus on fuel efficiency and engaging driving characteristics.
The report names no sources, but says the CX-3 will benefit from a new small-displacement diesel engine. The 1.6-liter oil burner will be joined by a 1.3-liter gasoline engine when the vehicle debuts in 2014. Auto Express reports the model may bow as a front-wheel drive offering only, with no all-wheel-drive option.
And what will it look like? Word has it Mazda will continue to leverage the face we've seen on the current CX-5 (pictured). That means the company's shield grille will make the jump, but with more plastic lower body cladding. Inside, Auto Express says the CX-3 will offer buyers fold-flat rear seating for extra cargo capacity.
Fourth-gen Mazda MX-5 Miata could get turbo power later in life
Thu, Aug 6 2015While there's a lot to love about the new Mazda MX-5 Miata, its debut was met by a vocal group of enthusiasts who derided the fourth-generation roadster's reduction in power output. The new model only puts out 155 horsepower, down from 167 in the NC. A report from Australia, though, claims Mazda may yet address the less potent output of the ND. Things started earlier this year, as Motoring.com.au tells it, when Mazda's global PR boss, Kudo Hidetoshi, hinted that a turbocharged or Mazdaspeed model "will definitely" be considered. Then last month at Goodwood, the ND's program manager, Nobuhiro Yamamoto, said complainers were welcome to get their thrills elsewhere. Recognizing this contradiction among Mazda's brass, Motoring asked Yamamoto-san again about his statements, which he seemed to walk back. "It's not a conflict [between statements made by Yamamoto and Hidetoshi]," Yamamoto said, indicating that his statements were made in relation to the new MX-5's launch. "Kudo-san talked about this in terms of a 10-year lifespan, but when I was asked the question right after the launching of the ND, I said 'we have no plan to have a turbo at that point in time.' That is what I meant." Seeking an opening, Motoring pushed the Japanese engineer on the chances of a more potent MX-5, perhaps without a turbocharger. "If you could achieve what we want, to which is great response, very light and powerful with great performance feel with natural aspiration, then we don't need a turbo," Yamamoto said. "But if we want more power because we don't get satisfied with natural aspiration then we may think about the turbo." Related Video:
Will Mazda sell diesel hybrids in Japan in 2016?
Thu, Aug 14 2014Could the "Zoom Zoom" automaker start making hybrids that go "glug glug glug"? Mazda, known for its fuel-efficient Skyactiv engine line, will be the first Japanese automaker to make a diesel-hybrid vehicle for Japan and Europe. According to the Yomiuri Shimbun, Mazda may start making its oil-burning hybrids as soon as 2016, and the powertrain may reach fuel efficiency levels of as much as 95 miles per gallon (one the more lenient Japanese driving cycle). That'd make such a vehicle line about 30 percent more fuel-efficient than standard diesels and about eight percent more fuel efficient that the Toyota Prius C compact hybrid (known as the Aqua in Japan). Mazda has been dismissive of hybrid and electric powertrains, instead focusing on Skyactiv technology to maximize fuel efficiency from conventional gas-powered engines. Diesel powertrains account for about half of the light-duty vehicles sold in Europe each year, while Japan's diesel sales of 76,000 vehicles last year were about three times as many as were sold there in 2012. In January, Mazda said that it would delay the introduction of its Skyactiv-D diesel engine from what was to be a spring 2014 debut. The reason was to fine-tune the engine's performance/fuel economy balance. Mazda representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen about the diesel hybrids.
